Hiei's Harem - Pt. 12 - Dominating

Well, here we are all at part 12 of my ongoing Hiei saga. If you keep coming back it must mean that I'm doing something right. :o)

Scene 1 ------------ Two Weeks Later


* The Koorime remains in his usual perch on the West Wall of his Ravine. Surveying the area around him. For the past couple weeks things have been quiet. Spring has faded into Summer. His mate, Trinka, has given birth. Her daughter, Trivalia, coming easier of course than Silis’ triplets had. Hiei changes his position slightly when his jagan guides him to do so. He scowls as he ‘watches’ the rogue Coyote demon skirting around the barrier. For the past week three demons had been doing this. Finally, Hiei’s curiousity has been peaked far enough. The dark shadow flits his way down the wall and into the Lynx village, pausing briefly on the roof of the large River Hut to scan the four occupants inside. They are all asleep. He then leaps to the ground and continues on toward the center of the village toward the three familiar huts. He gives no hesitation to moving past Habataro’s three females. They glance up from the large swath of cloth they are putting together only long enough to acknowledge their mate’s Alpha. Hiei goes on inside Habataro’s hut. He isn’t surprised to find him and Coutaro relaxing together on the couch. Both Lynxs look up at him.


Habataro- Master?

Coutaro- What’s wrong?

Hiei- For the past week there’s been three demons scouting around the barrier.

Habataro- They haven’t touched it or we’d know it.

Hiei- They seem to know that it’s there. They’re not weak, lower demons.


* The two brothers stand.


Habataro- Well, let’s go have a look.

Hiei- There’s something else.. There’s another one that I can’t pinpoint, but my jagan keeps alerting me that he’s there.. This fourth demon has a strong cloaking ability.

Coutaro- Well, you have been garnering a lot of attention, sir.


* The three leave the hut. Habataro pauses briefly to check on his busy mates then falls into pace beside Hiei and his brother. When they reach the barrier they find Kumataro already there. The eldest twin Lynx has his arms crossed, obviously observing something intensely enough not to notice their arrival. He starts slightly when Habataro speaks.


Habataro- Something wrong out there, Kuma?


* Kumataro half glances toward them, then nods.


Kumataro- There’s three of ‘em that’s been trying to find a hole in my barrier.

Hiei- Hn. Today it’s a Coyote.


* Kumataro nods, unsurprised at his Alpha’s knowledge. They’ve all become very familiar with Hiei’s abilities. They’ve all noticed, also, that he’s been on edge the past week.


Hiei- I’m tired of this s---.. Make a small opening right.. there.

* He motions toward a spot not far away. The brothers all look at him.


Kumataro- You want to let that Coyote rogue in?

Hiei- Hn. We can handle one rogue, can’t we?

Kumataro- But that’s not just any rogue, Master. His name is Hitaru.


* Hiei half glances toward Hab and Cou when they both growl curses.


Hiei- I could care less, Kuma. Do as I told you. Make sure it’s big enough for him to find easily.. Close the gap as soon as he’s inside.

Kumataro- Yes, sir.


* Kumataro looks toward the barrier.


Coutaro- Should we ask who the other two have been?

Kumataro- Asmaroth and Yushigu.. But today Hitaru is.. by himself.


* They all look up when an Owl floats in through the gap. Hiei’s jagan settles on the large bird immediately as it settles in a nearby tree as seemingly normal as any other bird would.


Hiei(Quietly)- Hn.. You’re the one..


* The Lynxs watch Hiei blink away with his katana drawn. When he returns with Kuli’s headless carcass he tosses it to Coutaro.


Hiei- An Owl spy.. Cook him up and he’ll taste like chicken.


* Coutaro chuckles and nods.


Coutaro- Yeah.. You remember what I said about you getting attention?

Hiei- Hn.

Habataro- You may not like who’s attention you’ve gotten.

Kumataro- He’s found it.


* They all turn to look toward the breech as a Coyote enters through it cautiously. As soon as Hitaru is completely inside Kuma closes the gap. Hitaru feels it shut, glances back toward the wall of fog, then looks toward his welcoming party. He notices Coutaro toss Kuli aside and chuckles as he shifts into his humanoid form.


Hitaru- It’s about time that bird met his end.


