Potions of Fortune

A.N. If you haven't read Kurama and the Potions mishap you may want to, but it's not 100% necessary you may just be wondering on some of the things going on. I was originally gonna go to make this one giant chapter...but my comp has a bad virus and I wanna get this posted before something bad happens to it, that and I've noticed just how big this thing has gotten, over 36 pages on Wordpad, lol. So please as always go read, and if you enjoyed kindly review :)

Summary: A strange attack on a friend as Kurama and the gang at their wits end as a strange Fairy works on healing the injured Potion maker the gang helps gather ingredients she needs while waiting to find out what happened. OC/Koenma, OC/OC, Kurama/Hiei, Yusuke/OC, Kwabara/his right hand (lmfao) A work in progress of romance, adventure, naughtiness and violence, Mwahahaha.

Chapter one:The attack, meeting new....things, and gathering ingredients, Ora gets laid?

A small fairy with stark white hair that stood at 5 feet tall was running as fast as she could with the bundle in her arms that was taller than her by over a foot, with a small fairy dragon flying steadily beside her. /There it is...the tear that goes to the Ningen world..../ she looked down at the bundle as she sped onward, /we're almost there Lana./

Cautiously she stopped and hid her wings under her skin, pulling the cloak over the now tatoo wings before looking through the tear, no one was in sight as she slipped through and ran discreetly through the back alleyways until she hit the edge of the town and made her way into a forested area; it was Yukina she ran into first on the steps to Genkai's temple...."Who are you?"

Pique puffed out some air...."Pique needs to speak....*pant* with Hiei and Kurama....*pant* quickly please." With that Pique collapsed, just missing crushing her burden.

Yukina blinked before running into the small temple and passing the message to Genkai. She came out and looked down at the small girl and carefully moved the blanket aside to reveal a very familiar female silver kitsune. "Yukina....fetch Botan or Yusuke to go and get Hiei and Kurama....tell them it involves Lana."

She nodded before turning and heading into the shrine.....Yusuke was the first out and looked down into Lana's face, covered with scratches and burns, then to the small girl it seemed to him that was passed out beside her with scratches but no burns on her face. "What happened Genkai?"

"I'm not sure....now go get those two, according to Yukina the girl's name is Pique." Yusuke nodded before taking off for Kurama's house. Genkai looked down at Lana, "what have you gotten yourself into now?"

With Yukina's help she got the two inside and laid them out on two cots before trying to assess what damage had been done. She moved the cloak that Pique was wearing to discover that other than a pair of thigh high red boots...the cloak was all that she was wearing...and amazingly it seemed that her face was the worst of the scratches.

Yukina moved the blanket to look at Lana and tears sprang to her eyes at the extent of the damage, falling as tear gems onto the cot, the top of her chest, neck, face and arms were scorched, and scratches covered her body in deep lines that still oozed blood. The worst was something that all nine tailed kitsunes prided themselves on....one of her tails was cut almost completely off and another was literally torn away from her body.

Genkai moved the now weeping ice maiden out of the way and practically growled at the brutality of the attack that had done this to one of a very few select demons she called friend.

This is what Yusuke, Kurama, and Hiei ran in to discover.....Kurama quickly assessed the damage before thinking of what herbs he could grow quickly to help....Hiei ran out of the temple...leaving everyone to wonder where he'd gone.

Kurama sighed, "maybe I can go to her cave and find some of her healing salve...."

Hiei walked back in, "don't bother.....it's been completely destroyed."

Pique slowly stirred and as her sky blue eyes opened Yusuke grabbed her and shook her asking, "WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?!?!?"

Pique screeched before there was a poof of glitter and she seemed to be gone. Kurama looked around, "where'd she go?"

Ora limped into the temple blood trailing down her own body, "she shrunk, really human you should be more careful....she is a fairy after all, they feel things on a whole nother level than even demons."

Hiei looked at her curiously, "do you know what happened?"

She shook her head, "I was on my way to her when I felt the attack....but someone had bound the cave...I couldn't see what was happening.....and for some reason she's shielding herself now" she winced as her left knee gave out and she collapsed onto the floor. "I got trampled by whatever was leaving the cave....all of them..." she sighed as she moved her leg and snapped her left knee back into place.

Kurama sighed, "Do you know how to make any healing salves...or potions?"

Ora shook her head and then tilted it at the empty cot, she stood on shaky legs and moved over to it, "It's o.k. Pique no one here is going to hurt you....I won't even let them touch you..."

A small squeaky voice from seemingly no where asked, "Promise?"

"Of course."

Another puff of glitter and she was back to five foot with her wings twittering nervously behind her. Yusuke looked at her oddly, "damn she is a fairy..."

"Hn....you know about demons...but you were unsure about fairies?" Hiei shook his head.

Ora shhed them, "Pique....can you make any healing salves or potions?"

Pique looked around cautiously before reaching into a small pocket in her boots and pulling out several shrunken books...."Pique was packing all of her books and things when the fire started.....Lana said....Pique is to pack everything of importance because we needed to leave quickly.....Pique was not fast enough..." she sniffled piteously.

Ora hugged her gently, "it's o.k. I'm sure you were packing as quickly as you could...."

Pique unshrunk one of the books, and opened it, reading quickly, "the best potion will take four days to make.....and none of the salves will work as fast.....and it may take longer...just to gather the ingredients.....but Pique can do it....if Pique works on salves while everyone looks for the ingredients...."

She was interrupted as Kuwabara barged in with flowers for Yukina, "Oh Yukina my love!!!"

Pique covered her ears quickly and whimpered. Before he could say anything else Hiei had his sword at his throat, "Shut up you great oaf or I'll kill you myself right here and now."

Kuwabara shuddered and looked around noticing the fairy covering her ears and the body of a kitsune. Quieter he asked, "what's happened?"

Hiei removed his sword, "that kitsune is my 'friend' if you do anything that may mess up her chances of healing....I.WILL.KILL.YOU."

