“WHAT?!” Yusuke and Kuwabara yelled at the same time.
The wolf was just glad that her preciously sharp ears were already flattened underneath the protective dark turban. But still, she just barely kept the wince from her otherwise stoic expression as the loud music faltered briefly.
“Quiet,” she growled deeply. “You wouldn’t want to make me known here, with such a high bounty on my head you four would have to fight to keep me.”
Despite his initial shock, Hiei managed to smirk, "There's no way you could be the Ambrosia flower. He's the only assassin that remains fearless no matter what the circumstance."
Kurama continued to look pale as he said lowly, "Ambrosia flower or not, it would still be difficult to elude the entire demon realm if they were after you."
The tall Logan’s eyes flashed and she unconsciously bared her teeth under the cloth and metal covering, “Not even close fox! I am the assassin flower and I could have easily deceived this world’s people!”
Yusuke narrowed his gaze in concentration as the wolf’s voice almost rose to its normal pitch at her outburst. And though Glenn’s voice was sensuously deep and erotic naturally, it was still undoubtedly female.
After mentally kicking herself, she forced her voice to go even lower and more dangerous as she said, “Arrest me. Or watch me leave. It’s your decision detectives.”
With that said, the tall wolf turned with a dancers’ balance to the door, taking long and powerful strides away from her would-be captors.
She was halfway cross the wooden dance floor when Nayona pranced briskly in front of her. The rare blonde kitsune stood with her clawed hands on her hips, dressed in tight lingerie and an enticing smile.
“How about you and me spend some time taking off all those clothes on you soldier?” asked the flirty fox.
Despite the Logan’s previous thought of keeping herself from this rather foxy demon for reasons she couldn’t quite remember now, the wolf smiled and cocked her head to the side in interest.
The blonde wasn’t tall like most kitsune’s were. She was only just tall enough so that the top of her perky ears were at eye level with the wolf.
Glenn couldn’t help but notice that the kitsune’s ears weren’t the only thing perky about her….
For some reason that had much to do with the wolf’s sex drive, Glenn allowed the pretty fox to saunter closer as she trailed her silky blonde tail up and down the Logan’s leg. Then, with a show of audacious bravery that wasn’t so uncommon with foxes, Nayona pressed herself up against the taller demon, and to the Logan’s surprise, grabbed her crotch.
The wolf had never been so glad to have her tail in her pants in her entire life.
Nayona clutched at it wantonly, mistaking it for something else as she said, “Oh, someone’s a big boy, aren’t they?”
The wolf chuckled deeply and bent to the kitsune’s ear, whispering some very naughty fantasies in a deeply male voice. Nayona giggled playfully and the Logan began to smell the intoxicating scent of sex surrounding the younger girl.
Glenn fought to keep her tail from wagging as the fox continued with massaging her groin when a low voice sounded next to her.
"Alright, we'll bite. Just don't cause any trouble," said Yusuke.
If the poor Logan’s tail hadn’t been confined in her pants, it would have drooped to the ground at such an interruption.
Glenn looked to the Spirit Detective with a wicked look gracing her strange eyes. The boy was shorter than her by many inches, but he stared up at her with authority.
“Must we leave so soon?” the wolf asked deeply.
Yusuke looked very confused...until he saw where Nayona's hand was gently massaging.
His voice caught in his throat and the Logan laughed gruffly. The others came up behind the Detective and Hiei stared up at Glenn, narrowing his eyes and concentrating very hard on her forehead.
The wolf immediately realized he was trying to read her mind. With reflexes sharper than her mother’s glare, the Logan shot her hand out and brought her fingers up to flick themselves across the little mixed breed demon’s nose.
The small demon gave a sound somewhere between a startled yelp and a bark.
The wolf waved a finger at him, “Tsk, tsk, if I am to go with you willingly, I want this mini midget to stay out of my mind. My thoughts should stay mine and mine alone.”
Hiei looked like he was about to hit Glenn when Yusuke stepped between them.
“Fine! Hiei, just keep that third eye to yourself alright? Even if this guy isn’t the one we’re after, he might know where the real one is.”
The half koorime’s eyes flashed with brutal menace as he spat, “I’m keeping my katana at his throat….”
The wolf shrugged, laughing inwardly at Hiei’s anger. She suddenly flinched as the grip on her tail became tighter.
“What the hell is wrong with you?!” snapped the female fox.
