Most Emotional Equivalent Zooming Truough

?Keiko: Mizuko-chan'll handle the disclaimer.
Mizuko: I and Keiko-kun own a select amount of characters. The ones we don't we do not make money off of and belong to the respective creators and publishers.
Keiko: Now, on the writing.

~Outside of an Jump City~
The wind blew causing the clouds to emphasize the full moon that was out and the stars winked. The screeching of a plane’s wheels sounded loudly through the land port.
“We should tell Koenma ‘thanks for the plane’ one day,” stated a 17 year-old girl. The girl wore her high school uniform, the school emblem of Ame Bara emblazoned on the front pocket of her black blazer with red trim, a white dress shirt, a black tie and her pants were black flannel, as it was the boy’s version of the uniform. Her hair was the oddest feature on her however, she had black tresses with downward points, a blonde-brown starburst that leaned to the left and red streaks.
“Um….Mizuko-chan…” a tall, but thin girl called out, her hair was a light shade of brown and it came mid-length and fell rather wildly around her face. This girl was jumping down the plane stairs. One of her dark eyebrows rose at the crimson eyed girl, “Why?”
“Good point. Why thank Koenma, prince of the spirit world, for the plane that got us to America, Keiko?” Mizuko asked the taller girl, sarcastically.
“He’s a butt-head,” Keiko replied. Unlike Mizuko, Keiko wore the girl’s version of the Ame Bara uniform. The skirt was grey and fell to her ankles. Her blazer, which was grey with red trim, was hanging off her arm instead of being over her button down collared shirt and tie. Keiko uttered under her breath, “I hate this skirt.”
Mizuko giggled, “Then why’d you where it?”
“I don’t know.”
There was a long period of silence following.
“So….” Keiko broke the silence, “we’re visiting Dick first?”
Mizuko nodded, “Then we go to Dakota to visit your half-brother.”
Jorge, the pilot, who was a tall, muscular, blue ogre, {Keiko: And I’m not talking about his mood.} he had a bald crown with blonde hair surrounding it, a white horn, and he wore a leopard-skin loin cloth, like Tarzan {Keiko: -.<}. He asked, ”Do you need a ride to Dakota?”
“Um, no thanks, Jorge, we can handle it from now on,” Keiko waved him off dismissively. “Bai-Bai!” was shouted to him cheerfully as he re-boarded the plane.
“Jorge bugs me,” Mizuko stated, earning a questioning gaze from Keiko, who then shrugged it off.
Silence once again overcame the area. A light breeze blew again, the clocks showed 11:54, crickets chirped, and the cityscape was lovely.
“So, do we say ‘Hi’ the boring-ring-the-doorbell-way or the fun way?” Keiko asked, and then promptly grinned when she saw Mizuko’s eyes glint mischievously.

A boy of 17 or 18 years old, wearing a black strip mask and a red, yellow, and green suit {Keiko: Looks like spandex. ^. ^ Mizuko: Why is it when you say that it disturbs me?>.>} with an ‘R’ symbol on the left side of his chest, paced the living room, listening to his CD player and eating Lemon Bars.
A red light blinked on and off as a fog horn sounded.
“Titans! There’s been a robbery!” he shouted reading the large computer screen. “It’s at….a…Candy Store!”
“Dude, why do all the thieves rob at night?!” Beastboy whined as he yawned rubbed the sleep from his eyes; he was annoyed that his rest had been interrupted once again.