Kuwabara nodded as he handed the flowers to Yukina and watched closely as Ora got Pique's hands away from her ears. "Now finish what you were saying."

"If Pique makes some salves, it may kick start the healing and keep her away from the brink of death....where she is now...." tears started swelling in her eyes...."Pique should have been quicker....Lana said something bad was coming....."

Ora shhed her gently, "do you want me to get Manslayer to help?"

Pique nodded a small smile on her lips, "Pique will start with the salves while you go get him and give him part of the list....."

"Where is he at?"

She looked thoughtful for a second, "he's in Makai....to the far South, on the other side of 'No Return' Swamp...."

Ora sweat dropped, "Of course....someplace I can't teleport to....fine...make the list now and I'll get on my way after the others leave."

She nodded and pulled paper and a quill out of her boot before unshrinking it....

Kurama looked at Hiei and whispered, "her boots are like Lana's cave...there's no end..."

Hiei smirked knowing that his koi was trying to lighten his mood somewhat.

Kuwabara and Yusuke looked at each other, each curious as to just who the fuck Manslayer was.

Pique handed Ora the list and stood shakily, "be careful...there've been some new demons in that area.....and don't tell him Pique got hurt....." she blushed lightly.

Ora smirked, "and why not?"

"Manslayer would not be happy.......and if you are not Pique....he isn't quite as sweet as he is to Pique...."

Ora gulped remembering Lana mentioning Manslayer, "got ya...you can tell him after he gets here....." She carefully folded the paper and sighed, she was going to have a long way to go.

Pique began pulling things out of her boot pocket and laying them out on the table.....

****three hours later****

Yusuke and Kuwabara were looking at Pique's boots oddly when she finally stopped pulling things out of them. "How deep are those pockets Urameshi???"

"I haven't a clue..."

Hiei and Kurama smirked at each other.

Pique began carefully going through the objects, moving some things, and putting some back into her boot pocket. She unshrunk a small wooden box first before opening it and pulling out a caramel cigar and lighting it. Hiei perked as he went to open the box....Pique smacked his hand softly, "think of the flavor you want before you open it..."

"Why?" he opened the box as he said this to find it empty....."What the Hell???"

Pique sighed, "think the flavor you want first or there won't be any in it....Pique made this for one of Lana's birthdays..."

Hiei thought of cherry vanilla and when he opened it this time it was full of cherry vanilla cigars. He took one and lit it before sighing softly, "What can we get to help with the potion?"

She looked in the book and began copying the ingredients before making three copies. "Pique will need all of this....as quickly as possible."

Hiei nodded before turning to the others, "we should break the list up into who can get what quickest."

They all nodded as they looked over the list and began dividing it, Yusuke pulled out a small box and pulled five spirit communicators out and handed one to Kurama, Hiei, and Kuwabara, "this way if someone else finds an ingredient first they can warn the person that was supposed to get it and we can leave one here so Pique can monitor our progress."

When they turned around it was like a small portion of Lana's cave had been transported into the temple, three of her cauldrons, some of her herbs, a vile with the silver rose in it.....parts from a black dragon demon, several different spoons, a timer shaped like a dragon...Ect. Kurama and Hiei looked at each other and blinked before turning back and watching Pique set to work on the first of the salves.

"Let's get a move on, Kurama and I will take the Makai world, we've marked items that can be found in the Ningen world for you....."

"Oh mark off the tear gems please, Pique found some on Lana's cot..."

They all checked the tear gems off and headed out in search of the other ingredients.

Ora now sat in a chair beside her sister, gently moving the hair out of her eyes, wishing to anything that this hadn't happened to her sister, that this was all just a nightmare and any second now gold eyes would look up into her silver and say, 'got ya.' /Why are you shielding so tightly.......?/

But as she looked at her sister's lovely face it was still burnt and scratched.....and her hair singed....that was really going to piss her off.....Ora smiled softly as she hummed an old song her mother used to sing to them.....

Genkai looked at Pique, then Ora, then Lana and sighed, /What could have wanted to hurt you so much Lana? And were you simply caught off guard....or were they really that strong?/

She sighed again as she opened the cigar box and stole a caramel cigar before going to sit outside and think....Yukina was torn between trying to help...and trying to stay out of the quick little fairy's way. Quietly she spoke, "Ora....do you think my healing magic might help some?"

Ora looked over to Pique questioningly, "You could try, but try to start deep and heal them up.....we don't want to heal the surface and leave the deeper ones.....Pique would have to reopen them all then for the salve."

Yukina nodded as she laid her hands nearest to the two damaged tails and Ora found herself smiling, if she could heal her tails Lana would be just as happy to die as long as all nine were present and accounted for....

As Yukina's magic seeped into the tails Ora watched as the one tail began to reattach itself, the muscles going together seamlessly, then as the other began growing back....when that was done Yukina found herself having to lay down....Panting she looked at Ora, "your sister is very difficult to heal.....it's as if her body fights any magic she doesn't recognize."

Ora nodded, and fondly said, "that's Lana....Uh Oh...."

"What is it...?'

"Koenma....someone has to tell him...."

Pique turned to look at her...."but then won't Yama find out....?"

"Botan....she can tell him to think Lana's name.....then the ring she gave him...will bring him here to her.....but....how do we summon Botan?"

She looked expectantly at Pique, "no...no...no....and a thousand times no."

"Come on Pique.....it's for Lana...."

Pique sighed..../damn you Ora...you know I'll do anything for Lana..../ "I hate you sometimes Ora..."

"So you'll do it......"

"How do we know for sure Botan will be the one to show up?"

"Because we're close to Lana of course."

Sighing heavily she pulled out a small red vial and let a small drop fall onto her tongue before quickly corking it back and falling to her knees holding her chest....sure enough as Yukina was about to get up to help Botan appeared, "that's odd no one's supposed to be dying here today,...."