Glenn met her harsh gaze and grunted deeply, “Beg your pardon?”
The blonde fox scrunched up her pretty face and retracted her hand from between the wolf’s thighs and crossed her arms in a huff, “I’ve been massaging you for a good five minutes now and you aren’t even hard!”
The dark wolf stared down at the bitch fox like she was going to eat her…and not in the good way either.
Yusuke and Kuwabara cracked up behind the Logan, holding onto each other for support as tears spilled from their eyes.
“Having troubles are you?!” barked the Detective, slapping the wolf heartily on the back.
Kuwabara wiped at a tear as he said, “Haha! We’ve got a pill for that kind of thing in the human world!”
Glenn growled throatily in warning while clenching her fists.
Nayona giggled into her hand and eyed the tall Logan, “I guess looks can be deceiving, limp dick.”
The wolf regained her composure quickly and began chuckling along with them. The fox bitch looked surprised at the sudden change, but she nearly glowered at the wolf’s next words.
With a smirk in her eyes, the Logan said, “I guess whores with fat ankles aren’t my thing. I prefer my women to be good enough to be brought home to my mother. Not some back alley slut looking for a one night stand just so she can pay her mortgage.”
Yusuke and Kuwabara howled with laughter as the female fox glared.
“You asshole!” the blonde snapped before turning on her heels and storming off. The wolf allowed a small chuckle to pass through her lips as she watched the fox go.
“There’s no way you can be the assassin flower,” Hiei stated firmly.
The tall Logan shrugged, “Do you really want to find out, half breed?”
The fire koorime made a move toward his katana as he growled, “What did you call me?”
Glenn smiled beneath her mask and her eyes lit with excitement, “Would you prefer I call you mutt?”
The little demon’s eyes flashed as he drew his katana, “You’ll regret that….”
Glenn smirked as Yusuke once again had to step between them.
“Can you guys cut it out for five minutes?! Jeez, Hiei, do you have to fight everyone you meet?” yelled the Detective.
“Yes,” muttered Kuwabara.
“Come now Hiei,” the wolf said threateningly, “If you’re not a good little mutt brat, I might decide not to turn myself in….”
The half breed nearly snarled as he said, “Doesn’t matter! You’re not the Ambrosia anyway!”
The wolf stared at the smaller demon for a few moments, letting him calm down. After all, she had seen the power of the half koorime at the Dark Tournament. She didn't know what the outcome would be if they were allowed to fight at full force, but she wasn’t sure it would be in her favor. Especially if Hiei was pissed.
Kurama, who had been quietly observing the wolf through all this, said in his mellow voice, “Perhaps we should be on our way then?”
The four briskly led the Logan out of the club and onto the (thankfully) empty and dark streets; there they surrounded her.
“Here, hold still,” said Yusuke as he held the wolf’s arms behind her back and snapped a pair of glowing handcuffs around her wrists.
Glenn shifted her hands uncomfortably against her restraints, testing their strength with her own.
She grunted as a very sharp blade was put to her throat. The wolf’s eyes flashed with amusement as she looked down to Hiei. He smirked roughly and she nodded in acceptance.
After half an hour of walking from the demon city of Manir, Kuwabara broke the silence.
“So, why are you turning yourself in?”
The wolf blinked at the question, “Ano, I grew a conscience?”
After a few more minutes of actually thinking about turning herself in, she said lowly, “Besides it gets…old. Slaughtering entire families for money or because someone has a grudge. It gets hard to sleep at night, no matter how beautiful the company in my bed might be, images of the people I've destroyed...that I've murdered always haunt me."
A heavy silence hung in the air as they listened and the wolf’s words grew darker.
"I can still see the face of my first hit. He was only a kid...some crime lord wanted him dead. He was the only son of someone who worked for the kingpin, I remember. I broke in the house where he lived easily enough; they didn’t even lock their doors. They must have been a very nice family...I went up to his room, passing by his sleeping parents and little sister, and watched him for a few minutes.
"He couldn't have been older than six. It would have been easy enough for me to snap his neck...but before I could, he woke up. He had the bluest eyes I've ever seen in my life, they were so wide and fearful when he saw me. He screamed and his parents came running. I ended up killing them all. Even the little girl. I can still see that boy's face when he watched his family die…. When I told the kingpin what had happened he paid me extra and told me I was a born killer and that he loved my work. Strange isn’t it? After a while I didn't even separate my hits, young, old, women, children, men...they all become the same really."
