*One-shot*

The fire crackled sending several sparks into the night air. It made the deep green eyes open for a slight minute before he went back to meditating. The feel of nature around him was relaxing, soothing to the soul. He’d decided he needed a break from all the pressure of home life. A month ago Keiko and Yusuke had gotten married. Now everyone was dead set on setting him up so he could settle down. Even his own mother was hounding him about finding a girlfriend. He kept giving them the excuse that he just hadn’t found the right one for him and in truth he hadn’t. A big part of that was, he wasn’t into females. As beautiful as Keiko and Shizuru were he didn’t find them sexually appealing. While he’d been into both sexes as Youko, he seemed to prefer just males as Shuichi.

He wouldn’t do that to himself or an innocent person. To force himself to live a lie was too much. Being constantly set up on blind dates had stressed him out. Some of the females were decent company but most tended to be annoying and clingy. Last week he’d told them all that he was taking some time off to head on a camping trip. Kuwabara and Yusuke had tried to invite themselves but he preferred to come alone. This was something he needed to unwind and enjoy some time alone.

An owl hooted in the distance as he got up to fetch something cold to drink. The cooler was full of beer, soft drinks and milk. Soon he’d have to fix himself some dinner. The small grill was sitting in the back of his truck still. Genkai had informed him of this spot that was perfect for camping. The small cabin didn’t consist of much just a double bed, kitchen, a table and bathroom. There was no means of running water so he had to get his supply from the small brook not too far away. He’d gotten up here after noon having left out at dawn. The road had been bumpy and overgrown but was well worth the trip. It was beautiful out here surrounded by nothing except nature.

The sound of a shot rang out in the distance making him pause. The loud bang echoed again in the distance and he scanned the area. He was still on Genkai’s property so he should be alone. True a few lower class youkai sometimes roamed the area but they wouldn’t have a fire arm. No hunting was allowed on her property. Putting the cold beer down he made sure the fire wasn’t going to go anywhere before heading out. If someone was hunting then he’d have to ask them to leave.

The trip through the woods took only a few minutes before he heard another shot being fired. This time the bullet hit a tree branch a few feet away from his head. He wasn’t sure if the person was trying to aim for him or not. The aura of several low class youkai could be felt in the area. Jumping off the branch he sped towards the source. There had to be about six youkai in the small clearing. The distinct human smell came to him on the wind. What was a human doing this far out in the woods?

A scream made the birds fly into the darkness as another shot rang out. Kurama scanned the situation before deciding on what to do. A human male was facing away from him bleeding from several wounds. Five of the youkai were still standing around him ready to attack. The slim man fell to his knees making two of the others rush him. That many against one was never a good sign. Moving from behind the tree, he withdrew the whip. They hit the ground as he landed beside the fallen man. The death of their friends made the other youkai pause. Kurama turned to them, “It would be unwise for you to continue on this course of action. Leave now if you do not want to end up like your friends.”

They took off without sparing their downed comrades another glance. A hand grabbed his ankle as the man on the ground stirred. The coppery scent of blood surrounded them. Leaning down he took the gun out of the man’s grip. He wasn’t willing to shot because the man was out of it. The remaining ammunition was withdrawn and tossed aside. He stuck the weapon in his belt before turning the male over. Disbelief filled him seeing the pale face for the first time. How was the man still alive? Hiei had stated that he’d killed the boy. Having seen the boy up close before there was no mistaking who was laying at his feet. “Sniper?”

The only answer came in a soft moan of pain. Kurama was tempted to allow him just to remain and bleed to death but his conscious wouldn’t let him do it. Perhaps he was getting soft from being in his human form. The man weighed almost nothing as he was pulled over his shoulder. The trip back to the campsite took less time as he raced. Everything was just as he’d left it.

Walking inside the cabin he placed Sniper on the bed before going to heat up some water. None of the wounds smelt fatal but a lot of blood had been lost. As the kettle heated, the stained and torn clothing was removed. How many had been on him? The boy was lucky to be alive with all the wounds. Next, an ointment was prepared that would be applied to help with the healing process.