Pique immediately got back up, panting, luckily that poison only worked until death showed up, "Botan Pique is sorry but we need you to get Koenma....."

"What fo...." she froze at the sight of Lana on the cot...."What do I need to tell him..."

"Tell him to think her name..."

Botan nodded and disappeared, leaving Pique breathing heavily, and glaring at Ora, "Next time...it's your turn...."

Ora paled, "but you get over it so quickly....."

Pique glared and Ora wisely shut up as the temperamental fairy went back to the salve. Yukina looked at Ora curiously, "what was that?"

"It's a poison specifically designed to get the drinker to the brink of death....then when death arrives it reverses.....Lana made it to give Botan an excuse to come visit more often...."

"Oh...."

****30 minutes later****

/Where could he be hiding???/

Botan stopped everyone she ran into asking if they'd seen Koenma...but it seemed like today no one had. Finally she found the blue Ogre thinking maybe her luck had changed.... "Sorry Botan but Koenma hasn't been around since yesterday....I think he may have gone to see that Lana he's been talking about almost none stop...."

Botan sighed before continuing to look for the Reikai prince finally she was standing outside of his bedroom that so few knew of..../why not...?/ she knocked softly and waited until she heard a quiet 'come in' before she opened the door and walked inside....Koenma was laying in his bed. /something isn't quite right here..../

"Koenma sir, I've been looking all over for you.....why are you still in bed?"

"I don't feel well Botan.....I'm hot....but I'm cold....it hurts to move....to breath even.....I don't look like I'm hurt....but.....I feel.....like I've been beaten......"

Botan eyes widened, /I wonder..../ "Sir you need to think Lana's name and go to her now......"

He perked slightly but then winced, "Is something wrong?" he tried to stand only to fall.....

****at Genkai's****

Ora jumped when Lana whimpered and a fresh line of blood came from her left wrist. /What's going on Lana?/ She asked mentally only to feel the shields close tighter....

****Koenma's room****

Koenma stood shakily with Botan's help, "If I think her name and it takes me there and you with me....do you think you can keep me up....?"

Botan nodded, "I'll do my best sir."

/Lana./

****At Genkai's****

Lana winced and whimpered in her sleep seconds before Koenma and Botan appeared. Koenma hissed at the sight of Lana, "WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?!?"

Ora backed away from the irate Reikai prince as Pique covered her ears.

A whimper from Lana and Koenma was by her side moving the hair out of her face...almost afraid to touch anywhere else. "Ora....tell me you know who did this...you can hear her thoughts...." he sounded almost desperate....

Ora shook her head, "she is shielding for some reason....shielding heavily.....I can hardly feel her at all...."

"Why would she shield from you....her sister."

Botan coughed gently...."May I ask you a question Ora?"

Ora frowned but being Ora said, "You just did but you can ask another."

"Has there ever been a record of a mate feeling the pain of it's other half if they didn't shield it?"

Ora blinked before looking at Koenma, then back to Botan...."There's no way...not this quick....unless....Koenma let me see the ring she gave you..."

Koenma looked confused but held his hand up with the ring on it....only to watch as she sniffed it...."what are you...."

"I don't believe it....they aren't bonded as you're thinking Botan....but she's linked to him....this ring is made with silver, her blood, and her hair.....she's not shielding from me.....she's shielding from you...."

Botan looked at him, "that's why you haven't felt well at all today."

"I'm confused..."

Ora smirked, "If she wasn't shielding....you'd feel even worse....try taking it off and putting it into your pocket...."

Reluctantly Koenma took off the ring and instantly felt better, Ora closed her eyes and gently pushed at her sister's shields, /Sis.....he took the ring off....you can open to me now....without hurting him..../ Finally the shields crashed and Ora went down with them, "FUCKING HELL!!!!" Botan went to help her, "DON'T TOUCH ME!" Botan backed away quickly as Ora lay down writhing, "Gods....it hurts....."

Koenma looked between Lana and Ora....../she shielded me......because of the pain.....so....she's kept so much...../

A small tear went down his cheek, Pique sighed as she moved and took out a small blue vial and as gently as she could coaxed it down Lana's throat. "What are you giving her.....and who are you?"

"Pique is giving Lana a pain killer....and Pique is Pique silly."

Koenma blinked..../Odd speech pattern.../ Ora sighed as the pain lessened somewhat, "Pique is Lana's apprentice...she's going to make the healing potion and salves for her."

Koenma nodded, "nice to meet you Pique."

"Pique is glad to finally be meeting the Reikai prince Lady Lana has been talking about...." she nodded her head at him cutely before going back to stir the salve...."we is lucky Pique packed most of the things we is needing for the healing salves...."

Ora blinked, "whoa...where is your fairy dragon?"

Pique blinked and looked around "hmmmm....that's odd....he was with me when I left the cave with Lana....." a small huff was heard before Pique looked under the cot she'd been laying on, "oh there you are Solidad.... Pique is sorry....Pique forgot all about you...."

The dragon huffed before flying up and licking her nose, mindful of the cuts, Pique giggled halfheartedly, "stop that, Pique has much to do...."

The dragon landed gently on Lana's cot and sniffed at her before making a pitiful whimper and laying down obediently. Ora sighed, "since you're here Binky man....I'm gonna head out to find Manslayer....wish me luck." With a small pop she was gone, having teleported as far to the south in Makai as she could.

Koenma blinked, "who's Manslayer?"

Pique smiled, "Manslayer is Pique's mate of course..."

Koenma nodded before pulling up a chair and taking Lana's hand gently, /What happened, Lana.../


****20 minutes later in the middle of the Swamp of Sorrows****


Ora swore as she hastily climbed a tree to escape the crocodile demon /son of a bitch this place is huge...how am I going to find Manslayer?/ A thought popped into her head as she raised her voice as high as she could, "MANSLAYER, PIQUE NEEDS YOU!!!!"

