The Girl Next Door

THE GIRL NEXT DOOR
Before anyone yells “MARY SUE!!!” just know that this is nothing to do with it. Yeah Becca gets pregnant, and yes, it is by one of the Team, but if you just read you will understand. She is there to bring out the love for each other (i.e. kxh & yxk).
Disclaimer- I do not own YYH or the characters, I do own Becca however, leave me alone about her actions...
Note- Yes I did get the title and idea for this story from the movie TGND, and it was my first idea to make Becca an ex porn star, but that just seemed too wrong.

The car outside was completely unpacked now. Kurama glanced towards the house next to his. Hiei had checked it out already, and found that the new girl was an American writer. She was young but old enough the live on her own apparently.

Hiei tapped his friend on the shoulder, “I take it you’re planning to ask her out?”

Kurama laughed, “No…no of course not! She’s too old!”

Hiei shrugged, “Only nineteen. You’re seventeen, doesn’t seem that old to me.” He shoved his hands into his pockets and leaned against the wall.

Kurama glanced at Hiei and smiled. Hiei’s eyes were closed, he was frustrated for some odd reason, but to Kurama it looked cute…not that he’d tell his friend that. Hiei was just that to him, his friend. Kurama would never tell the secret dreams he had when Hiei wasn’t there.

“What are you looking at?” asked Hiei as he opened his eyes. The redhead shook his head and looked back at the window.

Hiei walked towards the window and opened it, he had glanced at the clock, it was almost time for Shiori Minamino to be home, and the first thing she always did was check Kurama’s room.

“I’ll meet you later Hiei,” Kurama promised meaning at the girl’s front door to introduce themselves. Within just a few moments Kurama heard the familiar knock on his door. He looked to the spot where his friend had been standing, nothing. Nodding curtly he walked towards the door, opening it he saw the kind face of his mother.

Shiori smiled, “Hello dear, how are you feeling?”

Kurama smiled, “I’m fine Mother.”

His mother smiled, “Well then, I’d like to ask you to go meet our neighbor later. I met her at the store earlier, she seems very kind, I think you two would become friends.”

Kurama nodded and agreed to meet the girl, just as he had already planned. Only difference was now he had to have a long unending conversation with her, just because his mother would like them to be friends. He sighed and walked to the window.

Gasping Kurama turned away and dropped to the floor. He couldn’t believe it…he hadn’t meant to see her, not like that.

After a few moments he slowly raised his head and noticed she now sat on the bed, fully clothed, Thank God…she got dressed, who the hell takes a shower in the middle of the day?

Apparently he had been staring, because the next thing Kurama knew the girl was looking at him.

The window next to his opened, the girl poked her head outside resting it on her arms, “Hi.”

Kurama stared more, a few moments later she laughed, “I’m Rebecca Donelle.”

Snapping out of his trance Kurama stutters, “Shu-shuichi…”

Rebecca smiled again, “You must be Shiori’s son…a pleasure.”

Kurama nodded and cause her to laugh again, “Care to come over? It might be a little easier than talking by window.” Her blue eyes glanced down for a moment, “By the way, are you friends with that short boy….um Hiei?”

Kurama nodded again, “You know his name?”

She nodded, “Yeah, we had a friendly little talk.”

Sorry that this is short. I would paste all that I have but for the moment I need something to go on, give me a moment and I will have another chapter up. I'm writing as fast as I can and as we speak I'm getting closer to finishing another chapter.
