Hiei's Harem - Pt. 15 - Moving

Hello and welcome back to my continuing saga monster. This sequel will have some WAFFY moments, some racy moments, and some hmm moments. If you’ve read this far I’m sure you understand that just about anything could happen. And probably will. :oD

I also want to say that, while it is my policy not to beg for reviews, I would like to hear from some new faces. So if you’re one of the ‘unseen’.. err.. dozens that’s reading this story and haven’t said anything yet, I’d like to read your thoughts. I appreciate my regulars, those 2 or 3 really keep me going sometimes, but new faces really make me wiggle. Hehehe.

So, without further adieu. Onward we go!

Scene 1 ------------------- Two Days Later


* Hiei moans as he stirs awake on top of Dagon. The Koorime notices a couple things as his mind clears and he raises up onto his hands and knees. First of all, the Crow’s scent has finally returned to normal and, second, they’re positioned smack dab in the center of the main clearing. Hiei scowls, then rolls to sit on his rear beside Dagon who’s still blissfully asleep. He discovers a third thing, he’s completely naked. He hears several snickers as he shakes his head to clear it some more. Then he looks up at Sarista when she comes over to hand him a bowl of stew. He growls a little at her amused smirk.


Sarista- The bird should have warned you about avian heats. They can last for three days.


* Hiei takes the stew then looks back up at his Fire demoness. She giggles at the look on her enlightened Alpha’s face.


Hiei- Three..? Three days?!


* When she nods Hiei curses and gulps down the stew. ‘No wonder I’m so d---ed hungry’. Sarista glances around as several smaller- bodied laughs sound out. Hiei raises his eyes to find that he’s the center of attention for several smaller versions of himself.


Hiei- I’m glad that you’re all so amused, ya brats.


* Sarista can’t help but chuckle and Hiei glares back up at her.


Hiei- Stop laughing and get me my clothes! I’m sitting here buck naked in front of my kids. Don’t you think there’s something wrong with this picture?!


* Celestia brings his cloak and pants over as Sarista reaches down to ruffle Hiei’s askewed spikes.


Sarista- Oh, believe me, Darling, they’ve seen a lot worse in the past three days.

Celestia- Here. We had them cleaned for you since you weren’t using them.

Hiei- Hn. Get the pack gathered up. We have to get to the fortress.


* The two females move away. Hiei steps into his pants then stands up to secure them before kicking Dagon awake.


Hiei- Wake up, you lazy-a—ed bird!


* In spite of the sudden, rough awakening Dagon stretches languidly then sighs as he sits up. Hiei throws his cloak on as Dagon looks around to orient himself.


Hiei- I hope you’re finally satisfied, Crow.


* Dagon casts a wide, obviously-very-pleased smile up at Hiei. The Koorime resists the urge to dive down and ravage that goofy smile away. Instead he growls.


Hiei- Why didn’t you.. warn me that it’d last so d--- long?

Dagon- It slipped my mind?


* Hiei rolls his eyes.


Hiei- Find your clothes, ya silly bird. We have to get moving.

Dagon- Shouldn’t we go take a dip in the river?

Hiei- We’ve taken enough.. dips. I’m behind schedule now, thanks to you.


* Hiei hears the younger ones snicker again and turns to look over his gathered pack.


Lily- We certainly didn’t mind the.. entertainment, Baby.

Troiyoku- Hn. Cou and I never had such.. wild sessions.

Silis- Neither have I.


* Troiyoku looks at his half brother questioningly.


Troiyoku- I didn’t see you with anyone, Sil.


* Silis blushes and mumbles as he looks away with his arms crossed.


Silis- I wasn’t.


* Troiyoku gets his meaning and gives him a playful shove with a snort. Silis moves away to get Dagon’s clothes.


Hiei- Glad I kept you all amused. Are we all ready to move out?


* Sarista sombers and glances around the clearing. Hiei calms down when he senses the sudden myriad of emotions coming from his pack. A mixture of sadness, fear, reluctance, and confusion. He takes a moment to marvel at how much clearer he can read them. He then settles on Sarista and moves to embrace her from behind.


Hiei- ‘Ris,.. this is necessary.

Sarista- I know.. I’ll be happy to be wherever you are, Hiei.. It’s just that..

D’Tara- This place has been our home for so long, Master.


* The others voice their various agreements.


Hiei- I understand. The fortress will be much safer for all of you, though.

Lily- Not to mention more befitting of your new position.


* Dagon takes his clothes when Silis brings them over to him.


Silis- We had yours cleaned, too.

Dagon- Thank you, Handsome.


* Silis rolls his eyes and moves away. Hiei watches him go a moment then makes a mental note to speak with his quiet subordinate later.


Hiei- Okay. Let’s go get the others and get going.


* Sarista turns to look at him.


Sarista- You mean the females down in the village.

Hiei- Hn. The cat brothers will be tagging along, too.


* Hiei feels a tug on his cloak and looks down to find a curious pair of miniature Kuramas with little rounded panther-like ears sniffling at him. Eboni blushes and hurries forward to gather up her twins.


Eboni- Please forgive them..


* Hiei touches her arm, then reaches up to make them look at him one at a time. Their eyes are finally open. Even at such a young age he can feel their minds trying to connect with him. Everyone watches the silent exchange curiously. Finally Hiei grunts and lifts his hands to rub both their heads.


Hiei- Hn. I’m glad you both recognize me.


* He meets Eboni’s puzzled gaze.


Hiei- They’re very intelligent, Eboni. You can be proud of them.


* Eboni smiles.


Eboni- I am, sir.

Hiei- Please, just call me Hiei.. or whatever.


* Eboni gives a slight nod and lets Hiei begin to kiss her. He suddenly remembers that they hadn’t got back to their bond refreshing. He loses himself in the kiss for several moments before he finally works back away from her. Eboni catches her breath.


Hiei- We’ll finish this later. Hn?

Eboni- I hope so, M-.. uhhm.. Hiei.. I’ll be glad to see my sisters from the old pack again.


* Hiei nods and moves away from her. He watches each mother gather up their offspring, placing little napsacks of food and such on some of the older ones. It hits him about how fast they’re all growing up. He gets caught away on a brief memory of his own childhood until he notices Lily placing Sylk’s squirming twins in a basket. He then turns and starts off. He’ll deal with that pair another time. The Kitsune then looks around.


Lily- River, come on now. We’re going away with Daddy.


* The little girl gathers up the cloth doll her Aunt Trinka made for her then blinks off to catch up to Hiei. The Koorime doesn’t even break stride as his small daughter crawls up the back of his cloak and comes to rest on his shoulder. He glances a smirk up at her then braces her with one of his hands as he nuzzles her neck. River giggles and gets a handful of his hair to help her hold on. Dagon remains sitting as he watches the pack move off, then he finally stands to bring up the rear, half glancing at Minoro when the Hyena falls back to keep pace beside him. The larger male gives him the same acknowledging half glance as they continue off silently.

I just want to put a little note in here. I’m in the middle of a huge, and I am not exaggerating a bit, snow storm here. I’ve been lucky to have my electricity still, but the news is calling for a second wave starting tomorrow. I’ve already got over a foot of snow on my back porch already! Anyway, if I don’t update for a while, you’ll know why. :o/