Kurama washed the gashes and cuts while the man slept. More water was boiling to make tea. With any luck he’d be able to get the boy to drink some herbs that would help him rest more peacefully. The worst wound was on his thigh, very close to the artery. It took stitching to get it to close properly. The salve was applied after it was finished and then bandaged. A few bruises was on the slim chest and stomach but those would heal in time.

Once the man was patched up and resting without thrashing Kurama took the grill out of the truck and placed it on the porch. Something complicated and involved was out of the question now. Searching through his canned supplies, he found a can of beef stew. While that was heating, he found clean clothes to change into. His stomach growled smelling the food beginning to warm. He doubted he’d get any sleep tonight. What kind of reception would the man give him upon waking?

Kaname moaned as the dull ache in his thigh brought him out of sleep. Was he dead? He had to be and he was in hell. He’d been attacked in woods by over a dozen youkai. The things had come out of nowhere. He hadn’t long came from visiting a friend and went through the mountains and woods to bypass the city. His motorcycle had started acting up which forced him to stop on that stretch of woods. He was sure he’d passed out from blood loss and there had been several more of those bastards standing around him.

The smell of food cooking made his stomach pinch. Damn he was hungry. Which meant he was still alive. His eyes opened and the bright light made him wince in pain. Movement came from his right, so he wasn’t alone. Who had chanced upon him? A blanket was covering his naked form and his wounds had been tended to. “Where am I?” His throat was dry and cracked as he spoke.

“Safe for now. How do you feel? You’ve been sleeping for two days.” Kurama stirred the sauce as the boy tried to sit up. Violet eyes opened as the after effects of sleep were shaken off. The sun was beginning to set once more. The rice was already done, he was just waiting on the meat to simmer. The raven head turned to him finally.

“Shit.” Kaname couldn’t believe his luck. Out of all the people that could have found him, why did it have to be someone he’d once considered an enemy? The fox ignored the outburst and turned back to towards the grill. It had to be a grill from the smell coming from just outside the door. The man had set it up right next to the opening so he could see inside the cabin. Not like he was going to attack him in this condition. Had the redhead been the one to save him? Why would the man interfere? Most in the fox’s position would have watched him die while smiling. It would serve him right.

“If you feel up to eating the food will be done in a few minutes. Before you eat I need to check your bandages again.” Kurama put the spoon down seeing as the man wasn’t going to bother answering him. Dinner would be fine for a few minutes while he tended to the man. The only wound that still hadn’t healed was the gash in the thigh. “If you’ll lie back and hold still I’ll get this done quickly.”

“Why bother? Why did you even bother to save me?” He leaned back in the bed anyways. He had to admit that his thigh was throbbing. One of the youkai had managed to stab him in the fight. The cover was pulled back from his waist to expose the injured leg. He was glad he didn’t have a problem with modesty. The man had a small jar in his hand and wet rag. While the fox cleaned off the old ointment Kaname let his eyes travel over the other male. The face was almost too feminine but attractive. The large green eyes were very stunning but were dull in comparison to the two parted lips. He almost pointed out that the man was nervously chewing on the soft pink plush bottom lip as the fox worked. “Anyone ever tell you that you’re too pretty for a man?”

“Yes, has anyone told you that you are blunt?” Kurama smiled as he winced when the wound was probed. It was healing nicely and would leave only a small scar. He knew he was very feminine in features. It didn’t bother him that Sniper seemed to be scrutinizing him. He’d done his own inspecting while bathing the man several times. The man had a lean body but was well toned. It was a little on the under nourished side as well. Where had he been for the last four years? The only thing that wasn’t thin on the man was the flaccid member. A small blush crept in his cheeks as his eyes strayed to the object of his thoughts.

