Scene 2
Scene 2 ---------- The Main Barrier
* Hiei skids to a stop, peers through the barrier, but sees nothing. Kumataro comes over.
Kumataro- Master?
Hiei- Cou said a big bug was coming.
Small Muffled Voice- Big.. Yes.. Big, big ugly bug.
* Hiei looks around then up at Kuma. Coutaro finally reaches them.
Hiei- Losing your voice, Kuma?
Kumataro- It wasn’t me, sir.
* Kumataro motions down toward one of Hiei’s feet. When Hiei follows the direction he’s pointing he finds several small, furry demons surrounding the foot that’s partially covering one of them. Hiei lifts his foot with a scowl.
Hiei- Hamsters.. Nogooki, take your other form so I can talk to you, d--- it.
* The pack leader quickly morphs into a midget-sized, furry humanoid form that’s about the height of his shoulders.
Hiei- Now, what’s this all about?
Nogooki- I told you. It was a really big, black, ugly bug.. It destroyed nearly my whole Territory!
Hiei- A Grasshopper demon could stroll through your territory and destroy it, Rodent.
* Just then Kumataro looks away and motions.
Kumataro- Sir, Barkolo is requesting entrance.
* Hiei looks and notices the Wolf pack alpha tapping on the barrier rather urgently.
Hiei- Hn. Let him in.
* Kumataro concentrates to open a sliver of the barrier in front of Barkolo. When the Wolf demon spots Hiei he hurries over.
Barkolo- Sir, she’s here!
Hiei- She?
Barkolo- Lord Mukuro’s fortress has come to a stop in my Territory.
Hiei- Alaric?
Nogooki- Big, ugly bug!
* Barkolo nods.
Hiei- Alright! Everyone just calm down.. Show me where it’s parked, Barkolo.
Coutaro- Sir,..?
Hiei- No. You all stay here. She won’t do anything to harm me.
Barkolo- She’s come to demand tribute!
Hiei- She’s not going to demand a d--- thing from me.. She should know better.. Just take me there.
* Barkolo nods and takes off. Hiei shakes his head and follows.