Just like that the demon ran off and the swamp seems to tremble as if a huge monster were coming, /shit how big is this guy.../

Into the small clearing stepped a 5'4 tall elf with light skin the color of fresh milk, long jet black hair that reminded her of the midnight sky when there was no moon, and purple eyes that put most amethysts to shame. He was wearing armor that looked like it was made from the scales of a red dragon, and a large axe strapped across his back /Wow, Pique got a hottie...a little smaller than I thought he'd be though./

His voice came out deep enough that it seemed to pour down Ora's skin when he spoke, "Who are you and what is wrong with Pique?"

Ora gulped at the sense of power that filled those words, "Pique's with Lana....she asked me to come get you to help, Lana is hurt....badly."

Manslayer nodded before leaping up into the tree and grabbing Ora before putting on a ring and thinking /Pique./

****Genkai's temple****

There was poof and before anyone else could see what was going on they heard Pique's squeal of "MANSLAYER!!!" As they turned to see her launch herself into his arms. "Pique was worried Ora would not find you...." This consequently cause Ora to fall to the floor, none too delicately.

He shushed her with a finger to her lips before brushing his fingers lightly against the cuts and scrapes on her face, "What happened?"

"Pique is not sure....Lana told Pique to pack important things, Pique was packing....Pique heard fighting....then everything went BOOM...." she pointed at Lana panting, "Pique knew she needed to help Lana....Pique got cut a little but Pique will heal in a day or two....Lana needs salves and potions...."

Manslayer hugged her tightly stilling her as she buried her face against his neck and took several deep breaths, "What do you need me to do to help your friend?"

"Help keep Pique calm...and 7 drops of your blood...."

Yusuke raised an eyebrow, "is there something special about his blood?"

Ora nodded, "look at the ears numb nuts....he's an elf."

Yusuke shook his head, "my fragile delusions of what's real in this world are slowly falling apart...."

Kuwabara snickered, "you'd think since you've been fighting demons and shit you'd be over it by now."

"That was different...just think how many other things are out there that we don't know about." he smirked.

Kuwabara paled, "you don't think the bogeyman is next to come out of the closet do you?"

"Maybe." Yusuke fought not to laugh out loud as Kuwabara started looking around for the bogeyman under all the beds.

Genkai sighed while Ora smirked, "you know he doesn't really hide under the bed or in the closet." Yusuke and Kuwabara both looked at her horrified at what they were about to learn, "he can hide in any shadow and just jump out and eat you....though not all of you just certain choice pieces like the liver or kidneys, course there was one that liked to eat the sexual organs of his prey...."

Yusuke and Kuwabara paled to the color of fresh paper and promptly passed out. Genkai chuckled, "why thank you for shutting them up Ora."

"Noooo problem Genkai." she looked at her sister pale face, "Pique did you happen to see any sign of what she was fighting?"

Pique shook her head as Manslayer helped her go back to work on the salves, "it was like the darkness in her potion making area had come alive...if she hadn't yelled at me to run....Pique would have been closer to the explosion and probably not be here." Pique shook her head as the first tear trailed down her cheek, "Pique ran like a good little apprentice because Pique's teacher told her to, but Pique could have helped..."

Manslayer wrapped his arms around her from behind, resting his chin on top of her head, "you did the best you could, you brought her somewhere safe where she could heal...and you have her mate with her."

Pique looked over at Koenma and sighed, he looked terrible, slowly running his fingers up and down her hand waiting for a golden eye to open....she sniffled before setting back to work. /Pique will not let you die Lana, Pique can't./


****meanwhile on the hunt for potion ingredients****

Hiei cursed softly as he fought to get out of the pit he'd tripped into, /Lana's lucky she's my friend.../ he sighed as he tried again to run out of the deep pit.

Kurama sighed and tried to get the rather large Venus fly plant to release him as he tried to get some of it's digestive juices in a vial having very similar thoughts as Hiei. /How in the seven hells does Lana get all these fucking ingredients!!!???/ After he got what he needed he used his rose whip to cut himself free. /Next.../ he read the next item on the list and sighed loudly, /six underbelly scales of a black fire dragon...and.../ he paused with a rather large sweat drop on his forehead, /the sexual seed of a red dragon..../ Kurama put his hands into his hair and pulled as he yelled, "LANA HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET THIS STUFF!!!!!!!?????????"

Yusuke was running away from a mob of girls that were chasing him with angry shouts, /Jeez of all the things to need....why specifically a pair of used women's panties that have to be taken not given!!/ he ran faster as a shoe hit him in the back of his head.

Kuwabara stood scratching his head, /sap of a weeping willow willingly given...how the hell do you ask a tree for sap?/ He scratched his head some more and proceeded to beg the tree for sap, getting many weird looks from the people passing by.


****Back at the temple****

Ora panted quietly, whatever Pique had given Lana was wearing off and she could feel her sister trying to shield again, /oh no you don't, you aren't dealing with this pain alone./ She put her psychic foot down and held her shield in place, /What happened?/

Images began flooding her mind, but in her unconscious state, Lana couldn't control just what her sister was seeing or feeling. Ora saw shadows and felt claws tearing into her, screaming....and her sister getting knocked into her cauldron that was full of a potion, her own blood causing the explosion.../What in Inari's name were you working on?/

She saw a man she didn't recognize but knew by the demeanor and clothing that it was a very wealthy demon with a brief case filled with money before it flashed to her and Pique gathering ingredients so rare she had the impression that the potion had to be just under the legal guidelines....

Ora shook as her eyes closed and she slid to the floor, everything was starting to hurt again and her voice came out strangled, "Pique I think she needs more pain killers."

Pique looked up, her dark eyes concerned as she checked on Ora, "Pique is sorry.....she can't have more yet for another two hours or it could put her into a coma..."

Ora sighed and gritted her teeth, "How long WAS it supposed to last?"

