Hiei's Harem - Pt. 1 - Establishment

Okay, the common concensus seems to be that I can break it into sequels and it won't lose interest, so this is what I'm going to do. Take note that I slightly altered the title for this first segment. As I responded to someone already in my LJ, there will probably only be a break of a few days or so between sequels depending on where I decide to break it up, also it depends on how the story decides to move along. Thanks for your input. :o)

Also, you should be warned if I haven't already, there will be character deaths. But as of now they are all just my OCs, so don't panic. I should also note, that when I call the younger males "boys" it is not intended to mean that they are minors. As the story progresses I make mention of ages. Just remember that age is pretty much irrelevant when it comes to demons, as I see it.

Scene 27 ------------------- The Next Morning


* Hiei, sitting on the edge of the rock ledge dangling his feet, opens his eyes and looks down when Sarista approaches the overhang. The rest of the pack are preparing the morning meal. The other young males gather not far behind her curiously.


Hiei- Sarista.

Sarista- Good morning, Master.

Hiei- (Half-yawned) Hn.

Sarista- Is he okay?


* Hiei glances back at the boy that's still asleep behind him.


Hiei- He's hibernating.. The marking went well, though, Momma. I just wore him out too much.


* Hiei smirks and Sarista nods. Hiei watches Gamaru and Silis exchange glances. Then Gamaru looks back up at him as Silis moves away.


Hiei- I'll tolerate no jealousy in this pack.. From none of you.


* Now everyone looks up toward him curiously.


Hiei- You all belong to me equally.. Is this understood? Yes, even you, D'Tara.


* Most of the females giggle as they look at the large Hyena female who is now blushing. Sarista tilts her head as she looks back up at Hiei.


Sarista- This is the way it has always been among packs, M'Lord. Do you not know this?


* Hiei just blinks down at her blankly as she gives her younger son a shove that sends him away.


Sarista- Will you be coming down to eat with us this morning?

Hiei- We'll be down when Troyo wakes up.

Sarista- His name is..

Hiei- Whatever the h--- I decide to call him.. Correct?


* Now it is Sarista's turn to smirk as she nods and moves to join the others who are continuing to prepare the morning meal. Hiei feels his jagan tingle as it opens wider behind the ward. The intruder is getting closer. He'd been silently monitoring the demon since he entered the ravine, waiting to see how long it would take for the younger males to notice the presence. He rolls his eyes and bows his head when it is actually Sarista who notices first.


Sarista- D--- you, boys! Get your heads out of your a--es! There's a stranger coming!


* The three snap to their feet and look up at Hiei.


Hiei- Hn.. Go take care of him, he don't feel too strong.


* Gamaru and Silis hurry away. D'Garo hesitates to look back up at Hiei again.


D'Garo- Should I stay to help you?

Hiei- No. They'll need more help than I will.


* D'Garo nods and leaps off after them. Hiei continues monitoring them with his jagan. He's eager to see them put their training to the test. He's only a blink away if they need him. Then suddenly he feels a new presence appear above him. He has just enough time to take out his katana before the demon drops on top of him. Hiei and the slightly larger spider demon struggle on the cliff. The katan skitters away as the demon wraps Hiei up in it's multiple arms. The struggle catches the attention of the females and some of them cry out. Sarista and Lily herds them into the cave quickly. Sarista keeps her eyes on the struggle as Lily looks in at Celestia.


Lily- You know what to do if someone makes it through my vines.


* Celestia nods firmly then Lily wills her vines to enclose the entrance. She then turns her full attention toward communicating to her various gaurding plants that are scattered around the outskirts of the clearing.


Lily- There's others!


* As they've been trained, the two females get closer together and take alert stances. Sarista's eyes catch another demon when it darts in from her right. She quickly sets it ablaze.


Sarista- Hungry spider demons! They eat babies!


* Lily nods, but keeps her eyes on the struggle on the cliff. Hiei finally realizes that this demon's only purpose is to keep him wound up in it's arms. Sarista lights up a couple more rogues that try to rush into the clearing. Hiei keeps ahold of the spider's head as it continues to try to bite him. Just as Hiei is about to raise his own body temperature his captor screams. Troiyoku had finally woke up, gathered up Hiei's dislodged katana, and sliced the spider's spine. Hiei shoves the dying demon away from him and sends a burst of black flames to finish the job. Troi gives him his sword and quickly puts his pants on.