The wolf shrugged half heartedly and closed her eyes briefly before laughing out loud, “I suppose I should be punished for all that I’ve done!”
“You really are the Ambrosia, aren’t you?” asked Kurama lowly.
Glenn quieted her laughter and nodded, “At your service.”
“You don’t act like the Boogeyman,” said Kuwabara abruptly.
“Pardon?” the wolf said turning to him.
The human grinned and said, “The Boogeyman…you know, that guy who hides under your bed and in your closet?”
The Logan stared at the taller boy briefly before saying, “Stupidity kills.”
“Unfortunately not fast enough,” Hiei said.
Glenn barked out a round of laughter as Hiei smirked and Kuwabara made threats. A few minutes later, the five stepped through a portal leading to the Reikai.
They came out in the midst of a very large office building with frantic ogres running around in it, some carrying papers, others yelling on phones, and some even huddled in corners rocking back and forth.
Yusuke wrapped his hand around the wolf’s upper arm and led her down a series of long hallways, eventually coming to a set of overly large doors with golden handles.
"This is Koenma's office," Kurama explained, "You will meet with him and your punishment will be decided."
The wolf nodded, preparing to break free of the group once the doors had opened. After all, it wasn’t as if she was really turning herself in….
Before the doors opened, Yusuke smiled cockily and said, “You know, I sorta wish things had been different. You and I could have hung out together, you’re not so bad.”
The Logan blinked and smirked roguishly, “Thanks Uremeshi, but I’m much worse than you’d think.”
The Detective shook his head and turned his half grin on the wolf, “I don’t doubt it.”
Glenn stared at him for a moment, almost regretting what she was about to do. Her thoughts were interrupted as the grand doors opened to a fairly large room with only a desk, a TV, and a few chairs in it.
The Lord Koenma looked up from a stack of papers he was stamping and his binkie nearly dropped from his lips at what he saw. A lean figure, dressed entirely in black and a little less than Kuwabara's height, had been led in by the Spirit Detective and his team. Hiei had his katana pressed against the dark figure's throat and the persons' hands had been bound behind his back.
'I don't believe it,' the small Lord thought, 'They actually caught the Ambrosia.'
He swallowed thickly and tried to think of something to say, but nothing came to mind.
He didn't need to say anything anyway, as the group strode forward the wolf smiled underneath her mask and said in a deep voice, "My dearest Lord Koenma, I've come to turn myself in after realizing the errors of my ways, to repent, if you will.”
'If he's seen the errors of his ways, then Hiei's going to become a nun,' thought the Lord Koenma.
"It's true," said Kuwabara, "He just walked up to us and said he wanted to be arrested."
The poor toddler was absolutely astounded. It was enough of a shock to learn that the Ambrosia flower had been caught, but the idea of him turning himself in was almost enough to make him explode. He worked his mouth, but no words came out.
After a few moments of silence, the wolf decided to move. It was time to eliminate her target and collect her pay. But first, she would obviously have to go against the Uremeshi team.
The wolf gave a dramatic sigh before smiling brilliantly beneath her mask, “My pleasant Lord, my lovely captors, I regret to confess that I have deceived you all.”
Everyone suddenly turned to her and Hiei's grip on his katana tightened.
"W-what do you mean?" the toddler finally said.
The Logan chuckled, “I must inform you that I never intended to turn myself in, this was all a ruse to get me closer to my target, it would have been very difficult for me to break in here and so I decided that the team Uremeshi would escort me. You four did an exquisite job by the way.”
There was a two second pause before Hiei’s katana handle came hurtling to the back of the wolf’s head. She instantly ducked and sat back on her haunches to dodge the blow. The gang looked down at her with wide eyes before she suddenly sprang upwards, leaping high enough to touch the tall ceiling. In midair, she pulled her knees tight against her chest and lowered her arms, passing them smoothly under her legs until her hands were now in front of her, still bound by the cuffs.
The wolf twisted her body elegantly in the air to land with a dancer’s grace on one of the chairs cushions.
There was another pause before the others in the room finally managed to process what was happening.
Kurama quickly pulled a crimson rose from his hair and twirled it; soon he cracked the new whip in his hands and watched the Logan like a fox watching his prey.
The wolf had little time to smirk since Hiei had just appeared right in front of her. He jumped up and made a downward slash with his katana. Glenn stepped back and held her hands up with her wrists apart. The fire koorime’s blade cut clean through the energy cuffs and the wolf lunged backwards, bowing gracefully to the little demon in thanks.
