Chapter 7 One Angry Demon
Touya painfully cracked his eyes open. He could barely see anything but he could hear voices that sounded very familiar.
“…what should we do?”
“I dunno.”
A soft groan escaped from Touya’s lips.
“Huh? Whoa! He’s awake.”
“Touya?” a soft voice asked. In his blurred vision, Touya could see flowing red hair. A moment later, he could (sort of) see Kurama’s worried face. “Touya?”
“K…Kurama,” Touya managed to whisper through cracked lips. The others gasped.
“Touya…what happened to you?” Kurama asked.
“R…Risho.”
“The dirty bastard,” Touya could barely register the voice as Yuskue’s.
“What the hell did he do to you?” Touya was surprised to hear Hiei a short distance away.
“He…” Touya couldn’t finish his sentence. He blinked and cleared his vision slightly. He could see Hiei’s eyes trailing down his body, taking in his less-than presentable appearance.
“He didn’t,” Hiei growled. Touya knew what he was referring to and closed his eyes, nodding. “The fucking bastard!”
“Hiei, calm yourself,” Kurama said softly.
“Do you know what he’s done?!”
“Yes, Hiei, I’m well aware of what Risho has done to him,” Kurama’s voice suddenly turned icy cold.
“Can you tell us what’s going on?” Yuskue asked, annoyed.
“Yes, however, I think it would be wise if we went to a private place first,” Kurama answered.
“Well, do you have any suggestions about how we’re going to get him there?” Kurama leaned in towards Touya.
“Do you think can walk?”
“I can try.” Touya struggled to stand, though his legs felt like Jell-O. His knees started to give out already and he sank towards the floor. He was surprised to feel a strong arm wrap around him and pull him up. Looking to the side, he saw that Kurama was the one who had grabbed onto him. Without saying anything, the group went into Yuskue’s room. Touya sat on one of the couches in the sitting room, wrapped in a thick blanket.
“Okay…so what’s going on?” Yuskue asked.
“Risho forced himself on Touya,” Hiei answered in a hard voice.
“Uh…what does that mean?” Kuwabara asked.
Kurama let out a soft sigh. “It means that he has forced Touya to lay with him.” Most of the stares were still blank. Yukina, however, understood. Her hands flew to her mouth and tears welled in her eyes.
“Speak English,” Yuskue said in annoyance.
“It means, fool, that he forced Touya to have sexual intercourse with him,” Hiei rolled his eyes.
“I believe you are familiar with it as rape in the Human World,” Kurama added. The girls stared at Touya.
“That’s horrible!” Kayko gasped.
“Can you find where he is?” Kurama asked softly. There was a pause. The Jagan eye underneath Hiei’s bandana started glowing.
“He’s coming. He knows where we are, but he doesn’t think that I’m going to beat him to a pulp when he gets here. The fool,” Hiei sneered.
“What are you two demons muttering about over there?” Kuwabara asked.
“He is coming. You’d better get ready,” A few seconds later, there was a loud knock on the door that made everyone jump except for Kurama and Hiei. Yuskue went and answered it. He moved out of the way and Risho entered looking like he dominated the room. He was met by a very cold reception. The only thing that kept Hiei from lunging at Risho and slicing off his head was Kurama’s restraining hand and even that didn’t look it would last for very long.
“Why have you come here?” Kurama asked in a strained voice.
“I have come for what is mine,” Risho answered, his eyes falling on Touya. Kurama’s eyes narrowed. “We’ll make it easy. I’ll just take it and leave.”
“So Touya is nothing more than a thing for you? An object that you can have?” Kurama asked in a dangerously soft voice. The corners of Risho’s mouth curled up into a cold smile. “That’s disgusting.”
“You cannot keep him from me,” Risho hissed.
“You cannot force him to go,” Kurama calmly countered.
“His body belongs to me!”
“That is bullshit Risho and you know it. Someone can’t belong to someone else. That’s just not right,” Kuwabara spat.
“Oh yeah?” Risho challenged. “I beg to differ. You see, I took a little something of his and now I have the right to him.”
“What the hell are you talking about?!” Kuwabara demanded.
Kurama sighed softly. “It’s a stupid cultural aspect of demons. Whoever takes away the virginity of a demon has the right to claim him as his mate. However,” and he glared deeply at Risho as he continued. “This can only be true if both parties agree to it. It cannot be a one-sided relationship. You cannot force someone into a relationship.” His glare deepened. Risho actually took a step backwards. Yuskue was suddenly glad that Risho was the one on the receiving end of the glare instead of him.
“You think you can scare me, little fox?” Risho sneered. Without any warning, Kurama lashed out with his rose whip. No one saw it coming until he was already pulling back. Risho’s cheek had been sliced so delicately and so precisely that no other damage had been done. Yuskue suddenly started to believe the words Hiei had told him once, when they had first started fighting on the same team.
“Do you know why I chose him to be my partner? To avoid fighting him myself. Watch. He’s more cutthroat than I am when it comes to battles and unbelievably precise.”