Pique frowned as she looked at the clock, "it should have lasted another four or five hours....." she pulled out the freshly done batch of healing salves, "Here, you start with this salve on her legs, and I'll apply the facial one.....why aren't the others back yet?"

Ora shook her head, "I'm not sure we want to know why the humans aren't back yet, but I bet Hiei and Kurama are having some issues in Makai."

Pique nodded, "Manslayer....sweety could you maybe go find and help the humans?"

He nodded as he headed for the door before Genkai stepped in front of him, "Yee may wish to change into more human looking clothes first."

He looked down at his armor and with a thought he was suddenly in jeans and a tee shirt, though the axe was still slung over his shoulder. "Will this work?"

She nodded and looked over smiling at Pique who had forgotten her duty as she stared at his ass, "I would say so, wouldn't yee agree Pique?"

Pique blushed as Manslayer turned to look at her and his eyes held a heat as if he was reading exactly what she was thinking loud and clear. He smirked and winked slowly at her before heading out to find the boys. She shivered before trying to contact Yusuke and Kuwabara with the spirit communicators only to get static back, thus she sighed and went back to work with the salve.


****by the weeping willow****

Kuwabara jumped up and down trying to beg the tree for sap, never noticing as the spirit communicator fell from his ear and was crushed under his foot.


****running through town****

Yusuke turned a corner too sharply and tripped over something before taking off as fast as he could to escape the girls raging behind him, never noticing as his spirit communicator was trampled on the ground where he'd just been.

*****In Makai******


Kurama never noticed his spirit communicator falling into the mouth of the giant venus fly trap. Hiei never noticed as he finally got out of the pit that his communicator was left in the bottom of it.

****Back at the temple****


Pique got back to work trying to keep the image of Manslayer's ass out of her head, while they began rubbing the salves into the deep wounds on Lana.

Manslayer walked around looking for the energy signatures for the humans he was searching for, /hmm I haven't been to the ningen world in quite a while.../ about that time he saw and felt Yusuke come running around the corner with the mob of girls after him, Manslayer nabbed him by the back of his shirt and quickly put him behind him so that the girls ran past.

Yusuke not realizing the helping hand started to get crappy about being grabbed, "Dude what the Hell?!?"

"My name is not dude human, it is Manslayer and Pique sent me to collect you and the other one that is helping with Lana."

Yusuke blinked, "What kind of name is...." he paused as he noticed the giant axe on his back, "I probably don't wanna know do I?"

Manslayer smirked darkly, "I doubt it."

"Right sooooo the other human?"

"I can sense him this way." With that they walked the four blocks to find Kuwabara still begging the willow, Manslayer shook his head grabbed the vial out of his hand and knelt before the tree speaking in a language that neither human understood.

Staring with wide eyes they watched as a branch lowered and dripped seven drops of sap into the vial. Kuwabara blinked before scowling, "How in the Hell...?"

Yusuke smirked, "Not a clue but Kuwabara, Manslayer, Manslayer, Kuwabara."

Kuwabara stuck out his hand, getting a disturbing look from Manslayer, "What else is on your lists in this realm?"

"Um, tears of a dove, laughter of a raven, a black cat's whisker willingly given, a dog's left front claw willingly given, hey what's the difference if it's willingly given or forcefully taken?"

Manslayer looked at him, /humans../ " If it's forcefully taken it completely changes the effects in the potion, it could turn a healing potion into a poison."

The two boys blinked before nodding, "makes sense I guess."

Shaking his head he led them down an alley where a stray black cat was scrounging for food. Kuwabara looked at it, "aww poor kitty," but got the shit scratched out of him when he went to pet it. Manslayer stifled a chuckle before reaching for the cat, "CAREFUL IT'S A FUCKING DEMONIC CAT!"

Shaking his head as the cat calmly curled up in his arms he looked at him, "Listen human she's not demonic....she just doesn't like your scent."

"Can you actually talk to animals and trees."

"I'm an elf, not all of your stories of my kind are made up."

With that they began making their way around the ningen areas getting what was left on their lists.

****In Makai****


Kurama cursed his luck, he had the other two items on his list...but he was feeling so 'dirty'. Of course, at this point he would run into Hiei, who promptly began laughing his ass off "....is that.....what.....*snickers to the point of not being able to breath*.....I think it is?!?!?"

"Har dee har har, BAKA." Turning beet red he began heading back to Genkai's temple, to drop off everything and get himself into a shower....a VERY hot...scalding shower.

Hiei caught up with him, just barely snickering now, "gotta tell ya....red dragon semen looks good on you...."

With that he took off laughing while Kurama swung at him, "THIS IS NOT FUCKING FUNNY HIEI!!!!!"

****Back at Genkai's temple****

Koenma was sleeping on a cot next to Lana while Pique was using her smaller size to fly around and get the healing salve into the hardest to reach places, and Ora was thankfully passed out. Manslayer walked in behind Hiei followed by a still cursing Kurama, followed by Yusuke and Kuwabara, looking at him oddly with his small menagerie of animals. Pique squealed as she poofed back into her 5ft self and stole the kitten from him, "It's sooooo CUTE!!!!"

Manslayer smiled softly, the look almost making Kuwabara and Yusuke fall over. She stretched up and kissed his cheek, "for some reason I thought you'd like her."

"She's adorable, did you already ask for the whisker?" She blinked at the raven, the dove, and the dog he had following him, "make friends did we?"

"I guess so."

Pique giggled as she sat the kitten down and took the ingredients, pausing to smile at Kurama, and holding on to her laughter with all of her might, "Kurama.....um....." a small snicker escaped her lips, "the shower's free...."

Storming off, Kurama could do nothing but mutter under his breath as his face turned a dark shade of crimson. /maybe Pique should have told him about Lana's willing donors.........................NAH!/ Pique giggled softly before she set to work making the healing potion, the others took up posts while Manslayer helped her with it.

