Chapter 6: The Maidens Rescue

AN: I like to thank you my reviewers, I know this chapter is late getting out but I have had a tough month with college tests/exams and dental work. I try not to write when I am still feeling the effects of the wonderful stuff the dentist puts you on. Also a bout of major writers block, anyone got a sledge hammer?



Rage dropped the phone as she saw Kemo and Croquet running towards her. She remembered her training with Touya and went into a defensive stance. Kemo threw a punch at her that she dodged without effort. She spun on her heel and kicked the wind out of him as she made a break for the door. Croquet tried to grab her from behind and immobilize her but was flipped into the wall. This caused Rage too loose a lot of what energy she had left after her training. She knew she couldn’t keep this up much longer and prayed that Touya or Ani would show up soon.

She didn’t have to wait long because at that time Team Toguro smashed through the door, literally. “Mr. Sakyo!” Rage shouted just as Kemo advanced on her and karate chopped the side of her neck knocking her unconscious. Pegasus was clapping softly as Sakyo, Ani, and Ottoto came rushing into the room. “My, my, my such rough behavior.” Pegasus laughed sitting on a chair facing the fighters. Sakyo turned and faced Pegasus with clear anger flashing in his eyes.

“You will release my assistant at once.” He demanded seeing Pegasus chuckle slightly. “Why should I? She did belong to me first you know.” Pegasus said getting up and pulling out a dueling decI wiI will play you for her in a game of duel monsters.” He informed as Sakyo saw Rage regain consciousness. “Don’t do it Mr. Sakyo, he cheats. That millennium eye of his lets him read your mind!” Rage shouted before Kemo threw her into the wall. “That is for burning me the other night bitch.” Kemo laugas has he saw her get up and wipe the blood from her mouth.

Unknown to the occupants in the room besides the Toguro brothers is that Karasu was outside the window waiting for the right time to strike. When Kemo threw Rage into the wall he struck. In a flash Karasu had knocked Kemo out of the way and picked her up and fled the room in almost milliseconds. “What the . . . ” Pegasus quickly turned to Sakyo only to see his fist coming right at him. “Mr. Pegasus!” Croquet shouted seeing his employer getting the shit knocked out of him only to be cornered by Ani. “I usually let my younger brother do the fighting, but in this case I will make an exception .” Ani laughed like a madman morphing his clay like body into deadly spikes. Kemo who had recovered quickly knocked Sakyo away from Pegasus.

A very battered and beaten Pegasus stood up and quickly surveyed the situation. “Sorry to run, but I do bid you ado.” Pegasus said as a flash of very bright gold light filled the room from his eye blinding Ani, Ottoto, and Sakyo. When the light faded Pegasus and his goons were gone. “Ani, where has Karasu taken Rage?” Sakyo asked fixing his clothing. “Back to our rooms. But I think she might want to stay here though.” Sakyo looked at Ani after his statement. “Why is that?”

“She seems to like Ice Shinobi Touya a lot, I sense an air of calm surrounding her when she is with him.” Ani stated as they went into the hallway to see Team Masho coming down the hall. Risho was the first to notice the direness of the situation. “Mr. Sakyo, what happened? Where is Rage?” He asked as Touya lost his cool. “Were is she Toguro?” He shouted lifting Ani up off the ground by his blue coat. This caused started gasps among the Masho team. “She is alright boy, but if she didn’t care for you like she does I would have killed you by now you insolent low level youkai.” Ani sated as Touya dropped him. Risho smacTouyTouya up side the head a few seconds later. “Pardon my team mate Mr. Toguro, we would like to know where she is to calm all of our nerves and perhaps move to a different set of rooms.” Risho said as Sakyo nodded.

“She is currently with Karasu in our rooms on the 5th floor.” Sakyo said as they made their way to the stairs. “Jin, Gama, Bakken you three pack everything up while I talk with the receptionist about a room change after we see if Rage is ok.” Risho said as they came out on the 5th floor. Ani got out his key card and opened the door to see Karasu and Bui who had shortly arrived an hour before talking calmly with Rage after her wounds were cleaned up. “Touya.” Rage gasped running to her Ice savior when he came in. “I am so sorry I left you Rage. I figured you would be safe in the room for a few minutes I didn’t know.” Touya apologized while Rage cried on his shoulder and chest.

Sakyo and Risho who had been talking at the time came to the conclusion that in order for Rage to stay safe someone needed to be with her at all times. “Miss Blackthorne, what do you have planned for tomorrow?” Sakyo asked Rage who looked up with eyes that could match her hair. “I am going to be training with Jin and Touya on developing my powers. That is if Mr. Risho will let them.” Rage said looking over at the silent captain of the Shinobi. “I see no qualms about doing that, however soon as you get the basics down a number of us including the Toguro team will be training you in fighting. That is if you want us to.” Risho said as everybody nodded. “Yes, I am tired of Kemo pushing me around and beating me up like some rag doll. I am tired of being weak.” Rage said as raw anger crossed her face and the temperature began to rise in the room.