* Hiei points his katana toward Hitaru.


Hiei- Make the wrong move and you’ll join him.


* It surprises the Lynx brothers when Hitaru sinks down to one knee.


Hitaru- I’m sure you’ll be interested in hearing what I have to say,.. M’Lord.

Hiei- You have three minutes to convince me, rogue.

Hitaru- I’ve come to warn you.. This may be my only chance to do so since Yushigu and Asmaroth were summoned back.


* Hiei moves closer to face the stranger, keeping his sword ready and his jagan open behind the ward.


Hiei- If this is a trap I’ll know, Coyote.


* Hitaru nods keeping his eyes on Hiei.


Hitaru- I know you will,.. Lord Hiei.

Hiei- You know who I am.. Good.

Hitaru- You’ve got quite a reputation to any demon that travels beyond just these Barren Lands.


* Hitaru closes his eyes smugly.


Hitaru- My goodness, you’ve already conquered over half of the existing packs in this area already.


* Hitaru stands and casts a disdainful glance toward the Lynxs.


Hitaru- Although, I must say, your lack of judgment about who you trust is a bit.. amateurish.


* All three brothers growl until Hiei half glances toward them.


Hiei- I trust no one.. Unless my trust is earned.. You haven’t done so, yet.

Hitaru- Easy, now.. I have information that will help you reach your goal much quicker.. Or is it Lord Mukuro’s..?

Hiei- You’d better speak a lot quicker! My lack of patience is something you need to be more concerned about!

Hitaru- Very well.. There’s really only one obstacle that’ll stand in your way when all is said and done.

Habataro- Ooshama.


* Hiei turns to look at Habataro, recognizing the name from the top of that list Hab had shown him a few weeks back.


Hiei- Hn. I recognize the name.


* Habataro motions toward the Coyote.


Habataro- See that mark on his chest?


* Hitaru snarls as Hiei looks back to examine him.


Habataro- It means that he’s one of Ooshama’s slaves.

Kumataro- Hitaru is one of only about a half a dozen Coyotes left from his pack.. The only reason those half dozen were allowed to live is because they allowed that reptile to f--- them.


* Hiei holds a hand up silencing the cats and re-focuses on Hitaru.


Hitaru- I was young.. I had no idea what I was.. agreeing to.. I would do anything to have this.. shame removed.

Hiei- Will you allow me to explore your mind?


* Hitaru tilts his head down at Hiei.


Hitaru- Ex-plore my..?


* Hiei reaches up to remove his bandana. When Hitaru recognizes what is revealed he cowers back and hits his knees again.


Hiei- You’ll allow it.. or you’ll die right now.

Hitaru- Uh.. W-well I-I guess I.. have no choice.. W-what is that?


* Now it’s Hiei’s turn to smirk.


Hiei- Your executioner.. if you resist.. I thought you said that you knew me?


* Hitaru stumbles backward onto his rear as Hiei approaches. He holds up his hands defensively.


Hitaru- W-wait, I.. I..

Hiei- Relax.. and this will be painless.. Resist.. and I could care less.


* Hitaru slowly lowers his hands. Not long after he looks back up at Hiei his eyes go blank. Habataro knows not to intefere, since he and his brothers had gone through the same process, so he moves back beside his brothers. They all watch at the safe distance behind Hiei and wait. Barely five minutes later Hiei glances toward them. He’s felt the familiar sensation of finally breaking through the Coyote’s defenses and now has full access.


Hiei- This won’t take long.


* The Koorime then closes his true eyes, crosses his arms, and concentrates. Within fifteen minutes he knows everything he needs to. He opens his eyes again.


Hiei- When you wake up you’ll remember nothing from the moment before you found the breech in the barrier except the orders I’ve given you.. Now take a little nap.


* Hiei steps back and looks at the brothers when Hitaru slumps sideways in a curled up heap, sucking his thumb.


Hiei- Kuma, toss this garbage back out of here, then close the barrier.


* Kumataro hurries to gather up the Coyote, gives him a toss through the slim breech he creates again, then closes it quickly. The cats all look at Hiei again.


Hiei- I know everything I need to know.

Coutaro- So will you share with us?


* Hiei smirks up at them, then turns and starts off. The Lynxs exchange glances then hurry to follow after him.