****2 and a half hours later****


Pique yawned tiredly as Manslayer rubbed her shoulders while she finished stirring, "there, now 3 hours to simmer and then 5 hours to cool and it's done...."

Manslayer wrapped his arms around her firmly, almost everyone was asleep, he let his hands slip up to cup her breasts and her breath caught in her throat, "well while we wait how about I help up your energy levels?"

A sultry smile, and a tug on his hand to lead him through to another room was his only response as she sealed her lips to his, "Pique thinks Manslayer is overdressed."

With a thought his clothes were gone, "as always love, your wish is my command." He lifted her up against a wall, letting her legs wrap around his waist happy that she wasn't one for clothes as he easily thrust himself into her. A soft moan escaped her parted lips as she moved her hips against him,"like that?"

She hummed in appreciation before letting out a breathy whisper, "harder..." with a groan he complied earning a loud moan as she kept pace with him, her legs tightening around his waist with surprising strength. He leaned closer and ran his tongue along the shell of her long ear and she released a high keening noise as her legs tightened even more, with enough power to have broken a human's pelvis. With a smirk he ran his tongue from her ear down to her throat, nipping at the skin before he bent down and sucked a nipple into his mouth, her hands tangled in his hair as she tossed her head back against the wall. He smirked against her until her magic little fingers caressed the shells of his ears earning a moan from him and a hasher thrust which earned him a moaned, "again."

Growling low in his throat he happily complied coming back up to kiss her lips, Pique's eyes fluttered closed only to open and widen before a dark smirk that didn't belong on her innocent face appeared as she saw Yusuke frozen in the doorway, jaw dropped and a tent in his pants. Manslayer chose that moment to latch his teeth into the spot where her neck met shoulder and her eyes closed as she release a scream and her legs tightened around his waist. Her body jerking against his as he kept pumping into her, bringing her again and again before a growled moan left his throat and he released himself within her.

Yusuke promptly passed out from lack of blood flow to his brain, Manslayer looked at him shaking his head before he moved them over to a cot, resting Pique's back on it gently before starting a slow thrusting in her again. She moaned lightly before kissing his lips and pushing him back a little, standing straight he only had to wonder for a second what she was doing before she tossed her legs over his shoulders and pulled him back down. She licked the shell of his ear teasingly before whispering, "Show Pique just how much you love her...."

With a groan he began thrusting with vigor again, trailing kisses along her boot covered legs. Letting his hands run along her breasts and tweak her nipples playfully, Pique lifitng her hips to keep pace with him ran her own nails down his arms and chest. "My lovely little Fairy."

Pique smiled softly, "Yours, my sexy elf."

Kurama started to come around the door, noticing Yusuke on the floor, "Yurameshi what are you doing....." he looked up, seeing Pique and Manslayer, "on.....the.....floor......................oh......" Grabbing his feet, he pulled him back in the other room.

Manslayer slid one hand down lightly pinching then rolling her clit between his finger sending her over the edge again, he stilled letting her writhe against him before grabbing her hips and folding her legs down to her chest. He began a fast, hard pace bringing her again before capturing her lips again and loosing himself within her.

He pulled out slowly, helping her unfold her legs before laying down on the cot, smiling as her customary giggle came from her. She snuggled into his chest letting her body bask in the afterglow as she absorbed all of the energy until the alarm went off.


****In the room with the cauldron and everyone else****

The alarm went off and everyone looked up as a hyperactive fairy zoomed in as a blur to them and took the cauldron off of the fire. Yusuke blinked at her, before looking at the others who had only heard what was going on, "how does she have that much energy after all that?"

Manslayer walked in calmly, "easy, she absorbed the energy from it."

He flushed, "um...sorry about walking in on you guys....."

Manslayer smirked, "not big....you're just lucky she didn't get as feisty as she usually does..."

Yususke blinked, "THAT wasn't feisty?"

Manslayer looked down at the lines on his chest and arms....."nope, I'm not bleeding.....and we only had two rounds...."

" You lucky bastard...."

With a dark smirk he backed him up to the wall, "lucky I am, bastard I am not....and don't let me catch you looking at 'MY' Pique too closely human...."

"Got cha."

Pique flew over and wrapped her arms around Manslayer's neck, "Is Pique's Sweety threatening the human?" She looked innocently at Yusuke, "you should be happy...if you was a demon....well he does not give verbal warnings to demons....." She giggled darkly before kissing Manslayer's cheek and flying over to the book on the table.

Yusuke gulped as Manslayer moved back to watch the fairy check everything with the potion before adding a vial of something that looked suspiciously like blood before licking the vial clean while giving him a playful smile with a small smudge of blood on her lips which she made sure he was watching before she cleaned it with her tongue. A small groan and he turned to walk back into the separate room.

With a giggle Pique followed and everyone else in the room stood blinking before another louder groan was heard. Yusuke looked around and with exasperation went outside to shoot something, Keiko hadn't let him touch her again since the one night in Lana's cave.

****In the other room*****


Manslayer was pushed again a wall roughly as Pique manually undid his pants and slid them down as she gracefully slid to her knees nuzzling his erection as she went before sliding rosy lips around it and sucking hard, pulling a moan from his throat. "One day Pique you're gonna be the death of me."

Pique pulled back and pouted up at him, "Pique can stop if you want Pique to...."

He ran a finger along her ear, smiling as she shivered, "I'm yours to do with as you please, if it does kill me....I'll die with a smile."

Pique smiled up at him widely before deep throating him and swallowing around him. She pulled back and sucked lightly at the head letting her teeth graze it lightly, letting her tongue play around the tip before taking it all again.

She brought her hand around and gently rolled his sack in her hand while she started to bob her head along him, picking up the pace as she heard him start to pant. With a final, long, drawn out suck she was drinking the sweet, slightly salty essence of her mate. Pique pulled back and licked her lips clean before lightly kissing his cheek and flying back to the other room leaving him to recover.

