Birth Of A Spirit Detective
*Just bored and trying to waste time so that I don't have to do my Dialectical Notes. I hope you enjoy the little-kinda long I dunno really know-drabble. Aw crap I forgot! I do NOT own Yu Yu Hakusho or any of the characters. I just own the plot, Yusuke's sister, Hope, and the teeny tiny bundle of cute Yusuke-like-joy, his new baby son.*
Keiko smiled peacefully down at the small bundle in her arms. The tiny infant giggled as she tickled his little stomach softly. Her body ached from the aftermath of the son she had just given birth to. Her head turned to the door as her husband and the father of her child came into the room carrying the biggest glass of water she had ever seen in her life.
"How are you feeling sweetheart?" Yusuke smiled at his wife.
"Better. Not best but better," she smiled back just as sweetly.
"Good!" Yusuke kissed Keiko's head gently, handing her the glass of water. He sat down next to her, curling his arm around her shoulder while he leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on his newborn son's head.
"How is he?" Yusuke asked not taking his eyes off his new child.
"Great! He's so...happy," Keiko laughed softly.
Yusuke nuzzled Keiko's neck remembering how difficult it was to bring his bundle of joy into the world.

Yusuke sighed deeply.
"I don't understand," he said, sorrowfully.
"Yusuke," Keiko spoke," I'm not saying that I can't get pregnant but the doctor said it's going to be very difficult for me to conceive. Something about scar tissue."
"Scar tissue from what?" Yusuke asked, tears forming in his eyes.
"I don't know exactly. I mean over the years of you fighting demons, I have taken a couple hits and...maybe that's what did it," she finished, sitting down and wrapping her arms around his shoulders.
"So you're telling me we're never gonna have kids?" Yusuke's voice was trembling violently.
"I'm not saying I can't get pregnant just that it's gonna be hard. But even if I can't...there are always options Yusuke."
Yusuke stood up.
"We're not fucking adopting. I'm sorry that sounds cruel but I want our own kids. With my eyes and your smile and our blood," he said.
Yusuke placed a hand on the nearest wall of the basement of their house. Keiko sighed deeply getting up and kissing his cheek softly. She rubbed his back for a few moments. After whispering an apology in his ear, she left to finish cooking dinner upstairs.
For three and half months, the couple tried for a child but to no avail. On the fourth day of the new month, the couple's hopes died and they gave up on the idea of having children.
Late one night, after a quiet dinner, Keiko and Yusuke went off to bed. Midnight was approaching fast and with it came the expected meteor shower. Keiko softly prodded Yusuke in the stomach. He got up and blink tiredly at the window. He smiled softly and quickly grabbed the huge blanket out from underneath their bed.
He spread the blanket out on the grass in their backyard. He prompted Keiko to lay down in his arms. When she did, he wrapped the blanket tightly around their bodies as the shower fell beautifully. Keiko snuggled into Yusuke's chest, inhaling his musky scent deeply.
His lips met hers in a passionate kiss, that sent a shiver up and down her spine. She adored the gentle and more tender side of her husband that he showed few people, her being one of those few. His hand crawled down her spine and gripped her backside softly. She giggled knowing that if he done that fifteen years earlier she would have slapped him, but now she welcomed it. Wanted it. Wanted him.
Her hand stroked through his hair, as their tongues danced in harmonious union. He took off her robe exposing her creamy skin to his. Pressing his chest to hers, his lips worked their way down to her collar bone while her hands slowly slipped off his boxers.
Once they were off, Yusuke gripped her waist and pushed deeply into her, growling loudly into her collar causing her shiver once more. Keiko wrapped her arms around Yusuke's neck, moaning loudly into his flesh throughout the night. In the early morning, the lovers awoke, sore but sated.
"Morning," Yusuke smiled.
"Morning," Keiko replied, kissing Yusuke deeply," want some breakfast sweetheart?"
"Oh yes!" Yusuke kissed her twice on the head before standing up, scooping his blanket covered wife in his arms and taking her into the bedroom to dress.
One month later, Keiko stood in the bathroom, sick to her stomach awaiting her sister-in-law who went to the store to buy some nausea medicine. When Hope returned, she entered the bathroom with the medicine but also a box.
"What's this?" Keiko asked her, wiping her mouth and flushing the toilet.
"A pregnancy test," Hope shrugged," you never know!"
Keiko smiled.
"I think it's obvious it's not going to happen."
Keiko took the test anyway. After a few minutes she called Hope into the bathroom practically in tears. Hope grabbed the stick from Keiko's hand and threw it in the sink to hug the brunette tightly.
"Congratulations honey!! Oh my god Yusuke is gonna be so excited!" Hope screamed. She dropped to her knees.
"Hello baby!" Hope smiled," hello little niece or nephew!"
Keiko cried loudly but happily. All the commotion caused the rest of the gang who had come over to Yusuke's house for a dinner party, to come running into the bathroom.
"What the hell is going on?" Yusuke asked.
"I'm pregnant Yusuke!" Keiko yelled happily, throwing her arms around his neck. Yusuke's eyes went wide along with the smile that spread across his face.
"Holy shit!" He laughed happily holding onto Keiko tightly. His left hand instinctively went to her lower stomach while his smile grew wider...

Yusuke smiled down at the infant, wagging his finger in his son's face. The little boy smiled, grabbing his finger and suckling on the tip. The proud parents laughed softly, kissing each other deeply.
"I love you Yusuke."
"I love you too Keiko."
* Well I hope you liked. I was bored and I thought this would be a cute idea...*
