Hiei's Harem - Pt. 10 - Initiating

Tachi - Wow, I think that's the longest review I've ever got, lol. Now, first off, I hope I'm not updating too quickly for you or anyone else. Believe it or not I've had complaints that I update too fast. (shrugs) As far as the babies, they're all Hiei's.. at least the ones that have been born so far. There will be other babies, but be patient on those, please. Let me just say, that if I don't give something in complete detail it usually means that it'll be explained as the story progresses. Something to keep you intrigued, maybe. Concerning Darieth's son, yes. He has deceased. I just didn't really want to include a scene that described the goriness of a pack of rat demons tearing the boy to pieces. Darieth's fate will be dealt with in the future. As one of my other reviewers has stated, this is Demon World and it's not always a pretty place. (Hope you're feeling better, btw) What happened in Matsua's complex will be made clearer as the story progresses. It'll be almost a byline of sorts that Yusuke and Kurama will deal with when they rejoin the plot. Not going to give anything away. :o)

kyokohina - Don't fret. The story will get all the characters back together. It's all part of the plot and that's all I'm saying so I won't give too much away. Thanks for reading and reviewing. :o)

POH - As I stated with Tachi, what happened in there will be explained more as the story continues. As far as the other Alpha Female, Sylk. Trust me, she is all female, lol. As Hiei will soon learn. Oops, did I say too much :oX (LOL)

On with the story then, shall we? Here's a nice long scene for you. :oD Please continue to send me your thoughts of where you think things might be heading. It thrills me when my readers give me their input.

Scene 15 ---------- Three Days Later


* Shironji is relaxing, unseen, on a shelf inside the guard post next to the main gate. When he feels a presence approaching he checks the blade that he was cleaning. Finding it satisfactory he stands to look up at the guard nearby who is scanning the area with a pair of binoculars. Shironji casts another glance toward the guard who is sleeping in a chair propped in a far corner. With skilled quickness the Ninjini leaps up and uses his small, but sharp blade to slash the observing guard's throat. In a poof, the second guard is dispatched in like manner. Shironji moves back to look out the window and waits until he sees the dark shadow take the form of his Master. Hiei moves calmly toward the closed gates. Shironji blinks over to dropkick the button that will open the large metal doors then poofs outside to greet Hiei as he enters.


Shironji- Have a pleasant journey, Master?

Hiei- Let's get this over with so I can get back to my pack.


* Shironji gives Hiei the brief layout of the compound, motioning toward the various buildings. When he's done Hiei motions toward an apartment-type building.


Hiei- So Matsua's living in that building?

Shironji- Hai. Dagon is there with him having lunch.


* Hiei looks around again.


Hiei- The d--- place looks deserted.

Shironji- Matsua hasn't been attacked for so long that he's become lax with his security. Most of his staff are working in the various holding buildings.

Hiei- Hn. Good. I'll make this quick as soon as Dagon joins us.


* Hiei closes his true eyes and his jagan begins to glow behind the bandana. In Matsua's quarters he and Dagon are indeed having lunch. As soon as Hiei's voice breaks into his mind Dagon looks up at Matsua grinning.


(#) Hiei- Bring the b------ out here and let's get this over with.

Matsua- Is there a problem, Dagon?


* The Crow shakes his head.


(#) Dagon- It's good to hear from you again, Master. I'll bring him right out.


* Dagon focuses on Matsua who is watching him curiously.


Dagon- You've been so bummed since Kuchki's passing that I've planned a surprise for you. I think it's ready.

Matsua- A surprise? Where?

Dagon- Outside.


* Matsua hesitates.


Matsua- I'm not in any mood for games, Dagon.

Dagon- You trust me, right?

Matsua- Of course I do.


* Matsua sighs and lets Dagon lead him outside then up the paved path. As soon as they turn onto the main road and head toward the front gate Matsua spots the short, dark demon standing there.


Matsua- What the..?


* Matsua stops and looks at Dagon.


Matsua- What's he doing here?

Dagon- You know him?


* Having heard the exchange, Hiei sets his face into a stern scowl and starts walking towards them.


Hiei- Matsua.


* Dagon gives Matsua an innocent shrug when the large demon looks toward him again.


Dagon- He said he had some business with you.


* Matsua looks back down at Hiei when he stops directly in front of him.


Matsua- Look if this is about the Mazoku and that Youko Kitsune, Koenma and I settled it.


* Hiei coolly raises his eyes up to meet Matsua's He steadily begins to release his energy.


Hiei- Those two were my friends, too.

Matsua- Were..? I didn't kill them!