Yusuke and Kuwabara were closing in behind the wolf when she landed. Yusuke's right fist came from behind to catch her in the small of the back while Kuwabara aimed for her face. She twisted skillfully to dodge each blow and leapt high in the air, her cloak whipping the air as she moved.
A small noise came from her left and she looked to see Hiei there, already striking with his blade. She blinked in surprise at his speed and tried to avoid his katana, but it scraped painfully along her belly, slicing through both the fabric of her black outfit and the leather corset.
The Logan landed badly and stumbled backwards, hitting the wall and grabbing at her stomach. A vine snapped itself around her ankle and a hard yank brought Glenn crashing down with a grunt.
She glared at Kurama who held the other end of the whip tightly in his grasp. The thorns dug into her skin and she snarled in fury. A flash caught her attention and she looked up to see Yusuke and Kuwabara running to hold her down. But first came Hiei's katana from the air, it flashed again and she twisted as much as she could, bringing her free foot up to connect with Hiei's gut just as he was going to land on her.
The tall wolf sneered at him as she kicked him into the far wall. Then, ignoring the pain, she grabbed the whip up in her hand, yanking it forcefully.
The red haired fox was caught by surprise as the wolf lifted the whip, flinging him to crumple by the wall beside the half koorime.
Hiei shot up, pausing only a moment to make sure the fox was okay before he sprang at the wolf again.
Glenn was busy with Kuwabara, he wasn’t as slow and lumbering as she thought; his punches were well-aimed and strong. She dodged to his left as he swung his arm at her. The wolf grinned at the way he had exposed his side to her as she sank her claws into his shoulder and upper back, lifting the youth up easily and flinging him into Yusuke as the Detective came at her.
They both crashed into the two chairs before skidding to a halt.
Hiei ran full speed at the wolf and the latter growled, pulling her own blade from its sheath. Glenn brought it up just in time to meet Hiei’s katana.
Over the loud ring of metal and steel, the wolf heard the toddler’s voice, “YOU DIDN’T TAKE HIS WEAPONS AWAY?!?!?!”
The tall Logan stepped back and jutted her katana out to her side. The weapon erupted in sickly green flames and when they quelled, a shining sword three times as large as the one before it was left in its wake. Hiei stared at the new blade before springing at the taller demon again.
The sharp clangs of battle rang through the room as the wolf and the fire koorime went at their supposed top speeds, fighting and clashing together like the ancient Titans of old.
The smaller demon made a sudden lunge upward and the two met at a stalemate, weapons pressed tight against each other as Hiei pushed forward, testing his own strength against the wolf’s.
This was a stupid thing to do since wolves were among the strongest demons around—physically speaking.
But Glenn didn’t use her full strength, just as Hiei didn’t.
They each pushed against the other, testing powers and testing wills, trying to make the other bend. Sweat began forming across the wolf’s brow and Hiei’s smirk broadened.
“Don’t tell me the legendary Ambrosia can’t handle this?” muttered Hiei roughly.
The wolf stared straight into his bright red eyes, realizing suddenly that the smaller demon wasn’t going as hard as he could against her.
Despite the situation, Glenn couldn’t help but feel excited at the prospect of someone being as skilled as her. And by the smile that hinted its presence on Hiei’s lips, she could tell he felt the same.
He abruptly flitted from her view and a moment later she knew why.
“SPIRIT GUN!!!” the black haired teen yelled.
She spun around and brought up her left arm as the blue-white energy shot toward her. The enchanted wrist guard activated its shimmering red shield just in time, but still the raw force of the attack made her slam backward.
Plaster and crumpled brick clouded her vision as she stood from the large indention her body had made into the wall. The shield deactivated and she calmly brushed the rubble from her outfit as the dust cleared.
This was getting fun, but the wolf knew she had to stop playing and get down to her job.
Using the same speed Hiei had moments before; Glenn flitted to Koenma’s desk where the young Lord sat cowering under his chair.
The wolf reached down and grasped him up by the scruff of his neck, watching him squirm and yell.
“Hey! Koenma!” Yusuke shouted.
The wolf held the toddler to her chest with his back to her and her sword at his throat.
“Make a move and the baby gets it,” the Logan said.
The others froze in an instant. No one moved and no one spoke for the longest time. Sweat dripped, blood trickled from cuts, but nothing else dared to budge. A stitch grew in Glenn’s side and the blood from the wound on her stomach and ankle started to dry and itch.