~Somewhere in a candy shop~
BAM! The explosion blew through the windows and door, disrupting the quiet night.
“That was so…..COOL!” Keiko shouted, joyfully using her power even though it was only in a small amount. Keiko had the ability to implode. Or explode any object she wanted; she had a natural spirit energy, which she manipulated to her will, but ever since the purple gas expedition in Dakota two years ago, it was more powerful, more…explosive.{Keiko: It’s a bad pun, I know.}
“Did you have to do that?” Mizuko asked dryly, eating a tootsie roll.
“No, but I did anyway,” Keiko smiled, causing Mizuko to shrug.
“Mizuko?!” a male voice broke through to the two teenage girls. As Keiko and Mizuko looked toward the door that Keiko had blown up, they blinked. ”Nani?”
After a moment the two smiled and in unison replied to him, “Hi, Robin.”
“I see you haven’t changed the outfit design. Doesn’t it ever get old?” Mizuko gibed. Returning to her candy, Mizuko dismissed him. Keiko, on the other hand, stared at him and the other Titans blankly.
”Why are the two of you robbing a candy store?”
“We’re not robbing a candy store.”
“What do you call this?”
“Um…Letting ourselves in to buy candy,” Keiko answered.
“The store was closed,” stated a very pale skinned teen.
“We’re. Leaving. The. Money. On. The. Counter.” Keiko spoke as if she was talking to a child, while spinning her fingers around in a ‘do you understand’ fashion.
“I’m confused, Robin. You know them?” a crimson haired teen, whom had solid green eyes.
'Freaky,' Keiko thought to herself. 'I hate her outfit. That skirt calls to perverts'. Suddenly, a piece of candy floated by, “CANDY!” she shouted pouncing on it.
“She,” Robin said, warily pointing to Mizuko, “is my sister, Mizuko and that one,” Keiko glared, shrugged and ate another Reese’s Cup, “is my sister's friend."
“Gee…I feel so loved,” Keiko said dryly, opening a bag of M&M’s.
“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!!?!” the candy store owner, Bunny, yelled.
“See, I told you the manager was here,” Keiko said, popping a piece of candy into her mouth.
“NO, YOU DIDN’T!!” the Titans shouted at the light brown haired girl.
‘Okay, maybe, not directly…’ Keiko thought to herself.
“You didn’t give her the chance,” Mizuko stated off handedly.
Keiko and Mizuko squealed cheerfully, turning their attention to the young administrator. “Hello, Bunny!”
“Hi, guys. What’s up?” Bunny asked, casually.
“They were robbing your store,” Raven, the hooded teen, stated in a monotone voice.
“No, they weren’t,” Bunny retorted, “I knew they were here.”
“See? See?” Mizuko and Keiko cried in union. The Titans anime fell.
“B-but they tripped the alarm, blew out your door, AND YOU KNEW THEY WERE DOING IT!?!?!?” Cyborg finished with a shout.
Bunny rolled her eyes, “Didn’t I answer that already? Yes!”
Off to the side Beastboy’s ears perked up, “Bunny? That’s your name? You sure it’s not a nickname?”
“It’s my given name,” Bunny stated with a smile.
Keiko grinned off to the side, “Her parents had problems.”
“Keiko….”
“What?”
“I hate you…..”
“No, you don’t."
"You're right....I hate that."
"I know," was the response that came from Keiko before the half-Japanese girl stuck her tongue out at her long time friend. Near the two the Titans stared, lost further in confusion.
"What are you doing here, Mizuko?" Robin questioned his abnormal cousin, wary of the reply.
"Well, we came here on the way to Dakota to see Keiko's half-brother. We stopped to say 'Hi!' to you since it was on the way. 'Cause we wanted, well, I wanted to, too. Then, Keiko asked if we were going to say 'Hi!' the boring way or the fun way. I chose the fun way and here we are. HI!"
As Robin had expected his cousin's response had his ears ringing and his head spinning. Her reviewing of her arrival had been rushed out in one breath and with a dizzying speed. A quick glance to his teammates, showed them to be in similar predicaments as he was.

~At the Burger Fool in Dakota~
"Rich....YO! RICH WAKE UP!"
"Huh?" was the eloquent reply from the blond haired genius, Richie Foley. Who proceeded to push his oval shaped glasses up to the bridge of his nose so he could better see his best friend, Virgil. The young African American's amber stared in concern back to Richie. "Sorry, V, guess I'm a little out of it."
"A LITTLE out of it?" Was the response Richie chose to ignore, heeding the wise words of others. Something’s were just meant to be over-looked, besides he has larger concerns with other happenings.
"My half sister and one of her friends are coming over for spring break." The super-genius explained.
"Half-sister? REALLY!? Weird," stated before adding an after thought. "They're ALREADY on spring break? No fair!"
"Yeah, my half-sister, Keiko, is only younger then me by 6 months." Richie informed his static charged companion. Then watched as the other teen spewed orange soda on the pavement. "Ew...Gross, man."
"You're not disturbed by this at all?"
"You're spitting soda all over the ground? Yes." (KeikoAN: He's got a bit of a one track mind.)
"NO! I mean, that you have a half-sister only 6 months younger then you!"
"No. Not really," Richie replied, flippantly. "I've known her my whole life."
"Seriously?" Richie only nodded a confirmation to his friend.

~The T-car just outside of Dakota City~
"FREEDOM!" Keiko shouted as she launched herself out of Cyborg's car. (MizukoAN: I think Keiko had a bout of claustrophobia.) Turning to Cyborg Keiko raised an eyebrow, before placing her hands behind her head and staggering off. A sarcastic reply was tossed over her shoulder as she walked "I'd give you a quarter for the ride, but I don't have one." No one understood this so they shrugged it off.
After a few steps, Keiko paused in her walking. Another moment and she asked herself as she stared down the street from the gas station, "Now which way their house?"
Beside the chestnut haired teen, Mizuko sweat-dropped." I think it was left, Keiko-kun."
Behind the two, the Titans stared at the strange pair. It became apparent to Raven, Robin was most definitely adopted.

~On a roof somewhere~
Richie sighed as he continued with his patrol. Thugs were pretty boring, despite his gut telling him things were about to get real exciting and soon. He jolted when the Meta-human alarm on Backpack went off.
"I wasn't expecting it to be this soon!" he muttered, taking off in the direction Backpack's map displayed on his visor. As Richie finished the report he com-linked his partner, "Hey, Static. There's a Meta-human robbery in progress down at the Museum of Histories."

~The end of a chapter and beginning of authors notes~

Mizuko: Hey, Keiko-kun ?
