Hiei's Harem - Pt. 1 - Establishment

Fear not, my faithfuls. I haven't dropped the Shura's Quest Series. Just taking a slight deviation to break up the monotony.

Scene 3 ------------------------------------------- The Next Morning


* After a rough night of not getting any sleep the sun finally casts its light into the canyon finding a still-agitated Koorime. Hiei glances down toward the clearing behind his tree. For a brief moment he wonders where they had all disappeared overnight, but then he decides that he really doesn't care. His eyes scan the area and finds a younger male sitting on the rock shelf keeping watch. Hiei starts to open his jagan to scan the pack. When it opens without the usual slight resistance and buffering that the ward causes Hiei raises a hand to rub his bare forehead. The thick white cloth is missing. It must've got pulled off during last night's battle. The Fire demon groans, yet again, as he moves the fingers to rub his throbbing temple. It all makes sense to him now. the old demon must have looked directly into his wide open jagan eye. Even if he had survived the blow to his gut his mind would have been mush. Hiei moans another mental curse and drops down to the ground silently. Sarista, the Alpha female, notices their new alpha when he finds his disgarded cloak and swishes it on. She notices that he continues to move around searching the scuffled area of the clearing. She glances toward the sleeping female that miscarried whom she's sitting beside then stands and moves toward Hiei. When the Koorime notices the similarly dark-haired female approaching he pauses his search. As he studies her he searches his memories of what he knows of these ancient ways. He finally recalls the reason why she is the only one that approaches him. Sarista stops just in front of him and meets his eyes with her own dark red ones.


Hiei- Alpha female?

Sarista- Hai, Master.


* She removes her hand from one of her skirt pockets and holds his ward out to him.


Sarista- This is what you seek, Master?


* Hiei moves to take it from her before fully thinking.


Hiei- Hn.. My name is Hiei, Woman.. That.. is..


* His sentence trails off when her scent wraps around him. Sarista recognizes the 'distraction' and carefully steps up closer to him.


Sarista- It was a bit.. dirty.. So I cleaned it up for you, Master Hiei.


* Hiei swallows, drops his empty hand, then lowers his eyes as she slowly moves around behind him.


Sarista- Please.. allow me.


* The scent of her heat, at this closer proximity, is swirled around Hiei as she replaces the clean, white cloth back around his forehead. Being quite experienced in the 'art' of seduction, Sarista recognizes the trance-like state her new alpha slips further and further into while she takes her time to complete the task. She then moves her fingers through his flame-shaped hair to hide the back of the ward, where she'd tied it, beneath his strands. When the ward is securely in place Sarista moves back around to face Hiei, letting one of her hands trail around his neck, over the shoulder, and up to his chin. Since he's only slightly shorter than herself she doesn't have to nudge his face up very much before their eyes meet again. The Koorime swallows. He is experienced enough, himself, to know the situation he's heading for. But when he opens his mouth to attempt to send her away Sarista is prepared. She quickly bends and captures his mouth with her own. Her taste, as she kisses him deeply, her tongue sweeping and probing his slack-jawed cavern, mixes with her scent to assault Hiei's waning control. The Alpha Female senses Hiei's intentions to escape and wonders if he must be too young or inexperienced to understand the consequences of his actions should he indeed leave them. Although she knows that she could, with a bit more effort, draw him into complete participation, Sarista also knows her place. She reclaims her own control and pulls back with a quiet sigh. After she steps back and removes herself from him Hiei blinks and gathers himself. He quickly wipes his mouth and glares up at her.


Hiei- D--- it, b----! Were you planning on raping me, too?!

Sarista- If I don't please you you need only say no to me, Master Hiei.

Hiei- Hiei..


* He spits to the side trying to rid his mouth of her lingering, delicious taste.


Hiei- It's just.. Hiei.. Don't attempt that.. again! I will not be staying here.. I'm going to take the human girl and leave!


* Sarista glances toward the others.


Sarista- You wish to take Staci.. and eat her?


* Hiei growls up at her.


Hiei- You should know Fire demons don't consume those nasty, weak creatures.


