Hiei's Harem - Pt. 13 - Inheriting

This’ll be one of those necessary long scenes. Also, is anyone else getting a pop up that says something about the security certificate expiring? Is this a problem?

Scene 20 ------------- Three Hours Later


* The sun is well below the horizon when Sarista helps Sylk guide her second cub to join the first in nursing.


Sarista- They’re beautiful babies, Sylk.


* Sylk half glances up at her wearily, then toward Hiei. When Eboni cries out she looks toward her daughter a few feet away.


Sylk- Make yourself useful and go help Eboni!


* Sarista clamps her jaw and goes to join Trinka and Lily.


Lily- I think this one is breeched.

Sylk- Make her stand and move around some.


* Sarista shakes her head after she lays a hand on Eboni’s belly.


Sarista- Can’t do that for this..

Sylk- Eboni, you do what I..


* Sarista glares at Sylk.


Sarista- No! If she stands up she’ll lose this one!


* Sylk thrashes her tail in weary anger. She feels her exhaustion begin to pull on her, tries to resist it a couple moments, but soon loses the battle. When her head collapses to the ground Troiyoku leans to nibble on one of Hiei’s pointed ears. He and Sarista both felt him use his jagan to put the Pantheress out. Before Troi can speak Hiei looks to the side as Garnetia approaches. Sarista returns to her messy duty of reaching up into Eboni to try to get her second baby in a better position. Garnetia looks toward them as Eboni cries out.


Eboni- I can’t.. stand..! It hurts,.. m-momma!

Sarista- Your Mother’s in hibernation.. I’m in charge, Eboni.. Now, listen to me. Your second baby.. in here.. is breeched sideways.. That means..

Eboni- It’s going to die!

Lily- Not if we can help it, Girlie.

Sarista- Just relax.. Try not to push.. until I tell you to.

Eboni- It.. hurts!!


* Lily tightens her hold on Eboni when she tries to squirm again.


Lily- I know, Sweetie.. But do your best.. to hold still.. Breathe deep and steady..

Eboni- I don’t.. even know you..!


* Hiei looks back up at Garnetia.


Garnetia- Tachi and her three babies are fine.. She’s worn out, but it was a fairly easy delivery.

Eboni- Ahh!! Wh-What are you.. doing?!

Sarista- I have to.. position the baby.


* Before Hiei can speak Garnetia hurries over to kneel beside Eboni.


Garnetia- What..?


* Sarista glances at the strange female.


Sarista- Her second baby’s breeched sideways.. I need her to relax..


* Garnetia nods. She gently makes Eboni look at her.


Garnetia- Eboni.

Eboni- G-Gar-ni,.. help me!

Garnetia- Focus on my eyes, Sissie.


* Eboni grimaces, but meets Garnetia’s mezmerizing gaze.


Garnetia- That’s it. Relax now. I won’t let them hurt you.. You trust me, Sissie.


* Sarista and Lily exchange glances when Eboni slowly goes limp and stares, trance-like, into Garnetia’s eyes. Hiei tilts his head to observe curiously. With Eboni fully relaxed it doesn’t take Sarista long to ease the second tiny bundle into alignment. A few more moments and she glances toward Garnetia.


Sarista- Can you make her push now? Gently.


* Garnetia half glances toward Sarista then nods and focuses back on Eboni.


Garnetia- Alright, Sissie, give me a few slow pushes and we’ll be done.. Easy now.


* Garnetia continues coaching as Sarista helps the young demoness’ second baby emerge. When she sees that the tiny silver-colored baby isn’t moving she quickly lays her aside and motions for Trinka to help her. Hiei stands and takes a step forward as he watches anxiously. Garnetia wisely keeps Eboni in the trance. It is several tense minutes before a tiny squeaking cry breaks the heavy silence in the Waterfall Meadow. Hiei relaxes to sit back down against Troiyoku.


Hiei- I may hibernate for the rest of the night and all of tomorrow.


* Troi chuckles. Garnetia breaks the trance when Sarista passes her the squirming baby girl to give to Eboni. In a couple moments the young female is nursing both of her newborn daughters. Hiei watches their tiny, black-streaked tails wag awkwardly until Garnetia approaches him.


Hiei- Nice trick.. Anything else that I should know about you?

Garnetia- That’s pretty much my only special talent.. I don’t use it too often. It takes a lot of my energy.. I would never use it on you.

Hiei- D--- right. My jagan would defend itself. You wouldn’t enjoy that headache.


* Garnetia lowers her eyes then starts to leave.


Hiei- Garnetia.


* She freezes at his tone.


Hiei- Thank you for helping. It’s just been a rough few hours for me.

Garnetia- I’m glad I could help.. I’m happy that they’re all okay.

Hiei- Tell Tachi that I’ll be around sometime tomorrow.. Make sure she knows that I won’t harm the babies.


* Garnetia looks at him a moment, then nods and leaves. Sarista comes over to sit beside him.


Sarista- How long will Sylk be out?

Hiei- I can allow her to wake up any time I choose.

Sarista- You do know that she’s going to be pissed.

Hiei- What else is new?

Sarista- I disobeyed her orders.

Hiei- You did what you had to.. She should thank you that both of them are still alive.

Sarista- Do you really intend to release Sylk if she still chooses to do that?

Hiei- Hn.

Lily- Well, it would restore some peace and order around here.


* Hiei looks toward Lily who is leaning to examine Sylk’s twins, a boy and a girl.


Lily- They’re all.. part Kitsune.


* She looks toward Hiei as she moves back away from them.


Lily- I don’t think you told us who their Sire is.


* Hiei is quiet for a couple moments before answering.


Hiei- Youko Kurama.


* Lily looks down at Hiei amazed.


Hiei- It’s a long story.

Sarista- One of the friends you went to free from Matsua?

Hiei- Hn.


* The Koorime snuggles back against Troi more, signalling that the conversation is over. Lily and Sarista exchange glances, then Lily and the rest of the pack leaves the meadow.