Troiyoku- Morning.

Hiei- Hn.

Troiyoku- How many?

Hiei- Not sure. They're able to cloak themselves..


* Hiei spins in time to impale the next demon that is leaping down on them. It squeals as it rolls on over the edge of the cliff.


Hiei- Until just before they attack.. Spider demons..


* When the impaled demon hits the ground Lily uses a vine to slash it to pieces. Hiei and Troiyoku leap to the ground.


Hiei- The others took off that way to handle the leader..

Troiyoku- I'll go..

Hiei- No. We have to stay here and protect the cave.

Sarista- We have things covered here.


* Lily slashes another demon that charges out of the trees from her left.


Lily- I'm waking up my carnivorous plants I have scattered throughout the ravine.. They're already starting to feast.. Ahh!!


* A couple streams of webbing fly out to start wrapping around the kitsune. In a blink Hiei follows the webbing and strikes down the demons at the other end. The invasion finally angers Hiei to the point of where he rages out his full energy. As soon as the rest of the invaders feel the strength of this Alpha's aura they quickly flee. Hiei mentally curses himself for being caught so offguard that he hadn't done this sooner. He flits back over to Troiyoku who is slashing the web away from Lily.


Hiei- At least they're retreating. They have some semblence of intelligence.

Sarista- They were after Klarice and I.


* Hiei looks up at her scowling.


Hiei- Then why the h-- aren't you inside the d--- cave?!

Sarista- I was busy roasting their a--es!

Hiei- Hn.


* Hiei looks at Troiyoku.


Hiei- Let's go. I have a special parting gift to give these sons of b----es.


* Troi follows off after Hiei. Luckily, the various attack plants recognize the boy and their Master's Alpha as they blink through the trees heading toward the other males. When they reach the second battle they find Gamaru and Silis standing alertly back to back, heaving. Hiei blinks down to land beside the third, prone male scattering the spiders that were on top of him. Troiyoku reaches them as Hiei releases his energy again. Troi bends to turn D'Garo over carefully when the spiders begin to retreat.


Hiei- He's still alive.

Gamaru- There were.. suddenly.. so many.

Silis- They're going back to.. the larger one.. He backed off when you flared.. a bit ago..


* Hiei nods, realizing now why he can only feel one intruder again. The smaller minions can somehow gather inside their leader.


Hiei- Get 'Garo back to your mother.. I'll take care of this creep.


* Before they can respond Hiei flits away. Troiyoku looks up at Gamaru who is still staring toward the direction the demons all retreated.


Troiyoku- Gam.. Gamaru..


* Silis has to shake Gamaru firmly to gain his attention.


Silis- Calm down, Gam. Master Hiei will take care of them.. You need to carry 'Garo back..


* Gamaru now hurries over to the severly injured, unconscious boy.


Gamaru- He's.. s-still alive?

Troiyoku- Yes, but he's hurt bad. We need to get him back to mother.


* Gamaru gathers D'Garo up into his arms.


Gamaru- I thought.. they'd killed him! There were.. so many..

Silis- Come on, Gam, snap out of it and move.. He's probably been poisoned..


* Just then all three hit the ground when they hear a shrill cry of something extremely large not too far away. The cry is soon followed by tremendous crashing and finally a large explosion against one of the side walls of the canyon that shakes the ground. This is the way Hiei finds them all when he returns. Troiyoku, Silis, and Gamaru blink up at him as they watch him finish securing the ward back into place around his right arm.


Hiei- The threat has been dealt with.. Why the h--- are you still here?!


* Gamaru looks back down at the boy in his arms.


Gamaru- I.. couldn't.. protect him.

Hiei- Well, you can get him back to Sarista! Now pull yourself together and go!


* Gamaru nods, gathers himself out of his shock as much as he can, and takes off. Silis looks at Hiei.


Silis- We did our best..

Hiei- You all lived this long.. That is certainly much improved from when I first found you.. You need healed as well.


* Silis glances down at his bleeding arm.


Silis- One of them bit me, but I think I killed him before he could put too much poison in me.. It's numb, though.

Hiei- Hn. Troyo, carry him so his blood won't circulate too much.. Let's go.


* Troiyoku gathers Silis up on his back and they take off back to the main cave.