* Sarista hesitates a moment, then crosses her arms.


Sarista- You may favor Fire.. but you're not.. pure.. as I am.

Hiei- My.. purity.. is none of your concern, woman.

Sarista- Sarista.

Hiei- Whatever. I'll be returning the girl to her own world..


* Hiei steps around her to start toward the others.


Sarista- Where she will die.


* Hiei stops, then turns to look back up at Sarista.


Hiei- I have connections that will be able to assimilate her back..


* Sarista looks toward the pack.


Sarista- Staci, come to me.


* Hiei watches one of the younger females, a beautiful blonde-haired blue-eyed girl, slowly stand. She cautiously makes her way around him and over to Sarista. The Alpha Female embraces the nervous girl in an obviously affectionate manner. Sarista turns her red eyes back to Hiei.


Sarista- I understand that you must be young, Master Hiei, so you may not fully understand our ways.

Hiei- Your ways are old and outdated.

Sarista- Hai, but they are still our way of life.. Please, allow me to explain.


* Hiei snorts to expell Sarista's permiating scent, then crosses his arms.


Hiei- Do so quickly. I have to.. get away from here..


* The Fire demoness turns the blonde's head to the side to show Hiei the mark that had been placed on the right side of her neck. Almost immediately a knot begins to form in Hiei's gut.


Sarista- Do you see this mark?

Hiei- Hn.. It's a claiming..

Sarista- If it were placed on her left shoulder just below the collarbone it would be just a claiming mark.. And it would have disappeared as soon as I incinerated Gamock.


* Hiei looks away, but Sarista continues.


Sarista- The same mark is borne by all of us. We were all marked according to the common demon practice.. Surely you must know about this.


* Hiei glares back up at her.


Hiei- Don't talk to me like I'm a child! Of course I know about marking.. But I have no intention of taking any of you as my mate!

Sarista- You defeated our old Master.. If you don't complete the claim within a few days we will all be joining Celestia's baby.


* Hiei hesitantly glances toward the sleeping female.


Hiei- She was pregnant to the old Hyena?

Sarista- Hn.


* Hiei looks back up at her.


Hiei- I know of that law.. I never meant to..

Sarista- I'm afraid its fate was sealed the moment you appeared in this clearing.. The same as your own.. Gamock was old.. We all knew he wasn't going to last much longer..

Hiei- The why did she allow the b------ to..?!

Sarista- He was our Master.. As you are now.. It was his right to take any of us during our heat cycles.. As it is now your right to do so.


* Hiei turns away from her. The Fire demoness senses Hiei's confusion as it grows to frustration. They all watch him begin to pace until his steps halt beside the unconscious Celestia. For several moments he stares down at her shrinking belly. Sarista brings Staci back over and motions her to return to her place.


Hiei- How..? What's..?

Sarista- Her body is re-absorbing the baby.. Fortunately she was only a couple weeks along.


* Hiei looks back up at her.


Sarista- The process will be completed in only a couple more hours. Celestia will come back into her cycle for you..


* Now Hiei growls and turns to move away. Sarista lowers her eyes.


Sarista- The decision, of course, is still yours.. Or you may stay and incinerate us as we..

Hiei- Shut up!


* Now one of the younger males stands.


Troiyoku- You also have the option of facing one of us in battle.. and losing.


* Hiei snorts again as he half turns to glare at the boy.


Hiei- Not hardly, boy.. I would wipe out the four of you in less time than it took me to dispose of the old b------.


* The boy gives his own synical snort.


Troiyoku- I said you could lose..

Sarista- Troiyoku, enough!


* Immediately the boy drops back down to his seated position. Hiei shakes his head and turn away completely again.


Hiei- D---, this just gets better by the minute.

Sarista- Your decision will not be forced.


* Hiei glances an incredulous glare at her.


Hiei- It's a little f---ing late for that, isn't it?!


* The statement puzzles Sarista to silence as Hiei flits away back up into the tree he was in before. Sarista looks toward the others and shrugs slightly, not quite knowing what else to say.