Koenma swallowed thickly and finally Yusuke said, "Let him go, Ambrosia."
The wolf shook her head, "Not gonna happen, Slick."
Kurama tightened his grasp on his whip and said lowly, "You must know that there's no way you can escape."
Glenn chuckled, "I don't know, I think I have a pretty good bargaining chip here."
Another tension filled silence grew before the wolf growled and whirled around; bringing her right leg up to swipe it across Hiei's chest as he suddenly lunged for her. She caught him full on and he went crashing to the floor.
Glenn snarled and spat, "I told you not to move!"
The sword in her grasp brushed delicately against the toddler's bare skin, as if indicating what would happen if they didn't listen to her threats. Koenma gasped as the bright green fumes emitting from the sword started to choke him.
The tall Logan unconsciously inched the poisoned blade away from the demigod’s skin to ease some of his discomfort.
At the sound of the door opening, the wolf bared her teeth and snarled.
Then she walked in...and Glenn’s world stopped.
"Lord Koenma sir! Oh! I didn't mean to interrupt...wait, what's going on here?" she said.
The elegant sword clattered to the desk the wolf stood on, soon followed by a toddler as her arms dropped to her sides. In a flash the blade reverted back to its original form and Koenma shot off as fast as his little legs could carry him to hide behind Kurama.
A small woman, barely an inch shorter than Yusuke, came through the door. The Logan swore a brilliant white light surrounded the girl for an instant as she walked in.
She wore a lovely form-fitting pink kimono with a white corset type garment with a purple obi around her slim waist. Some strands of her lovely bright blue hair escaped her high ponytail and trickled down her pale face and curved to an elegant end above her gently rounded breasts. Her brilliantly purple eyes stared at the situation in confusion, until they rested on Glenn.
The wolf felt her knees go weak as the small girl-deity met her gaze. The world around Glenn faded and the boy’s voices were muted as she shared a moment with this spirit of beauty and grace.
Her soft and supple lips parted and a tender blush came to her face at the intensity at which the tall Logan gawked at her.
"Ano...who are you?" the girl asked softly.
The wolf took a step toward her, forgetting she was on a desk. But she was soon reminded as her face met the ground with a loud smack.
The Logan blinked in a dazed manner as she crawled up on her hands and knees. With dizzy eyes, Glenn looked up to see the girl running up to her and kneeling down.
"Oh my, are you alright?" she asked sweetly.
The wolf almost died right then and there.
"Um...I-I..." Glenn stuttered.
She giggled and the Logan had another near death experience.
"What's your name?" Glenn asked in a dazed and hoarse voice.
She gave a silly laugh and her beautiful eyes flashed with curiosity as she said, "I'm Botan."
"Botan..." the tall Logan repeated lovingly.
The girl smiled brilliantly and a stupid grin spread over the wolf’s lips.
"And what's your name?" Botan asked.
Glenn shook her head softly as she gazed up at the girl, "I don't remember...."
She laughed out loud and the wolf couldn't stop her tail from wagging as she regained some of her major motor skills.
Glenn’s sharp hearing caught Kuwabara muttering, "What the heck is going on in his pants...it looks like he has a squirrel in there."
The wolf focused all her attention on this stunning creature called Botan.
"I think I'm in love," she said easily.
The girl stared at the assassin with a shocked expression on her beautiful face, "Don't you know who I am?"
Glenn shrugged and said, "No, but I'd love to find out."
She blushed, "I'm a Grim Reaper!"
The wolf paused after her thought process hit a brick wall. It only took her a moment to regain her senses though as she said, "I always knew death and I had a good relationship, we always seem to flirt with one another."
Botan blushed and covered her mouth as she giggled.
The tall Logan’s tail was going nuts, constantly wagging back and forth like a dog when greeting its master. Glenn gazed up at Botan and the girl smiled nervously as the wolf laid herself on wounded stomach with her elbows propped up, resting her head on her clawed hands.
Botan backed up to the young Lord and said, "Sir, who is he?"
The toddler must have still been reeling from his sudden shock of almost being killed and an assassin claiming to be in love with one of his employees, seeing as he was currently clinging to Kurama’s left leg and didn’t look like he would be letting go anytime soon.
"He's...he's the Ambrosia flower, Botan," the child deity said lowly.
