Thanks for the reviews, SkyaraSnow and Tachi. I guess I must be doing something right to keep a few readers around still. Trust me, this series is far from over.. unless it starts to become boring and starts lacking any reviews. I'm always a little nervous about my lemon scenes, not sure if they're good enough. There's plenty of them spaced throughout, but this story has become more than just about the sex. I hope, lol. :o)

Scene 2 –--------- Sylk’s Holding Room
* When Hiei enters he isn’t surprised to find Sylk pacing angrily with her black tail lashing behind her in time to her stride. She turns to glare at him. The Koorime faces her unphased. This angers the Panther demoness even more. She lifts one of her hands and unsheathes her long, sharp claws.
Sylk- There’s something I need to remind you of, Little Boy.. Panthers aren’t monogamous.
* She stalks up closer to glare down at him.
Sylk- I could kill you.. and it wouldn’t harm me in the least.
* She sneers hungrily at him.
Hiei- Perhaps it’s you that needs reminded of something,.. Pussy.
* Sylk snarls. Before she can attack, though, Hiei releases his full energy. Just the force of it knocks her backward. She lands in a crouch and shields her eyes until Hiei contains himself once more. She lowers her arm to eye the Koorime with a somewhat more respectful expression.
Hiei- I’m an S Class.. What are you?
* Sylk sighs then relaxes to sit and lowers her eyes.
Sylk- Royally screwed.
* Hiei can’t help but smirk.
Hiei- We can discuss that possibility later.. I want to feel your full power.
* She glances up at him perturbed.
Sylk- That’s not.. proper.
Hiei- What?
* Sylk scrunches her brows as she hugs one of her knees.
Sylk- It’s not proper for a female of my species.. Well, of most species, to.. display in front of her.. male.
Hiei- But it is acceptible to kill him? Your brain is what’s screwed up, Woman.. Is that how you rid yourself of your first mate?
* Sylk’s yellow-green eyes flash as she glares up at him.
Sylk- My Tsetsuya was my treasure! I adored him!
* Hiei relaxes, but remains vigilant.
Hiei- We both seem to rub each other the wrong way.
Sylk- Is that your pathetic way of apologizing?
Hiei- I never apologize for being right.
* Sylk hisses.
Hiei- How did your mate pass on?
* She lowers her eyes. Hiei lifts his bandana to reveal his jagan.
Hiei- If you’d rather not speak it I have another way of.. finding out.
Hiei- I know of them. They’re pretty crafty types.
Sylk- Hai.. Tset was that.. I grew up in.. his Alpha’s pack.. None of us were all that surprised when he beat my.. err.. Mammaru to claim his position.. But I was surprised when he chose me to be his mate.. Naturally, we fought and I learned firsthand about his cunningness and skill with plant manipulations.
Hiei- Then you should be happy to know that the sire of the baby you’re carrying is very skilled with plants.
* Sylk looks back up at Hiei.
Sylk- That Kitsune means nothing to me!
Hiei- Well I call him friend.. And I intend on making sure that all of his and Yusuke’s offspring are well taken care of.. Your daughter Eboni had the same procedure done to her.
* Now Sylk growls and stands to her feet again.
Sylk- What?! That son of a b---- told me he wouldn’t harm my Eboni if I co-operated!!
Hiei- The girl is.. physically unharmed.. But she’s wearing the same kind of ward you were.
Sylk- Remove it from her!
Hiei- I intend to remove the wards from all of them. Then we’re going back to my.. village.. Come, we’ll have plenty of time to talk as we travel.
Sylk- You do realize that once we’re outside of this sesspool my pack and I will be returning to our own home.
* Hiei pulls his ward back down over his closing jagan.
Hiei- And you call me a liar.
* Sylk scowls. Hiei turns and leads her out of the room.
Hiei- I took the liberty of scanning you while you were rambling.. While it’s true that Panthers aren’t monogamous, once they are dominatly claimed.. As I unwittingly have done to you.. They can’t be seperated too far from him while they’re pregnant.
* Sylk crosses her arms and casts a glare toward Dagon who is waiting in the aisle.
Sylk- You have a real bad memory. This baby isn’t yours, Idiot.
* Hiei ignores her remark as he moves to open one of the other doors. She watches him motion, then a younger, near version of herself with red-tinted striaght black hair comes out sniffing around timidly.
Sylk- Eboni!
Eboni- Mother!
* Eboni hurries over into Sylk’s arms. As they embrace Sylk senses something and leans Eboni’s head to the left.
Eboni- Ow, Momma.. It’s still sore.
* Sylk glares at Hiei again.
Sylk- You claimed my daughter?! You filthy..!
Eboni- Mother, don’t.. He just bit me.. nothing else.. I’m p-pregnant, Mother. I had no choice.. I’m going to need someone to take care of me.
Sylk- I will.
* Eboni smiles weakly, then hides her face against Sylk’s rounded belly.
Eboni- Master Hiei has been.. very nice to me.
* Sylk closes her eyes and embraces Eboni tighter. Her duagther is too young to fully grasp the situation yet. The serenity of the reunion doesn’t last long until Sylk glares at Hiei again.
Sylk- What have you done with the other..?!
Hiei- They’re all four here.
Sylk- Four..?
* Sylk pauses to calculate a moment.
Sylk- There were eight of us.. captured altogether.. I had another daughter and.. my baby boy..
* Hiei pinches the bridge of his nose.
Hiei- Fine.. I’ll give you one hour to search this building for your others.. If you don’t find them then we’ll have to leave.. I want to be on my way by high noon.
* Hiei motions and Dagon releases the other four females that he’s marked also.
Sylk- Remove their wards!
Hiei- I’ll do that when you report to me at the main gate by noon.
* He moves past Sylk, reaching out to brush his hand down Eboni’s thick hair. Sylk growls but, again, it doesn’t phase the Koorime.
Hiei- She’s my mate. If I want to I’ll touch her anytime I please.. One hour, cat.. Dagon, you’ll assist them.
* Sylk watches Hiei leave. Dagon motions.
Dagon- Come on, let’s get busy, Ladies.
* Sylk barely glances toward Dagon, then checks the rest of what’s left of her pack. Then they all hurry out and scatter. Dagon shakes his head but decides he’d better stay near Sylk and Eboni.
