Whore!
Chapter 3: Whore!
*****
It was another Sunday, and Hiei’s gang had gathered in the street about ready to fight the Triple Point Gang from the Saoatome School. Hiei’s gang had been number one since he took over it about five years ago when he was a freshman in middle school, seventh grade, and no snobby, rich smart ass punk was going to come and take any territory away from him.
Hiei was about to sound the attack on the greasy punks when a flash of familiar bright red hair caught his attention. The opposing leader looked a lot like Hisashi only his squashed face look more like he’d gotten run over by a car and he only stood half a foot over Hiei and three times as wide, and next to him was a familiar green eyed ‘seductress’ with bright red hair in a high, tight ponytail wearing a somewhat loose white button up shirt that made it hard to tell that he had a flat chest, a black leather mini skirt that clung to his hips, and barely covered half his thigh, and opaque black thigh high stockings increased the perfect muscles if his long legs, and black high heels made him look even taller. The leader grabbed Kurama around his slim waist, pulling him close for a small kiss, which made Hiei cringe.
“Kurama! What the fuck are you doing?” Hiei shouted, trying hard, but obviously failing to hide the disgust that had suddenly seized his insides, and twisted his guts into knots.
The red head turned to give Hiei a seductive little smile before he turned to leave the short gross leader, showing his perfect ass in the tight little skirt, but Takashi grabbed Kurama's frail looking wrist tightly with one pudgy hand while the other tugged at the long hair tied up in a high ponytail, and forced another kiss on the beauty, but this time Kurama was squirming uncomfortably, and Hiei could see that disgusting pig shove his tongue into Kurama's mouth.
“You bastard!” Hiei nearly screamed when he launched his attack on the leader with his amazing almost inhuman speed. Why do I want to protect this traitorous boy-girl?- so much? He- she- whatever had betrayed me…sort of… right? I’m so confused. Hiei had to find out what was going on.
Shoving the red head out of the way, Hiei nearly demolished Takashi with only a few punches to the gut and an amazing kick to the head. When he was done Hiei stood up straight next to the body, which now looked more like a heap of black and blue swollen bruises.
“This is OVER!” he growled to the rest of the Three Point Gang, and the group of kids were gone in an instant. Hiei grabbed the flustered Kurama's hand, “And you… You are going to tell me what the fuck is going on with you, and why the hell you’re dressed like that.”
Kurama followed, completely pliant, as if he had a choice, if he stopped, Hiei would probably go on pulling his arm out of its socket. As they walked quickly, Kurama tried desperately to fix his hair and keep the skirt down with one hand.
When they made it to Hiei’s cheap, tiny, and very old apartment, the confused boy threw his 'gender confused princess' to the couch roughly. Kurama took a quick look around his surroundings. The room was pretty much bare, but what was there was a complete mess or twenty years past the expiration dates. The floors could use a good mopping or carpeting might be easier, the walls, a fresh coat of paint after scraping off all the peeling chips of old paint, and the couch could use... well a new couch would probably just be easier, but for what it was worth it was very well worn in and rather comfortable.
“What the hell is going on, Kurama?” Hiei demanded, his amazingly deep voice booming, breaking Kurama's concentration on the rest of the room.
“Hmm?” Kurama sexily draped himself over the couch, letting his white shirt hang open a little, stretched so the skirt went even higher, and pulled the hair tie from his hair so that it draped over his body and on to the arm of the chair in a soft fluid like motion.
“Who are you, exactly?” Hiei’s voice was so gruff and angry that it made Kurama wince the tiniest bit.
“I am who I need to be.”
“What does that mean?” the gang leader became more and more confused with every word the red head said.
The pretty boy, lounging on the couch sighed and pouted, “You’re not going to join me?”
“What are you? A whore?”
Apparently taking some offence, Kurama shot up in the seat, but regained his sensual demeanor quickly sprawling himself over the cushions again, “If that’s what you want me to be.”
“Why are you doing this?” Hiei paced back and forth frantically.
“Why do you care so much?” the boy in girl’s clothing suddenly stood, Kurama looking down on Hiei, their difference in height increased even more by those blasted high heels.
Hiei stared up at him angrily, but his expression soon melted into a softer look of confusion, “I-I don’t know.”
After a long silence, Kurama settled back down again, holding his head in his hands, “I have no choice. I’ve been on my own since I was eight… I- I had to do whatever I could just to survive. I became a thief, but I only stole food and books, and money when I needed it, sleeping in alleys and park benches… When I was fourteen, I didn’t even have enough money to go to school… I just wanted to learn something, you know, so I could become something someday, but I didn’t even have enough for a hair cut. One night, some guy who thought I was a girl offered me three hundred dollars to spend the night with him. I knew it was wrong, but three hundred was more money than I had ever expected to have at any point and time in my life.
“Ever since then, I let people think whatever they wanted as long as I got what I needed.”
“So, this past week-?” Hiei said with a tinge of disgust and self loathing in his voice.
“I- I’m not allowed to get attached to anyone,” he fell back into the couch, staring at his hands.
“What does that mean?” the shorter boy demanded. His head started to hurt, confused about what was going on in his heart.
“It means… it means, I have to go,” he stood to leave, but Hiei grabbed his wrist as he tried to walk by him.
“Where are you going?” they stood back to back, neither able to look the other in the eye.
"Wherever I can, but I have a place... sort of...”
“… Stay.”
“What?”
“Stay… You can sleep in my room.”
“Why?”
“Because.” It was too embarrassing to say that he actually wanted to protect him from that damnable Takashi.
“Because?” he almost laughed.
“Just stay.”
Turning on his heels, Kurama faced the shorter teenager with a sad smile, “This isn’t good, Hiei.”
“What?”
“You’re going to make me break my code,” he leaned in closer to Hiei, brushing their lips together.
“Huh?”
Another brush of lips, “I think I’m really starting to like you.”
“Oh, uh…” Hiei blushed profusely, his face and body burning red as Kurama kissed him softly with all the skill he’d learned over his many years as a whore on the street, but was still denied when he tried to enter Hiei’s delicious cavern.
“Hm,” Kurama pulled away a little, and offered, “I’ll make dinner.”
“Okay,” Hiei gulped, “But, um, there’s nothing but beer in the fridge and a few packs of ramen in the cupboards.”
“Don’t worry,” Kurama smiled sweetly, making Hiei’s insides melt, “I’ll go to the market.”
“Um, okay,” Hiei reached for his wallet in his back pocket.
“No, it’s all right, I’ve got it, but I have to go back to my place to get my money,” he looked over himself, “I guess I need to get a change of clothes anyway.”
Hiei took a look outside realizing that the sun was already setting, “I’ll go with you.”
“I’ve lived on the streets for the past ten years. I think I can take care of myself for one trip. I don’t live too far from here anyway.”
Hiei just stared him down. Honestly, he didn’t trust that Kurama would come back.
“Alright, alright, fine, whatever you want. But I’ll tell you now, if you think your place is bad… you’re going to hate my place.”

Sorry, I think that this one's a little shorter than the first two, I just couldn't figure out where a good break would be in the story... I think that its one of the shortest chapters in this series...
Um... Yay! Keep reading!
Oh, and please try my other story of 'Model and the Beast' it's not as good as this one, at least I don't think so, but it does get better than where it is right now even if a little odd... Oh, I'm blabbering, huh... sorry... =P
