Kuronue's Betrayal
“Please…Karasu…what more do I have to do to convince you that I know nothing!?” Suichi whispered hoarsely. It had been two weeks and still the raven would not accept that Suichi knew absolutely nothing. He had graduated, at least, from dog crate to a tiny cell, where he was now curled up in the corner, fresh blood trickling from the reopened whip strikes on his back.
Karasu’s smile was too enigmatic for Suichi’s tired, broken mind to decipher. “We’ll see how long you keep resisting,” he purred. Then he left, slamming the door behind him.
Yoko…where are you…you promised me you’d come back…you said I’d be safer with you gone…fox… There was no pain Karasu could inflict on Suichi that could come anywhere close to the raw, throbbing ache in his breast. Suichi buried his face in his knees. Yoko, save me, please… I need you! The tears started again, streaming down the redhead’s tired face as his battered body shook with sobs. I don’t care what they do to me anymore… Karasu can’t possibly think up anything worse than what’s already been done... but it feels like each day that passes, Yoko’s absence becomes more and more painful. I can’t take much more…
There was a commotion outside Suichi’s door that pulled the redhead from his melancholy trance. His door opened, and the redhead’s heart leapt. Scratched and battered, his hair released from its usual ponytail, clothing torn and bloody, stood Kuronue. He’s come to save me! Was Suichi’s initial reaction, but his hopes plummeted when the bat’s eyes met his.
They were bright, flickering red, a far cry from his usual purple, and the look in them was unmistakable. Kuronue growled and pulled Suichi to him, ignoring the redhead’s multiple injuries. Suichi cried out, feeling despair threatening him. Kuronue dragged his tongue up the boy’s throat before sinking his teeth into Suichi’s neck.
A scream tore from Suichi’s body as Kuronue drank deeply, completely unconcerned with Suichi’s pain tolerance. Weakly, the redhead tried to fight him off, a primal terror of vampires rising within him. Kuronue was much too strong for him and held the boy pinned easily, even with one hand tearing at his own clothing.
The bat drank for a long time, shedding his clothes as he did, leaving Suichi dizzy and nauseous. Suichi moaned in relief when Kuronue released him, aware of how much blood he’d lost.
“Kuronue…why are you doing this…?” he rasped as the bat rolled him unheedingly onto his stomach. His tongue found the open wounds on the boy’s back and ran up them, taking more blood from Suichi’s dwindling supply. The redhead’s throat was throbbing still with the pain of Kuronue’s bite. He felt the bat’s hard, angry member pressing against his much-abused hole, and sobbed. “Don’t…Kuronue!”
Kuronue ignored him and forced himself into Suichi’s ass, releasing the feralist snarl the boy had ever heard before fucking him with no regard to the fragility of Suichi’s body. Suichi screamed; the tears on his face were those of betrayal, not of pain. As much as Karasu had abused his ass in the past few weeks, Kuronue’s invasion was not nearly as painful as it should have been. Still, the boy could feel him burning inside him, moving wildly fast, the sensation bringing the boy up and hard despite his feeling of horror.
But when the bat started moving even faster, slamming into Suichi so hard the boy slipped forward on the stone floor, the pain registered. He moaned, too exhausted to scream anymore, feeling whatever had still been intact inside him tearing. Kuronue stretched him completely, filling every millimeter within Suichi’s body, making the redhead bleed. Hot tears of pain now fell down Suichi’s face. He was already dizzy and ill, the pain made him slip in and out of consciousness until Suichi gave in to the darkness and fell into oblivion.
The fog over Kuronue’s mind receded once he released his seed into the lithe body beneath him. In horror, his eyes found the tangled fiery red hair and that familiar gentle face. He pulled out of Suichi’s limp body and rolled him over, noting with dismay the four puncture wounds at Suichi’s throat.
“No…” he whispered hoarsely. “No…Suichi…” He’ll think I’m with them, Kuronue realized. He’ll think I’m the one who turned them in… “Suichi…Suichi, wake up,” he cried, shaking the boy gently. Suichi remained unconscious, and the door opened. Kuronue struggled in panic as the hands of his tormentors closed over his arms, lifting him easily to his feet. He was dragged from the room, but running his eyes over the scarred body one last time, Kuronue’s mind was made up. I need to get out of here and find Yoko. He can’t know what’s happening. I have to escape, if not for me than for Suichi…
Suichi awoke slowly, his entire lower half on fire. Right now, however, what concerned him more was that the ache in his chest had tripled, and in a moment he remembered why. The feeling of betrayal swept over him again. We trusted him…how could he do this to Yoko, whom he loves? Yoko trusted him with his darkest secret… But the more Suichi thought about it, the more it made sense. He was jealous of me and he made little secret of it. Kuronue was the only one who knew and he had reason to hold a grudge against me. I’ll bet it was he who told Yoko that we’d been found out, correctly assuming Yoko would run away and leave me all alone. All the better to get closer to Yoko…
Suichi had liked Kuronue. Although there was obvious jealousy, Kuronue had always been nice to Suichi. He’d never let his emotions for Yoko consume him and therefore was able to treat the redhead as a friend and not a rival. It’ll break Yoko’s heart if he finds out his best friend did this to him… Tears jumped into Suichi’s eyes again. Yoko, where are you? Are you okay? I miss you, fox. I need you to come back for me…you promised…
A few days later, when the initial emotional pain had worn off a little, Karasu pulled Suichi to his feet with a strange grin. Suichi cringed at that face, but had no choice but to follow the raven as Karasu grabbed his leash and dragged him through the hallways of the dungeon. Someone joined them later, and the two dropped into a conversation that Suichi couldn’t hear.
To his shock he was led up the stairs that exited the dungeon, the light from the open door up top burning his eyes. Confused and dazzled he followed Karasu into an elevator.
Karasu finally looked at Suichi with a wicked grin. “If you won’t tell us where Yoko’s hiding,” he purred, “then we’ll just have to make him come here, won’t we?”
Fear for his beloved shot through Suichi. So I’m to be used as bait to lure Yoko to try and rescue me. Oh please, Yoko, don’t fall for it! He begged silently, even though he desperately wanted to see the fox again. Don’t be lured into such an obvious trap; you’re to smart for that! The elevator door opened, and wind whipped at Suichi’s naked form. They were on the roof of the TCC headquarters, which was easily the tallest structure for miles around. Suichi was chained to an x-shaped cross in the middle of the roof, splayed spread-eagled for the entire world to see. There were cameras up here, too, cameras that would broadcast his whereabouts to every public screen known to the TCC. Yoko couldn’t miss it. Suichi could only pray that the fox would resist temptation and stay safely in hiding, wherever he was.
