Ch. 1
DISCLAIMER: I dont own any YYH characters and Im no ones paying me to write this.
Okay, this story is probably gonna be short, but check out my other story The Vacation.
Botan comes in the door, dropping her airboard (oar), she throws her arms around Yusuke.
"Botan?" Yusuke asks. She's crying silently. "Botan, What's wrong?"
Kaiko walks in just at that moment.
"Yusuke! What do you think you're doing?"
She storms up and separates them.
Then she forgets her anger as she sees Botans tears.
"Oh, Botan, What's happened?"
Botan falls to her knees, crying harder.
Kaiko kneels next to her. "Botan?"
Yusuke kneels on her other side and puts a hand on her shoulder.
"Botan, we can't help if we don't know."
"I-it's..."
"Yes, what is it?" Kaiko asks.
"Well," She says, wiping away a tear. "You know that machine and council that predict deaths? The predicted one today, a 100%er which are not common, and..."
"Who's going to die?" Yusuke asks the the question before Botan says it.
-------------------A MINUTE LATER--------------------------------
"No." Yusuke's hands fall from Botan to the floor.
Kaiko stares into Botan's eyes. "Are you sure?"
"Y-yes."
"Is there any way we can save him?"
"No, one hundred percent."
"How many days do we have?"
"3"
"What if we just avoid the place?"
"It'll find a way."
"Can we bring him back?"
"No..."
"Why, we brought Yusuke back earlier, when he died."
"Yes, but that was different. It was like 3% No one expected it would happen, so we were suprised when it did. We weren't prepared."
A tear rolls down Yusuke's cheek and he quickly wipes it away. Kaiko rocks back on her heels, staring at the floor in disbelief. A beeping is heard. Botan jumps and pulls out her pager.
"Oh, I-I've got to go. Tell the others if you wish." She runs off, materializing her airboard halfway out the door and flies into the distance.
Yusuke's eyes well up with tears, and Kaiko holds him close as he crys into her.