Kaname saw the man blush and where his eyes had strayed to. A smirk crossed his face as the fox looked away. It wasn’t surprising that the man’s tastes ran that way. If anything it made things all the more interesting. One of the reasons he’d followed Sensui was due to Itsuki. While it had been the former spirit detective’s speech and way with words that had talked him into joining, it was Itsuki he’d stayed for. It had gotten him nowhere since the youkai had been in love with Sensui. Though he had to admit that Kurama was more attractive than the other man. “How does it look?”

“Nice,” Kurama answered before thinking. He didn’t rebuke the statement but finished putting the salve on. If the man was aware of him staring then he didn’t appear to be upset over it. Of course if it had been Kuwabara or Yusuke they’d have flipped knowing he’d been ogling their cock. “It will leave a scar but you should be able to walk by tomorrow.”

“Is that your way of politely telling me to be on my way?” Kaname looked around the small cabin and noticed the lack of furniture. At least it had a bathroom from what he could see. It was clean and was keeping the weather out. There was only one bed so where had the man slept the last two nights?

“No, you may stay as long as you wish. As long as I don’t have to worry about you attacking me when my back is turned. I assure you that it will not do you any good but ensure that I finish what those others started. I went against good judgement and spared you, don’t make me regret it.” Kurama left him on the bed to turn the food off and prepare dinner. He originally had plans to stay at least a week, perhaps two if things were going well. Now he wasn’t sure how long he’d be staying.

Kaname wondered if he could make it to the bathroom without the man’s assistance. The fox was outside messing with something from the sounds of it. A wave of dizziness swarmed him as he sat up. It quickly dissipated giving him the courage to try getting up. The need to relieve his bladder forced him to fight off the lightheadedness. The first hint of pressure on the leg made him wince. He’d have to wobble on over if he was to go.

“What are you doing?” Kurama set the cooler down as the man paused to glance at him. A finger pointed to the restroom. “Sorry, I should have thought about that. Let me help you. Keep the weight off your leg so you don’t reopen the wound. It went into the muscle, it needs time to heal.”

The fox went to his side, placing an arm around his slim waist. He almost snapped as the man took most of his weight. He wasn’t an invalid. Instead of protesting he took the help and made it to the bathroom. As they made it to the makeshift toilet he couldn’t suppress the grin. “Want to hold it for me?”

“Not for you to urinate. Call for me when you are through.” Kurama backed out and closed the door. While the man took care of his needs, he saw to bringing the rest of the supplies in. He wasn’t sure what Sniper would prefer to drink but he had an assortment of things now. While the man had slept he’d headed into town to fetch a few things. More ice had been placed in both coolers. The smallest one contained the drinks and he had the food in the largest. That was placed in the corner along with a few brown bags. He didn’t dare ask the man when was the last time he’d received a decent meal.

Kaname opened the door to see the redhead digging through a bag. An assortment of plastic silverware was taken out along with paper plates. The food smelt good making him remember how long it’d been since he’d eaten anything. Kurama put the utensils down on the wooden table and helped him back over to the bed. He remained in a sitting position as the fox pulled the table next to the bed. “You don’t have to do this for me.”

“There would be no sense for me to go through the trouble of saving your life just to let you die of starvation. Besides there is plenty and I don’t mind the company. It wasn’t what I was expecting when I came up here on vacation but I’ll make do.” Kurama stepped outside long enough to take the food back in. The breeze was nice so he left the door open for now. He handed Sniper a plate and eating utensils, “Help yourself.”

“Thanks.” He opened the first pot to find rice. The smell made his mouth water but he refrained from drooling all over his host’s food. Some was scooped upon the plate as the fox went to the cooler. An assortment of drink was called out for him to chose from. He asked for a beer as he placed the pot back down.

Kurama placed the can on the table and watched the man fix the plate. It was more food than he could have consumed in two sittings but he wasn’t going to deny the man. Plenty had been prepared knowing Sniper would be famished. At least he had some manners and waited for him before starting to eat. He fixed himself a small plate and sat down on the one chair they had. “Please eat as much as you’d like. You’ll need to get your strength back up.”

