Hiei's Harem - Pt 11 - Asserting

I didn’t realize how long this scene was on paper till I started typing it up. So I decided to break it up into two scenes.

Scene 20 -------------- Outside The Cave


* As he exits the cave Hiei turns his attention from the children to Minoro when the large male comes over.


Minoro- Master?

Hiei- It seems that Silis is going to deliver early.

Minoro- I sensed a disturbance and got here as soon as I could.


* Hiei motions toward the table.


Hiei- Well,.. I guess it’ll be a while so we might as well eat.. or something.


* Minoro follows him over to the table, but doesn’t sit down with him. Instead, he carefully moves over behind his Alpha and begins to cautiously massage his shoulders.


Minoro- It’s.. good to have you back.


* Hiei grunts and hesitates to begin eating when he feels the male’s trepidation.


Minoro- Did you accomplish your goal?

Hiei- Hn.


* Using a burst of his speed Hiei takes advantage of Minoro’s caution to position him on the ground and straddles him. Hiei is puzzled when the usually-good natured boy cringes.


Hiei- What did you do?

Minoro- Nothing.. Honest.. I haven’t forgotten my place, Master.


* Hiei spreads his legs a little more to relax himself down against Minoro’s crotch. The Hyena closes his eyes and swallows.


Hiei- ‘Noro, why are you afraid of me? Have I given you some reason to..?


* Now it is Minoro that casts a puzzled look up at Hiei.


Minoro- A-aren’t you.. going to.. assert your.. p-position?

Hiei- Hn.. I think I already am.


* Hiei leans down and begins to nibble at Minoro’s throat. He feels the boy swallow, but bare his throat more, and draws back again.


Hiei- I’m not going to hurt you.

Minoro- Th-that’s how.. most alphas..


* Hiei cuts him off by lowering his mouth back down to capture Minoro’s. He continues the action he started to assure the gelding, but mostly to distract himself from the sounds of agony drifting out of the cave.


(#) Hiei- Do I.. need.. to hurt you?


* Slowly Minoro relaxes and shakes his head, freeing his mouth.


Minoro- No.. I’m still yours,.. Master.


* Hiei moans at the effect these words have on him. Then he feels a twinge of guilt and hides his face against Minoro’s broad chest. The Hyena brings his arms up to embrace him.


Minoro- Sir,..

Hiei- I should be in there.. D---, even now that I’m back I’m still.. neglecting..

Minoro- Silis wouldn’t want you in there.


* Hiei lifts up to look down at Minoro, crossing his arms across his chest.


Hiei- Because he’s afraid of me, too?

Minoro- It’s a.. maternal instinct.. Some males pregnate others just so they can eat their babies.


* Hiei scowls, then looks off toward his children who are chasing and scuffling not far away. Before he can answer he notices a portal forming.


Hiei- I’m not a baby eater, ‘Noro.

Minoro- We know.. It’s just that.. at times like this..


* Minoro looks toward the strong aura that suddenly appears nearby.


Minoro- Common sense takes a.. back seat..


* Koenma looks around then notices Hiei when the Koorime raises up onto his knees.


Koenma- Oh, there you are..


* The Teen hurries over.


Koenma- Hiei, I..


* Koenma takes notice of Hiei’s position when the apparition growls.


Koenma- Oh. I’m sorry.. Is this a bad..?


* He looks toward the cave when a loud cry of pain emits.


Hiei- I thought I told you to mind your own..

Koenma- Hiei, this is iomportant.. I’m having difficulties with a spirit.. that happens to be one of your mates.

Hiei- Explain.


* Hiei stands up off of Minoro. The Hyena sits up to listen quietly.


Koenma- Ever since my last.. failure.. I’ve had all of your mates’ folders tagged.. The one named Gamaru has become most adamant about wanting to pass on..


* They glance toward the cave again.


Koenma- That’s not..

Hiei- No.. That one is Silis. He’s giving birth.

Koenma- Oh yes.. He’s the other one I came to speak to you about.


* Hiei and Koenma look down and around when they suddenly notice that the ‘intruder’ has garnered some other attention.


Koenma- You do seem to be starting your own..

Hiei- State your business quickly. I don’t think they like you.


* Koenma looks up at Hiei.