Three-eyes was right. Yuskue thought. I’ve never seen Kurama act like this before. I guess you just have to push the wrong buttons to piss him off and boy did Risho push the wrong buttons. He looked at Hiei, who had been released when Kurama had lashed out at Risho, but he was just standing there. Yuskue knew that he was waiting to attack Risho because of Kurama; he knew that Kurama was in a foul mood and didn’t want to test him. Not that Yuskue blamed him. He suddenly had no idea of what Kurama was capable of. Kurama was showing a whole new side of himself that Yuskue had never seen before and frankly, it scared him.
“Ri…sho. Wha…what have you done with Jin?” Touya asked weakly. The others stared at him before turning to Risho. They didn’t like the smug grin he was wearing. “Where is Jin?”
“That does not matter. He will not be among us much longer,” Risho grinned wickedly.
“You bastard,” Yuskue growled.
“Can you find him Hiei?” Kurama asked in a low voice. Hiei’s Jagan eye was glowing. Then, he was just a blur, darting from the room with his super speed.
“You’ll never find him in time,” Risho sneered. Kurama swiftly glanced at Touya, who was sitting with a look of absolute horror on his face and then looked back at Risho, his eyes going from urgent to searing in 0.9 seconds flat.
“You have exactly one minute to leave this room alive,” he said angrily.
“Not without Touya,” Risho answered.
“Get the hell out of here.” The others stared at Touya, who seemed to be trembling.
“What?” Risho asked.
“You heard me.”
“I’m not leaving until you come with me.”
“I’m not coming.”
“You will obey me!”
“Get. Out. Now.” Touya rose from the couch and took a step forward. Risho didn’t seem intimidated.
“You dare speak that way to your master?” The room resounded with a loud slapping sound and everyone stared as Touya backed away, his hand raised in the air. There was an angry red mark on Risho’s face where the Ice Demon had struck him. Risho recovered and swung his fist around, catching Touya in the side of the face this time. Even though he didn’t carry his armor of earth, he still packed a vicious blow; Touya went sprawling backwards into the couch, his torn clothes spread around him like an angel’s wings. Risho took a step forward, presumably to take hold of Touya and drag him away from the others but he found his path blocked by several pissed humans and an even more pissed demon. Scowling and realizing that he was seriously outmatched, he stepped back.
“This isn’t over,” he growled softly. He left, slamming the door loudly in his wake. Kuwabara and Yuskue still glared after him, but Kurama was already by Touya’s side, helping him to his feet. His eyes had gone from searing to concerned.
“Are you okay?” he asked Touya softly.
“I think so,” Touya nodded.
“How is Jin?” Kurama asked without even turning around.
The half-pint demon growled softly. “The fool is still living. Risho didn’t hurt him nearly as badly as he thought he had. Seems he has more will to live than Kuwabara.”
Kurama smiled lightly. “That’s welcome news. I’m going to get Touya cleaned up.”
“Okay.” Touya passively allowed Kurama to lead him from the room. They didn’t stop until they had reached Kurama’s room. The door was closed behind them and Kurama turned to the trembling Ice Demon.
“Why don’t you go and take a shower and I’ll find you some clothes of mine to borrow?” he asked in a kind voice. The Shinobi warrior nodded and vanished into the bathroom. A few minutes later, Kurama could hear the water running. Frowning lightly, he turned to his bag that held his clothes in them. He knelt down and began rifling through them to find something that would actually fit Touya. He was so small…
Twenty minutes later, the water stopped running and Touya emerged from the bathroom wearing only a towel wrapped around his waist, his hair damp from the shower.
“Ah, you’ve finished,” Kurama said, rising from his spot on the bed. He picked up the clothes he had found. “Here, you can borrow these clothes. They may be a bit large, but it was the best I could do.”
“Thank you,” Touya murmured, reaching out for the bundle of clothes. His eyes met Kurama’s. Kurama step forward and his lips met Touya’s. Touya dropped the clothes he was carrying.
Kurama backed away. “I’m sorry.”
Touya shook his head. “It’s…all right. I was startled. That’s all.” There was a silence. “Kurama…I love you.” His body trembled.
“I know.”
Their second kiss was more passionate. Kurama pushed his body to Touya’s, kissing him feverishly. Their tongues intertwined. Touya breathed heavily, his body trembling. Kurama noticed and pulled away.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered.
“No, please,” Touya begged, pulling Kurama closer, his tongue searching out Kurama’s mouth.
“You’re not well,” Kurama gasped between kisses.
“I know. But I don’t care,” Touya answered. He whimpered softly. “I want you to. I want you to take me.” He stared up at Kurama through half-lidded eyes. “I’m begging you Kurama. Have me…even though I have already been tainted.”
“That does not matter to me. I want you…badly. But I do not wish to force myself upon you like Risho. I will wait until you heal.”
“You’ll wait?” Touya asked breathlessly.
“I promise,” Kurama whispered. Their lips met again. Touya’s eyes were filled with tears, but his lips were curled up into a smile. Kurama wrapped his arms around Touya’s waist and pulled him close. Touya closed his eyes and rested his head against Kurama’s chest.
They finally pulled away.
“We should keep this a secret,” Kurama murmured. Touya silently nodded in agreement.
To be continued…
A/N: Sorry about the short(er) chapter. This seemed like a good place to cut it off. I didn’t want it to be horribly long. I’m still nowhere near where I started the original version of this (sigh). I realized that I accidently skipped a chapter. I went from chapter 4 to chapter 6. I went back and corrected that so now it's the right number of chapters.