Kurama groaned as he rolled over in the bed. The sound of the rain beating against the roof woke him up. The man next to him didn’t stir as he leaned up on his elbow. The air had gotten slightly chilly during the night. Reaching down he grabbed the blanket sitting along the foot. Sniper was shivering slightly as the cover was placed over him. Kurama laid back down making sure to keep some distance between them. Would the man leave tomorrow? He’d been here for a week now and his leg was completely healed. Nothing was keeping him here since Sniper was able to walk without it causing him much pain.

He snuggled against the pillow and searched the sleeping face for answers. The boy had been civil most of the time. Only when the past was brought up had he caught the smallest amount of an attitude. Despite all that Kurama had enjoyed the company. They were no longer on opposite teams. The only problem was that the fox found himself extremely attracted to the stoic boy. Yesterday they’d walked to the brook to bathe. While nothing inappropriate had happened , it hadn’t helped the perverted thoughts running rampant in his mind. There was no denying the fact that he lusted after his former enemy. It would serve nothing but he wanted the man. Though he had no idea just what side of the fence Sniper liked to play on.

His ogling wasn’t taken harshly, neither was his obvious appreciation for his patient. The man had just smiled when he’d turned while bathing to see the erection Kurama couldn’t hide. It made him wonder if the man would accept his advances. There was no objection to sharing the bed at night. Which really didn’t prove anything since he’d shared a bed with Kuwabara before and the man was as homophobic as they came. Perhaps the man was aware of it and it didn’t bother him one way or another since he hadn’t made an attempt to force himself upon the man.

“You know in most cases it is rude to stare.” Kaname smiled when the man nodded in agreement. He’d woken up before the fox but just didn’t feel like moving. He was glad for the cover but the man had gotten to it first. He wasn’t sure how the man wasn’t cold wearing just a pair of white boxers. The jeans he’d borrowed left him being chilled from the cool air. The smallest amount of light was coming from the window. It was enough to see the man watching him. What was he thinking about? If he had to guess the man was debating on what to do. Shockingly the man hadn’t made a move on him yet. Was it because he was unsure of his own sexuality or the response he’d get? The man had to know that he’d be more than willing to fuck him. Every morning he’d woken up with an erection. Of course the fox was usually up and making breakfast.

“I apologize.” Kurama went on his back and looked up at the ceiling. He didn’t care to be caught staring. The man had to be questioning his intentions now. Luckily the hard bulge in his boxers hadn’t been noticed yet. The bed dipped as the man moved. Kurama was well aware of every movement as Sniper got on his knees. Every movement was slow but steady until hands rested beside his shoulders. The man was gauging his reactions to make sure he wouldn’t protest to the close contact. “What are you doing?”

“The way I see it, for some reason you won’t initiate it. So unless you decide to kick my ass, I plan on fucking you.” Kaname held himself over the man’s chest and waited. Either the man would accept it or tell him no. If he was guessing right then his touch was welcome. Seconds went by and the redhead didn’t speak. Patience was never his thing. He lowered his head and captured the parted lips in a hot kiss. The mouth opened eagerly under his prying tongue.

Kurama felt heat rush to his groin as the boy ravaged his mouth. The man knew how to kiss. The tongue dipped further inside to entice his own to participate. A hand left the bed to reach between them. His breath caught as the hand squeezed around the aching shaft. The fingers stroked it through the thin cotton making his hips leave the mattress.

“I take that as a yes.” Kaname pulled away from the hot mouth. The cock twitched in his palm, pressing into the touch. The fox was more than ready for attention. His own member jerked in response. Delicate hands pulled the boxers down for him. The erection sprang free for him to explore. Grinning he moved down the man’s chest until his mouth was even with the weeping tip.

Kurama moaned as the satiny feel of Sniper’s tongue brushed across the tip of his cock. The pink muscle teased as it licked up the pre-cum. Hands went into the raven locks as it was pushed into the tiny slit. His hips left the bed wanting to feel more of the mouth. Lips slid down the underside, kissing the thick vein. The touch was torture as it was suckled on hard. The minute the mouth enclosed around his shaft he bucked into the hot cavern. “Oh yeah, that feels good.”