“Rage, I see you have come some way in controlling you pyrokanisis.” Sakyo said lighting up a cigarette. “I am a fast learner. So what are we going to do about the room situation? We can’t go back to the ones we had because the door is torn off its hinges and Pegasus knows about them.” Rage said as Risho went over to the phone. “I will solve that problem right now,” he said as Touya helped Rage up off the couch. “Thank you Karasu, I am looking forward to the day when Pegasus is finally taken out. That jerk.” Rage snorted getting her fire back into her body. Risho hung up the phone and announced that they had rooms on the 7th floor. “Our new rooms are 17056 and 17057. Jin, Bakken, Gama go get the stuff while I go get the new key cards.”

Rage and Touya went up to the 7th floor to wait for the others after bidding ado to the Toguro team. “Are you sure you are ok?” Touya asked a bit concerned. “I am fine now, I just can’t believe that jerk had the nerve to do that.” Rage snorted again as she cracked the knuckles to her right hand. “I hope Pegasus is feeling the hurt of Mr. Sakyo’s punches. Man I have never seen my employer go ballistic like that.” She said as they saw Risho come down the hall. “Here we go, 6 key cards to the room.” He said handing Touya and Rage the new key cards. After the rest of the team settled in Rage passed out on the sofa the trauma from earlier getting to her.

The next morning was somewhat uneventful as Rage sparred with Jin while Touept ept an eye out for any trouble. He was getting a kick out of seeing Rage nearly knock the crap out of Jin after reversing one of his Tornado fists with her telekinesis and sending a barrage of flame throwers behind it. “Damn, she nearly kicked me ass this time around Touya, you sure trained her good yesterday.” Jin said as his sat down but yelped a bit as it hit a tender burnt spot. “Better your ass today than mine.” Touya chuckled. Rage heard the comment and decided to liven things up a bit, she concentrated and the ties to Touya pants came undone and they fell to the ground. “What were you saying about ass?” Rage snickered as a crimson blush the color of her hair came across his face as Jin broke out into peals of gut busting laughter.

“Alright Rage enough with the comedy acts, time for lunch.” Risho said coming into the arena seeing how scorched up Jin was and Touya fighting the telekinetic power to get his pants back up. “You have come some distance in training Miss Blackthorne, after lunch I would like to test you abilities against my Armor of Clay.” Risho said as Rage let Touya pull his pants back up. “I would be honored Mr. Risho to test my abilities against the leader of the Shinobi.” Rage said as the group made their way toward the hotel.

After a light lunch Risho escorted Rage out to the arena while he told Touya and Jin to go train with Gama and Bakken on the beach. “Ok Miss Blackthorne I will start the offensive, you try to defend against me.” Risho said calling his Armor of Clay. Rage braced herself for the impact by calling her telekinetic powers to form a force field around her body. Risho came full speed at her and broke through her barrier but not before it broke his Armor of Clay leaving him vulnerable. Rage took this opportunity and did a roundhouse kick knocking him a few meters away.

Risho picked himself up off the ground and dusted himself off, “Very good, now I will go on the defensive and you the offensive.” He said as Rage nodded. She concentrated and her hair began to rise like back a few days ago in the dinner hall. A vortex of flames surrounded her body like Jins’ wind power does. Rage held her arms out and fired a major blast of flames toward Risho who blocked most of it with his arms. Rages’ eyes started to glow white as she increased her power. Risho was blown back by the fire and severely burned over his face and upper body.

“That concludes today trainiKaraKarasu and Bui will train you tomorrow.” Risho said as his burn marks began to heal. “I hope I didn’t hurt you too badly.” Rage said as they walked back to the hotel. “I will be tender tonight but fine in the morning. You nearly scorched my ass there.” He chuckled as they made t to the elevators. “I can make it hotter than that, but it would cause me to get drained rather quickly.” Rage said as they opened the doors to the rooms. On the couch was a box that had Rage’s name written on it. “Risho, I didn’t order anything. What is this?”

“I don’t know Rage, open it.” Risho said curious to what was in it. Rage opened the box and found a gorgeous sparkling emerald green evening dress with diamond jewelry. “Who do you suppose? Oh here is a card. Meet me in the Cabana lounge tonight, wear the dress. Touya.” Rage said asking Risho to verify the signature.

AN2: I know it is short but it is better than nothing. SAKYO 1 PEGASUS 0! Round Two Ding, Ding. Rage kicks Risho’s ass, whomps Jin with his own power, and humiliates Touya all in one day, but I still love him. What does Touya have planned for Rage? Hopefully a night of romance. I am not sure there will be a lemon in the next chapter but it is coming up. Always please read and Review! More happy reviews the more I write!