Hiei- You'll soon be glad that you didn't. Now I can happily give you your death as quickly as possible without regrets.


* Matsua takes a couple steps back. When he looks at Dagon again, the Crow shrugs. He then moves aside when Hiei waves a hand toward him.


Matsua- Dagon?!


* The scheme slowly dawns on Matsua when Dagon crosses his arms to indicate that he's not going to give him any assistance.


Matsua- You set me..!


* Hiei blurs toward Matsua. Dagon's eyes watch every single swing of his Master's katana as it slices through the large demon. Matsua's mouth falls open as his body twitches with each hit until finally the last stroke makes his head roll end over bloody end. The Crow stops it with one of his feet casually as he, Hiei, and Shironji watch the rest of Matsua's body explode into dust. When the air clears everything is silent until Hiei suddenly leaps away, spins on his free arm, and lands in a crouch facing a shadow. Dagon's senses tingle and he just manages to open his wings and leap into the air when the fake head explodes. The force sends Dagon backward a few feet, but he remains unharmed due to Shironji's quick raising of a barrier. Hiei straightens up, keeping all three of his glaring eyes on the shadow.


Hiei- Hn.. An Illusionary demon.. I've faced your kind before.


* The shadow disappears, but Hiei's jagan follows its movements. Outwardly, though, he sweeps his head from side to side as if he's perplexed. He even growls.


Hiei- D--- it! Show yourself, you coward!


* Hiei continues looking all around to give Matsua his own illusion of panic. The jagan watches the invisible demon leap into the air and begin to descend upon Hiei. At the last moment the Koorime twirls his katana then positions it straight up into the air, summoning his dark flames into it. He shields his face with his left arm and Dagon looks away from the immensely bright flash of light that sweeps out over the area like an atomic cloud. When everything is calm and still once more Hiei keeps his katana, enveloped in the black flames, ready until his jagan relaxes and closes. Dagon feels the barrier disappear.


Dagon- Thanks, Shironji.

Shironji- Don't mention it.


* Dagon floats down to land beside Hiei. The Koorime looks toward the other demons that begin to filter out of the various buildings.


Dagon- Matsua's staff.. All lower class demons.


* Shironji blinks down onto Hiei's shoulder.


Shironji- They were all enslaved to Matsua the same as Dagon is connected to you.


* Dagon glances toward Shironji.


Dagon- Don't mention it.


* Hiei ignores them and remains alert as the group of freed demons move toward them. When most of them begin to drop to their knees Hiei smirks and releases the flames from his katana with a flick.


Hiei- My name is Hiei.


* Several of the demons greet him with nervous, respectful terms such as 'Master', 'Lord', and 'Sir' until Hiei raises his katana.


Hiei- As your liberator it is my right to do as I wish to all of you.


* Some of the lower demons cower while many begin immediate cries for mercy. Hiei hesitates, then reopens his jagan to scan them. Dagon watches with a scowl as Hiei blinks through the group dispatching certain ones instantly. When Hiei lands back beside the Crow he raises his sword again.


Hiei- Now that all those who were still harboring loyalties to Matsua have been dealt with I will appoint the rest of you to serve your new Master.


* Hiei levels the katana toward Dagon. The Crow does a double take, looks around, then faces Hiei with his mouth agape.


Hiei- You heard me, Crow.. This complex and everything in it is now yours.


* Dagon stammers and sinks to his knees as Hiei goes over closer to face him.


Dagon- M-M-Master, I-I.. Everything I own is.. yours.. I-I have n-no..


* Hiei clamps his right hand down on the left side of Dagon's neck.


Hiei- I'm releasing you..

Dagon- No!


* Hiei hesitates.


Hiei- You're no longer.. enslaved to me, Dagon.

Dagon- Please, sir.. Please allow me to remain yours.


* Hiei slowly shakes his head.


Hiei- No.. You're free, Dagon.


* Dagon closes his eyes when he feels the sudden flare of heat under Hiei's hand. When it cools down Hiei draws his hand away. Dagon lowers his eyes. He doesn't have to look to know that the apparition's mark is gone.


Hiei- I will only ask one thing of you.


* Dagon swallows, composes himself as much as he can, then stands.


Hiei- I want the females that were.. bred to Yusuke and Kurama.

Dagon- They are already yours, M'Lord. Follow me.


* Dagon turns to look toward his new staff.


Dagon- If you wish to stay and continue your duties here, you may.. If you wish to leave, do so now.


* Dagon and Hiei watch only about a dozen demons take off for the main gate. The others leave to return to their duties. Dagon nods, avoids Hiei's eyes, and turns to lead him toward one of the holding buildings.