Botan caught her breath as her eyes grew wide, all color drained from her face as she let out the tiniest squeak.
"Dig if you will the picture, of you and I engaged in a kiss,” the wolf sang in her normal voice. “The sweat of your body covers me, can you my darling, can you picture this?”
Botan blinked in surprise and looked from Glenn to Koenma (who was still attached to Kurama’s leg).
"Oh, Koenma, sir! You shouldn't play tricks on people over that serious of a subject!" Botan huffed.
The Logan grinned as the girl-deity went on about proper etiquette and such, simply enjoying her beauty.
"Botan," Kurama interrupted, “Would you walk to me please?"
Botan arched a beautifully sculpted eyebrow before cautiously making her way to the red haired fox. The wolf’s dark eyes followed her every move.
"Look at that," said Yusuke barely keeping his laughter in check.
"Here," ordered the fire koorime.
"What are you guys doing?" Botan questioned as she walked to Hiei.
Again, Glenn’s eyes trailed after her.
There was a short pause before Koenma burst out, "THAT'S HIS WEAKNESS?!?! THE MOST DANGEROUS ASSASIN IN ALL OF HISTORY’S WEAKNESS IS WOMEN?!?!"
The wolf paid no attention to the Lord (who had let the fox’s leg free in his anger), completely enthralled in the beauty that was Botan. The young girl’s gaze found Glenn’s again and the wolf’s tail went absolutely berserk in her pants.
"Alright, now that's just bugging me," Kuwabara said.
Hiei stared at the Logan for quite a while before darting forward and grabbing the wagging appendage through the cloth. With one yank, he ripped it out from the wolf’s pants.
The taller demon yelped loudly and jolted into the air, landing unceremoniously on her butt, holding her offended limb with both hands.
"What the hell?!" she snapped, not even bothering to mask her voice. The wolf rubbed her sore tail bone, scowling at the little demon.
"Are you...I mean...your voice changed," said Kuwabara slowly.
"I know that tail..." Hiei said as he began to glare, his grip became viselike on his katana as he came at the wolf in little more than a blur.
She gritted her teeth and tensed her muscles, waiting for that ending slash.
But nothing happened.
A few seconds later she opened her eyes.
Hiei stood with the others a little ways off staring at the tall wolf.
She blinked and slowly stood up, as she did, she suddenly realized what Hiei had done. The tall Logan stood straight and the turban, mask, cloak and the top of her outfit fell to the ground.
She snorted rudely as the others took in her brand new appearance. The wolf’s beautiful darkly blue hair fell passed her strong shoulders, splaying over her bronzed skin and shadowing her strange black eyes specked through with silver. Her luscious black tail flicked behind her in anger at Hiei's actions and her black ears stood straight up and attentive on the top of her head.
Glenn narrowed her eyes as she looked down at herself; the black corset was just barely keeping itself from bursting at both the strain from her chest and the slashes to it given by Hiei.
"Hot chick!" cried Kuwabara as if that were her name.
The tall wolf placed a hand on her hip while letting the other fall to her side, “You were expecting the Little Mermaid?”
A binkie nearly dropped to the ground as Koenma grabbed his head, "YOU'RE A GIRL?!?!?!"
Glenn cocked an eyebrow and said dryly, "Oh, someone’s perceptive."
Then the tall Logan bowed mockingly, "I am the Ambrosia flower, at your service."
"You're really the Ambrosia?" asked Botan meekly.
The demon’s heart melted at the sound of the girl-reaper’s voice and the wolf grinned stupidly, "Yeah."
Botan blinked wide eyes at the assassin and took a step closer, then another, until she was within reaching distance.
The wolf felt herself sinking into the girl’s deeply purple eyes and the Logan sighed lovingly as she stared at her.
"Botan," Koenma whispered, "Ask what her name is so I can get a file on her."
The very lovely mercenary of death gave the guys a weird look as they watched her expectantly, then she turned back to the wolf and her wagging tail.
"Alright then, what's your name?" she asked.
The tall Logan almost fell to her knees; her tail was wagging so hard. Botan looked down at it and laughed.
Glenn smiled and said, "My name is Glenndolyn Artemis Nefuu Andreas Necona Aurora Markus Erika Tayona Dominic Bethany Blue....the third."
Botan blinked. They all blinked.
"Glenndolyn Artemis..." Botan said. The wolf’s tail wagged so hard it almost fell off.
"You're so...perfect," the tall woman muttered, barely coherent.