Koenma- Gamaru wants to cease his existance..

Hiei- Gamaru gave birth to three babies.. Two were stillborn.


* Koenma nods.


Koenma- I know.. I’m afraid I couldn’t prevent that since they perished before birth.. But I could.. redirect those two spirits.


* Hiei tilts his head.


Koenma- When demons have multiple babies it’s not uncommon for the weakest to cease..

Hiei- Survival of the fittest.

Koenma- Correct.. When Gamaru lost two I knew it would be traumatic on him..

Hiei- Hence his wanting to cease.


* Koenma glances downward again when Tanto sniffs at his leg. Hiei gives the boy a gentle nudge with a foot.


Hiei- No you can’t eat him.. yet.


* Koenma scowls at Hiei.


Koenma- I’ve come here to help you..

Hiei- Why?

Koenma- Because I still consider you a friend, Hiei.

Hiei- Bulls---.. You know where my path is leading and you wish to keep on my good side.


* Hiei silently wonders at his own words as he crosses his arms. The expression that crosses Koenma’s face tells him that he’s hit the target, though.


Koenma- That’s only a small part..

Hiei- Get to your point, Junior.

Koenma- What I’ve done is placed one of those babies' spirits in the one called Silis. The other in your female D’Tara.. Both of them had unborns that were near ceasing.

Hiei- Why interfere with these two and not the ones that my Kitsune lost?


* Koenma sighs deeply.


Koenma- It’s a different situation for Kitsunes.. Their fates are ruled by.. someone else.

Hiei- I’m not interested in Dieity politics, Koenma!

Koenma- It wouldn’t hurt your.. path.. to be a little more.. sociable with the Powers in charge.

Hiei- All of you can relax.. I have no desire to rule anything.. except my own pack.

Koenma- You’re conflicted. I can understand why you..

Hiei- My children are getting hungry.


* Koenma glances downward again.


Koenma- Your mind is preoccuppied with a lot..

Hiei- Hn.

Koenma- Then what should I do about Gamaru?

Hiei- What can you do?

Koenma- I can’t keep refusing to accept his spirit.. The struggle is killing his body. If his body dies and I haven’t accepted his spirit it’ll just disappear into oblivion.


* Hiei looks away toward the cave, then moves back to sit down on the table. Koenma feels a nibble on one of his ankles and gently pushes Sarhi away. Hiei hears the little boy growl and looks back up at Koenma.


Hiei(Quietly)- Accept it.


* Minoro looks up at Hiei surprised, but he senses the strain the decision has placed on his Alpha. Hiei reacts to his inner turmoil rather angrily.


Hiei- And from now on I’m not wanting any favors from you.. Or anyone else!

Koenma- Hiei,..

Hiei- I’m going to accept my path.. But I won’t do it oweing anything to you, Spirit World,.. or anyone else..! If this is my destiny.. It is mine alone.


* Koenma suckles his pacifier quietly a few moments. Hiei growls a little louder.


Hiei- I meant every d--- word! Now get out of my Territory!


* Koenma decides that it’s best to back off. He can feel the anguish radiating off of Hiei. When the Prince disappears back into his portal Minoro swallows and moves up to kneel between Hiei’s legs.


Minoro- Master,..?

Hiei- I don’t need Spirit World!

Minoro- You’re just stressed right now.


* Hiei shifts his attention back to Minoro. He gives no protest when the boy opens his cloak and begins to continue the ‘distracting’. Another scream from the cave makes Hiei close his eyes and wonder how many lives his decision has just affected.


Minoro- So you’ve finally made up your mind?


* Hiei looks down at Minoro, knowing exactly what he’s referring to.


Hiei- Hn.

Minoro- When will you make your intentions official?


* Hiei lifts a hand to grasp a handful of Minoro’s shaggy, mud-colored hair gently. Using the contact to center and calm himself.


Hiei- I think I already have.


* He curbs anymore questions by guiding the Hyena’s mouth back to his bared chest. He relaxes and leans back on his hands as Minoro’s mouth makes its way lower down his abdomen. It only takes an encouraging moan from Hiei to embolden the boy to continue. When Minoro dives down to nuzzle his flaccid member Hiei closes his mind off to everything but the talented mouth that’s distracting him.
