Scene 3 ------------ One Hour Later
* As Dagon leads Sylk and her remaining pack up to the main gate they find Hiei speaking with Shironji.
Hiei- Cut the pleasantries. Just give me your d--- report.
* Sylk decides to keep quiet and listen.
Shironji- Your Wolf hybrid has had her son. All seems well with them.. But it didn’t turn out as well for the boy named Gamaru.
* Hiei looks back at Shironji after glancing toward the arrivals.
Hiei- What do you mean?
Shironji- He had triplets.. Only one survived the birth, though. I got there just as your Alpha Female was helping him deliver.
* Sylk quirks an eyebrow, but Hiei takes no further notice of her at hearing this sad news.
Hiei- Gam.. lost two babies?
Shironji- Hai, Master.
* Hiei looks away to absorb this a couple moments.
Hiei- How is he taking this?
Shironji- Not very well, sir.. He’s refusing food. He won’t even hold the living son.
Hiei- How long ago did he have them?
Shironji- Just yesterday. I returned to give you the news as soon as I could.. Your mates are doing everything they can for him.
* Hiei scowls and starts to move away.
Shironji- Sir, I overheard a conversation between a couple of your mates. They hold no grudge against you.. They knew to expect this when you first made your decision to..
Hiei- It’ll never excuse me, Shironji! I shouldn’t have left them.
* Sylk watches Dagon move to place a hand on Hiei’s shoulder.
Dagon- Maybe it’s not my place, Master.. But he would’ve lost the babies anyway, even if you had been there.
* Hiei glances up at Dagon.
Hiei- Perhaps, but Gamaru needed me there.
Dagon- There will be plenty there helping him until you get there.
Hiei- Hn.. Shironji, rermove the wards from these other females then return to my pack and keep an eye on them.. I give you permission to assure Sarista that I’m on my way as quickly as I can travel with these women.
* Shironji nods, blinks over to face the females, holds his hands out toward them, then disappears. Sylk watches her packmates shake their heads and exclaim their gratitude.
Sylk- Alright, Sisters, Eboni. Let’s get the h--- out of here.
* The five look at her then watch her take off. Hiei shakes his head when they glance toward him, then hesitantly follow.
Dagon- Pleasant journey to you, Master.
* Hiei grumbles and starts off after them keeping a steady pace and his jagan open behind his ward. Dagon watches until the dark apparition disappears into the swirling mists that constantly surrounds the facility.