The small girl blushed deeply and stuttered a soft ‘thank you’ to the wolf.
"Botan? Could you excuse us?" asked the tiny Lord.
She nodded quickly and hurried out of the room, tossing a confused and weirded-out look at the wolf before she went through the door.
"Everyone else saw that too, right? I wasn't just imaging things, was I?" Glenn asked in a dazed voice.
Yusuke gave her a bemused look, "What? The girl? That was just Botan."
The Logan looked at him incredulously, "Just Botan? Just Botan?! My good man! You could no more say that that was just the sunrise! Or that that was just the sunset! Or that that is just the moon! Or that those are just the stars! No sir! That girl was the full embodiment of immortal beauty, grace, and perfection!"
"WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?!" the tiny Lord yelled. The wolf blinked and looked down at him as her tail still wagged strongly.
She gave a smirk and held her hands out with her wrists crossed over each other, "I change my mind again, my dearest Lord. I want to be arrested...I get to stay here, right?"
Yusuke blinked, "Well, in the cell room, yeah I guess."
The wolf nodded and flicked her tail once, "Well Lord Koenma, aren't you going to call your guards on me?"
The poor toddler nodded distantly and walked to his desk in a haze of confusion. He climbed into his tall leather chair and pressed a red button under his desk. Instantly the lights flashed and went out while a red bulb blared. About thirty ogres bustled into the room and immediately handcuffed the Logan and tied her up, carrying the demon out of the office in a rush.
Glenn didn't even try and fight them, still content in thinking about her lovely Botan. Twenty minutes later she was locked in a cell in what must have been the dungeons.
The wolf was shackled to a wall by her ankles and wrists, but the chains gave her enough slack to pace her cell and to lie across the cot in the corner. She stayed there for a few hours, thinking of that beautiful girl; finally she seemed to come back to her senses when she realized what she had done.
She instantly scowled and groaned into her clawed hands.
"Ahou!" she snapped at herself, "What the hell was I thinking?!"
She smacked her hand against the side of her head as punishment.
"Great, that's just great, not only did I reveal my identity, but I got arrested, and I acted like a dumbass in front of that Goddess!"
The wolf groaned again and lay back on the cot. It was just something about pretty women that made the wolf go stupid; it had started somewhere around puberty.
"Ahem...."
Glenn cracked open her eyes to look up at the red headed fox as he nodded delicately at her. She grinned and sat up and leaned against the wall, tossing her hands over her head in a cocky manner and crossing her legs.
"Well now, what brings such a noble creature to my presence?"
Kurama narrowed his eyes sternly and said, "Lord Koenma would like a word with you...."
"Call me Glenn," she said easily.
He nodded, "Glenn."
She eyed him for a moment, flicking her ears and tail, before nodding to herself, "Oh yes, I remember now…."
Her gaze slid over his pleasant features, studying him hard, "You were the infamous Yoko Kurama...were you not?"
The fox bowed his head and closed his eyes, "Yes, but that was in another life."
Glenn smirked and laughed loudly, "What would the masses think? Two legends in one room together! One has turned themselves in and is chained to a dungeon wall, while the other is now some pretty human boy!"
Kurama smiled lightly as he slipped a set of keys out to unlock her. She watched him unlock the door, before he then set her free from the wall.
The wolf stretched her hands high above her head, not noticing that the corset was writing its will as she did. It stretched to its limit and five of the twenty-something strings holding it together snapped, leaving a large portion of her cleavage exposed to the fox as if she had planned it.
He swallowed thickly as the two of them stared at her chest.
"Kuso," she muttered, "Now I'll have to get a new one."
Kurama blushed a little, "I’m sure it will be fine, Glenn."
The tall wolf caught the cute fox staring and she quirked an eyebrow at him, deciding to end any train of thought that might be running through his pretty head.
"Hey, watch it now fox brat, I don't swing that way."
Kurama blinked innocently and nodded, "Of course, I understand."
The wolf laughed gruffly, "Shall we?"
He wrapped his hand around her upper arm and led her out of the cell. Ten minutes later they were again in Koenma's office where the rest of the guys were. Conveniently, everyone seemed to notice her ripped corset.
She was about to suggest sending out a search party to rescue their eyes from her cleavage before Koenma spoke, "I'd like you to join our side."
Glenn paused before tilting her head back and barking out a round of laughter while thinking, 'This has to be some form of karma....'