Kaname took more than half into his mouth and relaxed his throat. The fox was trying to gag him by pushing his head down. His hand gripped the base as his mouth pleased his soon to be lover. The creamy pale thighs parted for him and the knees raised. He knew an invitation when he saw one. The throbbing cock was released as he worked his way to the twin sacs. The fox moaned as he took one into his mouth.

Kurama almost cried out as the tension mounted. The mouth left his balls to lower between his parted thighs. There was no hesitation as the rough hands pried the soft ass cheeks apart. Reaching down he held his legs apart as the tongue ran over the puckered entrance. It was hot and wet as the tongue lapped at the tight ring. His cock twitched as a fingertip was felt rubbing along his opening. It didn’t surprise him that the man would take upon the seme role. While he was the stronger of the two, Sniper’s personality was more domineering. As the saliva coated finger began to push past the tight ring he knew he could live with this role.

The tight sheath clung to his finger as he slowly moved it within the other man. Once the fox was accustomed to the invader he added another. The man was moaning as he scissored the fingers in the hole. His mouth kissed the hanging sac while stretching and preparing his lover. As much as he wanted to take his time and enjoy every moment, he was about to burst from excitement. He had to watch the man all week, waiting for Kurama to decide if he was willing to become intimate with a former enemy. “Do you have anything we can use?”

“Yes, I can get it if you wish.” Kurama didn’t want to get up but moved when the man climbed off the bed. While Sniper undressed he went for his duffel bag and retrieved some oil. He’d brought it knowing he might get the urge to pleasure himself. Now he was glad he’d come prepared. The bottle was taken out of his hand as he took up his former position. He was shocked that the man poured it on his own aching cock first. The hand rubbed the oil over the length making him whine with need.

Once the fox was thrusting into his hand he released the cock and went to his own. The oil was warm as it was spread over his shaft. The legs parted as he positioned the tip against the puckered ring. He didn’t enter until he was hovering over the man’s body. He captured the man’s mouth in a long kiss. The hips moved trying to apply pressure against the awaiting passage. With an audible sound he pushed past the muscle and deep within the hot sheath.

Kurama closed his eyes as the man moved slowly. He’d only had sex once in his human form with a stranger he’d met in a bar. The proof was in the way the man was stretching him to the point it was painful. A shudder ran through the shoulders under his fingertips. His fingers ran along the man’s arms urging him to continue. The oil was making it easy for him to push deeper. A startled gasp escaped as the cock brushed across his sweet spot. The feeling was intense and almost sent him over the edge.

The tight walls wrapped around his cock like a vise making him want to cum. Kaname tried to hold on as the man clenched him as he brushed across his prostate. His hand reached between them to find the dripping cock. He began stroking it in time with his own slow thrusts. Each time he buried himself he made sure to hit the area making the fox cry out.

“Oh gods, I’m going to cum.” Kurama felt the heat rush as the hand pumped his cock fast. The assault on his spot was too much as the cock began to thrust hard and fast. Intense waves of pleasure couldn’t be stopped as he was rode without care. The thrill added into the white heat as his peak crashed, taking him over. His cock pulsed as the thick stream of semen burst from the aching length.

The walls contracted around his own member as the fox began to release. The pressure made his own begin. He let the orgasm consume him as Kurama came down from his. The ass tightened around him as he came. The penetration didn’t stop until every last drop was spent deep inside his lover. With one final thrust he collapsed onto the heaving chest under him. The warm skin pressed into his cheek, “Sorry, it’s been too long.”

“Hmph, I am not complaining. Besides, I still have a week left of my vacation. I could spend it up here if you don’t have any urgent matters to attend to.” Kurama smiled as the man nodded against his chest. Now that the invitation was accepted he wouldn’t have to worry about time at the moment. What would happen after he returned to his job and family was another matter. He’d deal with that when the time came. For now he was content to explore this new opportunity. It was best to let things happened as they will.
