LOL, Fic reaches out, grabs Uchiha, and tickles incessantly. :o) Thanks for the review! (1) I just watched a show called "The Deadliest Warrior" and learned the correct spelling for this sword. I'll try to keep it correct from now on.

Scene 14 ------------------------------------------- Early The Next Morning
* Before Hiei can fully decipher the position he's woke up in he leaps away from Klarice, waking her with a start, to disect the pair of lower demons that had dared to wander too close to them. When the carnage is over a few seconds later Hiei's brain catches up with his actions. With his usual grunt of disdain he sheathes his katana (1), closes his cloak, and turns to go back over to Klarice. He hesitates a moment when he finds her in an alert stance with her aqua hair swirling up in her energy. Klarice begins to relax and the brilliant blue-white light around her begins to fade. Hiei approaches a bit closer then stops.
Hiei- No. Show me your full energy.
Klarice- Mas-,..?
Hiei- Show me now.
* Hesitantly Klarice obeys. The next thing she knows a blur materializes between her and Hiei as Troiyoku. Gamaru and Silis appear on either side of her and D'Garo crouches behind her, prepared to whisk her back into the cave at any moment. Troiyoku flicks his eyes around at the scattered remains behind his short, dark Alpha.
Troiyoku- Another attacck?
Hiei- Hn.. Breakfast came to us this morning.. I trust you boys do know how to handle the carcasses of those two boar demons.
* Troiyoku dips his head, then he, Silis, and D'Garo head toward the remains. Gamaru looks toward Klarice and sniffs.
Gamaru- I see.. Then it wasn't him that..
Sarista- Gamaru, go help your brothers.
* Gamaru looks at his mother when she comes over.
Sarista- Now.
* The boy bows slightly and moves off. Hiei watches him go a moment, then goes over closer to the women. When he catches Klarice's slight change in scent within her swirling energy he lowers his eyes to her middle then looks at Sarista. The Fire demoness has obviously detected the new scent also.
Sarista- Wind demons catch easily.
* Hiei blinks a moment, then nods.
Hiei- Hn. Of course they do.
* Hiei looks back to Klarice and shifts his concentration to her energy level.
Hiei- You're very close to B level.
* Klarice tilts her head and relaxes, albeit a bit nervously.
Klarice- Is this.. good?
Hiei- Hn.. It means our offspring will be born at least at upper B.. They will be strong.. You, Alpha..
* Hiei looks at Sarista.
Hiei- Your turn. Stop masking yourself and show me your level.
* The Fire demoness hesitates a moment, then closes her eyes and obeys. Klarice is pushed aside slightly as Sarista's red energy raises around her. Klarice becomes a bit uncomfortable in the rising heat and moves further away. Sarista looks at Hiei apprehensively and the Koorime nods.
Hiei- You're bordering on A.. So the old guy really wouldn't allow you to expose your full power?
Sarista- It is considered sacrilage for a concubine to be stronger than her Master.
Hiei- Hn.. You may have been stronger than him.. But I am an S class.. So none of you have anything to worry about.
* With that, Hiei moves between them toward the cave. Sarista and Klarice look at each other in something akin to disbelief. As Hiei approaches the mouth all the other females, except Staci, come out. Hiei pauses to look them over.
Hiei- I'll deal with all of you when I see fit.. Extra portions for the boys this morning. They're going to need lots of energy today.
* When he continues on into the cave the four females hurry over to gather around Klarice and congratulate her.