****In the main room****


Everyone watched stunned as Pique zoomed back into the room 30 minutes later, her skin seemed to glow with an inner light, as well as her eyes and she seems like she couldn't hold still at all.

"Is he like fairy crack?"

Botan thumped Kuwabara over the head with a paper fan, although she couldn't help but think the same thing.

Pique checked the potion before she started to zip around the room cleaning, in 10 minutes that was done and she moved quickly but cautiously around Lana checking her injuries. "Dude all her scratches and stuff are healed now."

Everyone looked as closely as they could to notice that her skin was once again flawless, with not so much as a scar. Manslayer came back out and sat down on the floor propping himself against the wall with his axe before nodding off.

Ora snickered before wincing, "how long til she can have another pain reliever?"

"Is it not any better?"

"A little but it still hurts like hell."

"Pique will get Ora a pain reliever then....Lana has some more time to go...but maybe...since you're sharing pain Pique can give you intermittent potions.... yes that should work."

Ora gratefully drank the potion and sighed in relief, "So Pique....should Kuwabara be getting that close to Manslayer while he's asleep?"

Pique peeked over and squeaked before knocking him to the floor just as the axe flew at where his head had been. "EEP.....um thank you Pique...." he said as he slowly crawled away, only after he was six or seven feet away did the axe go back to propping him up.

"Welcome, Pique would advise you all to keep your distance, only Pique is allowed near Manslayer when he is sleeping."

Everyone nodded and moved just a little further away from the sleeping elf. "So how much longer until the potion is done?"

"Ora what have you been able to learn from Lana's thoughts?"

Ora blinked, "it's all a little hazy, since she's unconscious she can't exactly control what all she sends through, it's just flashes, and a lot of darkness...."

Koenma blinked, "shadow demons maybe?"

"Possibly, or someone using them or something similar to control shadows..."

Botan looked at everyone, "what if King Yama is using something, he was pretty pissy about the ball...."

Ora blinked, "you know it's possible...."

"But father goes to great extremes to keep her alive."

"Or to bring her back.....if she were to die and he knows what he knows now he could bring her back.....and alter her....perceptions, in fact Lana's mentioned her fear of this a couple of times."

A low whimper from the cot drew their attention to pain filled gold eyes, and a round of 'LANA' went around the room. Pique flew over, "can you talk?"

Her voice came out dry and so low everyone had to kneel close to the cot just to hear, "kinda."

"Pique is sorry she did not pack faster...."

Lana shook her head slightly, "should've seen coming..."

She sighed as she closed her eyes and Ora felt herself cut off from her. "you don't need to do that...."

Golden eyes opened to Koenma, "m'sorry"

"For what?"

"Couldn't block more."

Koenma shook his head at her, "you stubborn kitsune."

A pained smile was her only response before she passed out again.

Kurama put his arms around Hiei and whimpered, "I hate seeing her like this, I just feel so helpless."

For once trying to lighten his lover's mood, Hiei forced a smirk, "not helpless, love after all you're the one that got covered in red dragon spunk for her."

A light 'thwack' on the head was his payment, though he noticed a slight uptilt to his lover's lips.

Pique smiled, "only 5 more hours then the potion is ready, then we can find out what went on for sure...and everyone will feels betters."

Hiei grabbed Kurama's hand and pulled him back to the room they normally stayed in when staying at Genkai's.

****Hiei and Kurama**** (sorry it took so long)

Hiei pulled Kurama onto the bed kissing his face lovingly before starting to remove his clothes, "I think fox it's time for me to help you relieve some stress." He pulled out the jar of lubricant that Lana had given them their first night together. He opened it before slicking one of his fingers and beginning the preparation of Kurama, loving the noises that escaped his lips as his fingers found his prostate and played with it without mercy.

"Hiei please, hmmm....no more teasing."

With a final scissoring motion he pulled his fingers out and lubed himself, "so name the position of the day?"

Kurama chuckled lightly before throwing his legs up over his shoulders, "will this one work my little korime?"

Hiei released a moan before positioning himself and sliding home, with the first couple of thrusts he punctuated his next words, "oh yes, this. works.just. fine. fox."

"Make me forget for a while Hiei, please, no gentleness right now."

Hiei smiled lovingly down at his fox, "as you wish." then he was thrusting harshly against him making him arch up into him and release a lot of little noises with a few loud moans thrown into the mix.

"Harder," he moaned out as he tightened his legs over Hiei's shoulders pulling him closer so he could kiss him.

Hiei gladly complied, thrusting as hard and fast as he could, wrapping his hand around Kurama's erection, licking, sucking, and biting at all of the skin he could reach. With a scream Kurama started coming, coating both of their stomachs and chests with his essence, pulling Hiei after him shortly with his constricting muscles.

Drained Hiei pulled to the side and laid curing up with his fox before sleep laid claim to them both.


****Back in the other room****


Pique flew back into the room giggling softly before handing Ora the video camera, which she proceeded to rewind and watch. "Damn...that IS hot....thanks Pique."

"You's welcome Ora" she flew over to Manslayer and whispered something in his ear which resulted in her being throw over his shoulder, giggling, and then being carried back to 'their' room faster than anyone could blink.

