Akai Bara (red rose) was sitting on a river bank in Makai, her long brown hair swaying in the wind...she was a very well known fox demon but not as well known as the infamous Youko Kurama, this upset her. Her red eyes squinted as her brown ears and tail stirred a bit. She thought about Youko Kurama...she had met him once. He saved her when she was held captive by some demons she was trying to rob. She can still remember what he said to her..." stay out of trouble".
She decided to walk along the bank for a bit when who should she meet, but the thief himself. The last time she met him, he was surrounded by a band of theives but this time he seemed to be traveling alone..she hid behind a rock so he could not see her. He was shirtless and lying on the very green grass with his eyes closed. She walked toward him and bravely brought her face close to his, in order to inspect it properly. She noticed that he looked even more handsome upclose. He opened his golden eyes to stare at her blood red ones.
" what are you doing?" asked Youko closing his eyes again
" Nothing much" said Akai sitting next to him
" Hmmn " said Youko thoughtfully
" hmmn what?" asked Akai
" for a second there I could sense your attraction to me " said Youko seriously
Akai blushed and Youko seemed indifferent.
" your name is Akai Bara, right? " asked Youko his eyes still closed
"yeah" she answered suprised he had remembered her
" you didn't think I'd remember you?" asked Youko chuckling
"umm..." replied Akai somewhat shocked by his question
" you honestly think I would let you get that close to me, without me knowing who you are?" Youko asked again
"umm...I" Akai said in a attempt to answer
" calm down if I was going to kill you I would have done it already" said Youko
The thought did not comfort Akai. Youko sensing this opened his eyes.
" are you afraid of me? " asked Youko
" n-no " Akai stuttered
Youko seems depressed at her uncertainty.
" oh " he said in a non-chalant fashion
He got up and put on his shirt and walked away. Akai quickly followed him.
" What?" he asked
" that was rude " she said sternly
" excuse me..." said Youko
" yeah...excuse you" said Akai
Youko turned to leave again, this time Akai grabbed his shirt and it tore. She panicked in fright.
"s-sorry" she stuttered
" That's okay " he said slyly moving closer to her
Instinctivly she moved closer also, thier lips brushed against each other lightly and Akai blushed again. She had never been this close to a boy before...her life was strictly thievery since birth. She told him this and he told her to meet him at the river bank later to be her first.
But he never showed up.
