Hiei's Harem - Pt 11 - Asserting

Scene 12 ------------ Later That Day


* The group has made good time and are nearly to the border of the next Territory. Suddenly, Chevaux pulls up to a stop. The other females notice and do the same to watch the Horse demoness raise her head and sniff the air. Hiei becomes aware that they’ve all stopped and turns.


Hiei- Now what?


* Chevaux motions toward some clouds that aren’t too far away.


Chevaux- That’s cranking up into a nasty storm.. We’ll be heading right into it.

Hiei- Hn.. Good.. We’re heading into Rat Territory.

Tachimaru- So how is that good? Rats are just Bats without wings.


* Hiei smirks up at the Tigress.


Hiei- Wanna gamble that they taste better?


* Tachimaru wiggles an ear and purrs thoughtfully.


Garnetia- Rats hate storms.. They’ll be hiding more than likely.

Hiei- Hn.


* Garnetia smiles at Hiei in her most seductive manner. He’s fast learning that this young demoness isn’t as ‘innocent’ as Eboni was.


Garnetia- And they do taste better than Bats.

Hiei- Points for agreeing with me.. or personal experience?


* Garnetia laughs softly.


Garnetia- Bit of both, I suppose.


* Hiei rolls his eyes.


Hiei- Let’s get going. We’ll go as far as we can before we have to seek shelter. See if you can keep up.


* Hiei takes off. Garnetia waves her tail, then streaks off after him. Tachimaru shakes her head as she and the rest follow.


Tachimaru- Any guesses on who he’ll claim next?

Loreen- Well, either way it’ll certainly be another entertaining night in whatever cave we happen to end up in tonight.

Chevaux- Oooo, I can hardly wait.


* The group continues on their course. It doesn’t take long for Hiei to realize that their dash is more of a game to Garnetia. He begins to dodge and weave to keep the Jackal hybrid from grabbing at his cloak. She keeps up with him rather easily since he's not using his full speed. Soon the rain begins to start, but they continue on. When it becomes a harder downpour Hiei skids to a stop. He only half glances at Garnetia when she throws her arms around him.


Garnetia- Caught you.

Hiei- Hn.. There.. It looks like a nice-size cave.


* A ligtening bolt strikes nearby making Garnetia leap. Hiei gathers her up in his arms, motions for the rest to follow him, then blinks up the slight slope toward the cave. He stops and waits for the others to catch up as he looks down at the female in his arms. He watches her sniff toward the cave, but he’s already used his jagan to know that it’s empty.


Garnetia- Empty.. But I bet it’s cozy.

Hiei- I’ll have a fire started to dry us off in no time.


* She smirks up at him.


Garnetia- Oh my.. But these are the only clothes I have.

Hiei- Is that a problem?


* The others reach them.


Loreen- Actually, not at all.


* The Leopardess winks at Hiei as she passes him to enter the cave.


Garnetia- I saw him first, Reenie!


* Hiei rolls his eyes, sets Garnetia down, and leads the rest into the cave.


Tachimaru- Hey, now.. There’s no rule against sharing, girls.


* Hiei looks up at the older female and sizes her up.


Hiei- You remind me of one of my mates.


* She smiles down at him.


Tachimaru- I am one of your mates.

Hiei- Great. Another comedian.


* Tachimaru tilts her head. Hiei waves her question off and moves on into the cave to look around. Chevaux is the last to enter.


Chevaux- Need some of this?


* Hiei turns to watch her dump an armload of branches down on the ground near the middle of the large chamber.


Chevaux- They’re damp.. Will that be a problem?

Hiei- Not for me.


* They all watch him send a burst of his black flames into the branches. There is only a bit of smoke before the intense flames dry the damp wood and the fire begins to crackle. They all look back at Hiei again, clearly impressed. He shrugs.


Hiei- I am part Fire.


* He watches Garnetia move forward and begin to remove her halter-type top. In a moment, all the other females move closer to begin removing their own clothing. Hiei starts to turn away until the Jackal snags his cloak.


Hiei- What?


* Garnetia moves around to face Hiei smiling. Being slightly taller than him she has to bend down to brush his lips with her tongue teasingly.


Hiei- I have to.. keep watch..

Garnetia- Nothing will be moving.. out there.


* Loreen quietly moves up behind Hiei to help Garnetia remove his cloak. The Leopardess doesn’t get much resistance since Hiei is currently becoming more and more involved with the Jackal hybrid. When she works her mouth away from his and offers her neck he leans to continue exploring her throat. He soon pulls her closer against him and runs one of his hands down her bare back to her rear. When the wandering hand grasps the firm flesh there he moans and works back to meet her odd-colored eyes. A mixture of black and red, the same as her straight waist-length hair. She senses his concern.


Garnetia- No.. I’m not a virgin like Eboni was.. My mate was killed when Matsua attacked our Territory.


* Hiei sighs and moves back away from her to sit down beside Tachimaru. Garnetia follows to kneel behind him. She begins to massage his shoulders.


Garnetia- I won’t force you..

Hiei- My thoughts about all of you.


* Tachimaru looks at him.


Tachimaru- No force will be necessary, Master. We’ve already made our choice when we decided to continue on with you.


* Hiei looks up at the Tigress.


Hiei- Will you die if I don’t..?

Garnetia- I will.


* Hiei scowls, sensing the humorous lilt in Garnetia’s answer.


Hiei- Hn.. Too bad for you then, I guess.


* The Jackal crosses her arms with a huff when Hiei moves to straddle Tachimaru’s lap.


Hiei- I’m the Alpha.. I decide.

Garnetia- Oh poo.


* She sits down and hugs her knees as Hiei begins to kiss the Tigress. Tachimaru allows him to have his way for a few moments then pulls back. Hiei watches her glance toward Garnetia.


Tachimaru- Master, if it’s because of Garni’s age..

Hiei- She can’t be much older than Eboni.

Garnetia- I’m sixteen.

Loreen- But you must remember that she’s a Jackal hybrid.. Jackals, by trait, always seem to mature quicker than most species.


* Hiei glances back toward Garnetia.


Hiei- How long were you mated before..?

Garnetia- He was my cousin, a couple months older than I.. We were deemed a good pair by our pack Alpha so I was promised to him when we were five.. But we didn’t actually mate until we were ten..

Hiei- You were mated for six years?! Yet you have already accepted me..?


* Garnetia shrugs.


Garnetia- To a Jackal, power means a lot.. We have an innate talent for sensing it.. And I sense that you’re very strong.. As is the sire of the child I’m carrying.

Loreen- We’ve also learned that you’re an honorable demon.

Chevaux- Indeed.. Most of the males in this region would never allow their mates to carry another male’s offspring.


* Hiei relaxes to sit back down between Tachi and Garnetia.


Hiei- Some species would have already lost their babies.

Tachimaru- The sires of these aren’t dead.

Loreen- Besides that, we weren’t mated to them.

Chevaux- You know them well?

Hiei- Hn.

Loreen- Tell me about the sire of my child.

Tachimaru- Yes, please.


* Hiei hesitates, then looks into his black flames. The better part of the night is spent sharing everything he knows about Yusuke and Kurama, answering their questions. One by one, the females all lay down and slip off to sleep. When Garnetia finally yawns widely and lays down Hiei throws his dried cloak over her. She looks up at him.


Hiei(Quietly)- It’s better that we get to know each other.. It’s not that I’m rejecting you.

Garnetia- I understand.. Like Tachi says, you have a lot on your mind.. Besides that, trust isn’t one of your strong points.


* Hiei looks back down at her. She smiles, closes her eyes, and goes to sleep. Hiei remains awake to continue keeping watch.