Ora stood there blinking before the moans started again, she shook her head before she began rubbing some more of the healing salves into Lana's wounds. She looked up at Koenma and felt a small flash of jealously before she sighed, /I need to get laid..../

Yusuke started gritting his teeth, /I need to get laid..../

Kurama and Hiei came out of the room to see almost identical looks on Yusuke and Ora's face. /hmmmm/

Lana's eyes opened slowly sensing conflicting emotions in Ora only to recognize similar thoughts coming from Yusuke, /Ora./

Ora blinked rapidly before looking down into slightly pained golden eyes, /SIS! wait why are we talking this way...?/

Lana let a weary laugh through the bond, /the human and you are having similar thoughts.../

Ora blinked, /no no way in the hells....I don't do humans./

/You know he's half demon right?/

Ora's eyes widened, /you're shitting me right?/

/Nope, give it a go, nothing else you can both release some pent up stress, apparently the human girl he was with hasn't let him touch her since the night of the ball./

/oh ouch/

Her touch to her sister's mind started weakening as Lana tried to fight off exhaustion, /yeah...../

/Rest Lana, the potion will be done soon,/ she mentally hugged her sister, too afraid of hurting her to do so physically, /maybe I will give him a go./ Lana managed a pained smile as her eyes slipped closed again, Ora sighed, /might as well not be the only ones not getting any./

She let one of her tails start brushing up and down Yusuke's leg, who blinked and looked over at her quizzically, /now to test the waters..../ she released a small amount of demon pheromones and saw his nostrils flare as well as his eyes close, /wonder what kind of demon he has in him..../

Yusuke opened his eyes and looked closely at Ora before subconsciously releasing his own pheromones watching as her own nostrils flared before her skin took on a flushed tinge, he smirked before his own pheromones kicked up sniffing as her's rose to match.

Kurama froze, "Yusuke.....you're gonna send her into heat...."

Yusuke's demons eyes turn to him and Kurama wished he hadn't spoke as he inched further away, watching as demonic markings began crawling across Yusuke's skin.

A soft whimper from Ora brought Yusuke's eyes back to her as she started to pant her bronze skin tinting pink from head to toe before she took off out into Genkai's woods with Yusuke hot on her tails.

Genkai peeked back from her spot by the door, "Kurama would yee like to explain what just happened?'

Kurama gulped as he finally felt comfortable enough to step fully back into the room, "Um.....I'm guessing Ora decided to see if Yusuke was interested.....and his demon took a hard notice and release enough pheramones to send Ora into heat..."

Genkai blinked wide eyes...."hmmmmm."

Kurama shook his head as he put his arm around Hiei's shoulders and sat them both down on a sofa, "Kurama....should we just let them go do this?"

He blinked, "well do you really want to get between them?"

"Right," Hiei snuggled his head against him before waiting. "I guess if we're lucky he won't be able to catch her, or his human side'll pop back in control."


****Genkai's forest****


Ora ran through the trees dodging left and right, not hearing anything behind her, just feeling his presence, her breath coming out in pants as her skin felt like it was on fire. Every instinct telling her to make him prove himself, to fight, to run. /What the HELL kind of powerful ass demon does he have in him?!?!?/

Yusuke stood silently behind a nearby tree watching her eyes dart in every direction as she tried to catch her breath, demonic markings covering his skin as he used the shadows and trees to sneak closer.

Ora froze as she heard a small branch snap and leapt up into the tree she'd been leaning on as Yusuke appreared where she had been looking up at her lustily. /Shit he's fast..../ She leapt into another tree as he jumped onto the branch she'd just been on, /REALLY FUCKING FAST!/

The chase began anew as Ora took off running deeper into the woods with Yusuke hot on her tails, literally reaching ahead and letting his fingers tease the tip of her tails as she ran as fast as she could, /he's playing with me..../ she growled before she disappeared with a pop, leaving Yusuke with a confused look on his face before she tackled him from behind leaving shallow cuts where her claws cut up his shirt, she smirked before licking at the blood and popping away again. Yusuke stood and removed the rest of his shirt looking up into a farther off tree to see her licking her claws clean of his blood, he smirked seductively as he walked towards the tree.

His voice came out husky as he stopped and leaned against her tree, "you should come down and play Ora...."

Silver eyes blinked down at him before smirking and backing into the shadows of the leaves, her voice came out just as husky, "maybe you should come up."

Ora blinked as he disappeared, /uh oh..../ Two strong arms wrapped around her from behind and turning she dug her claws into what she could reach of them causing them to tumble from the tree into the clearing, teeth sinking into each other's flesh as they struggled before Yusuke finally pinned her down, her tails still thrashing against the ground as he held her arms above her head.

Smirking he leant down and ran his tongue along her throat, stilling her and stealing a low whimper from her throat. Yusuke breathed out two words, "I win," before crushing his lips to hers and hiking her skirt up. His teeth nipped at her skin as he rested himself between her thighs slowly letting his tongue taste her feverish skin, soon Ora found herself writhing against him trying to free her hand simply to claw at him as she was clawing at his hands and the ground beneath them.

Yusuke pulled back his eyes flashing to human as he looked down at her, his spirit and yokai energies fighting against each other, "Ora....?"

Ora looked up into his human eyes watching them flashing back and forth, the uncertaintly there enough to clear her mind enough to think, she smiled softly as her tails calmed and stroked his back gently, "Yusuke," she tilted her head, baring the throat to him in a demon's pose of surrender.

His eyes flashed back to demon before he latched his teeth into her throat and thrust into her in one go earning a please keen as her legs locked around his waist, his eyes flashed again, "were you....?"

Her own eyes opened slowly, slightly glazed, "no but it's been a VERY long time."

She shifted her hips beneath him and all signs of his humanity slipped away until she had his demon thrusting into her mercilessly and she couldn't have been happier. He spread her thighs wider as he thrust, looking down to see himself going in and out of her as her hands were freed she reach up and pulled his lips to hers letting her claws leave bloody lines down his back, making him thrust even harder as his tongue mimiced what his body was doing to her.

****Back in Genkai's temple****

Kurama shook his head, "from the sounds of it someone won...."

Hiei smirked, "well he's been pent up since the cave with Keiko....I mean it's been over 2 years now can you blame him?"

Kurama smirked, "Yes much like Kuwabara he's been relying on his right hand..."

Koenma yawned as he sat up, "hey where's Ora?"

Kurama smirked, "oh just relieveing some tension I think."

Hiei turned his back on the room as his body starting shaking from holding in his laughter. While Kurama managed to hold a slim smirk no his own face doing nothing but confusing the Reikai prince.
