Yoko's Goodbye
Sequal. Yaaay. Ok, I warn you now, this one is a LOT darker than the first. Like, a lot. So if you dun like torture then go away. >:

“Suichi, my love…”
Suichi stirred awake slowly to meet Yoko’s gaze. Immediately he was awake, because the fox’s eyes were drowning in sorrow. “What? What is it?” Yoko kissed him gently, lovingly, and Suichi could feel his lover trembling, but he arched into it anyway, loving second he had with his beautiful fox. Yoko pulled away all too soon and met his eyes sorrowfully again.
“We’ve been found out, love.”
The fear was sudden and powerful. “H-How…?”
“I don’t know. But they’ll want me more than you, Suichi. I’m the one who broke the law, so if I vanish, then maybe they’ll let you live, because there wouldn’t be a point in executing you if I’m not there to suffer through it…”
“No…Yoko…” Suichi felt his heart ripping at the seams. “We can run together! I don’t care just please don’t leave me!”
The fox’s eyes nearly filled with tears. “I can’t Suichi, you’d slow me down too much for me to get far enough. If we’re both caught, it’s over. It’s better if I vanish…I’m sorry…” Suichi could tell that, although Yoko was trying to be strong, his heart was breaking as badly as his own.
His mind is made up. Begging with him will only compromise his head start and make this even more difficult. Suichi flung himself into Yoko’s arms, tears falling freely. “Promise me you’ll come back?” he whispered.
Suichi felt tears dampen the top of his head as Yoko buried his face in the boy’s hair one last time. “I’ll certainly try, Suichi.” There was silence for a moment. “I love you, Suichi, don’t ever forget that.”
“Of course not, Yoko. G-Go. I’ll be fine…” They both knew that was a lie. Suichi would never be fine.
With one last kiss that made the redhead break down into hysterical sobs, Yoko was gone. Staring at the empty room, Suichi’s heart crumbled into dust. His pain was too great for tears; it was paralyzing, weakening the human’s entire being. Suichi fell back onto the bed and closed his eyes, hoping sleep could relieve the pain for a little while.
