Chapter one

Yoko had decided enough was enough!
Suichi was such a pitiful excuse for a fox!
The fox spirit inside of the ningen was shaking his head in defeat.
The boy had been in love with this ningen girl for… 3 years now? And he never did anything about it but look at her when no one was paying attention!
Yoko had definitely enough!
Keiko was a beautiful, sexy girl.
Why such a woman loved a fool like the detective was a mystery to Yoko.
No matter what Yusuke did she would take him back. Yoko couldn’t believe it was possible for anyone to be that nice.
Shuichi saw in her the perfect wife for his human family; for Yoko she was the incarnation of the perfect mate. He decided that they must have her. Let Yusuke look for someone else!
So Yoko took advantage of Shuichi’s sleepy mind and gained control of their body. The Kitsune was determined to change sweet Keiko’s mind completely! He would make sure that she would love them, not Yusuke!
With that thought in his mind the silver haired fox spirit was out of the window of their home and on his way to Keiko.

Ukimura* residence

Keiko was looking at the ring she inherited from her aunt Nuriko.
She and her aunt had never gotten along; in fact, they had constantly fought each other for, well, ever!
Why she out of all of her family inherited aunt Nuriko’s money was a mystery to Keiko.
The ring was another surprise.
Her aunt had never taken it from her finger, ever! Keiko had been positive she would take the ring with her to her last rest, but instead she had made it very clear that no one but Keiko got the ring after her death.
The ring was a masterpiece of art. It was a beautiful blue stone set in a silver band in the shape of a star. The ring was simply beautiful!
`I wish Yusuke would give me something beautiful like this;’ she thought mindlessly and then said it aloud to herself.
Talking to herself was a bad habit of Keiko’s; only presenting itself when she was alone. Keiko sometimes did it unconsciously in order to put her often frustrated mind at ease and make things clear to herself.
“Hmph. Like that’s going to happen. I could wish that Kurama could fly or Kazuma would be kissed by the most beautiful girls around, and that would come true before Yusuke would do something like that.”
Keiko sighed and got up to take a hot shower.
In her distracted state Keiko missed the faint blue glow that came from the ring for a moment.

Far away from her position

Yoko felt very light all of a sudden.
In fact he was …flying?!
After he was over the initial shock the fox tried his best to get his feet back on solid ground, cursing under his breath the entire time, and trying very hard to make some sense of this!

At the Kuwabara residence, outside the door

Kazuma Kuwabara was searching for his keys.
Another boring day was over and every girl in the town was avoiding him as usual.
Suddenly a beautiful blond woman came up to him and gave him a mind blowing kiss before he could even think to ask her what she was doing!
His sister Shizuru could only stand beside him and watch the unexpected scene, with wide eyes and an expression of disbelief on her face.

At Yoko’s position

He had been trying frantically to get his feet back on the ground for at least ten minutes, the only result was that he had changed positions, and now, instead of his feet pointing toward the ground, they were pointing towards the sky, and his head was pointing at the ground.
The direct result of this was slight nausea and loud cursing.
How could Jin stand this? Lord it was a mystery to the spirit fox!
Yoko gradually became very angry about his strange situation
He used every curse he knew against the person who had gotten him into this humiliating situation. If he ever found out who had done this to him he would personally kill them!
Yoko only hoped that no one would see him like this.
Especially not… him!
“What are you doing over there Fox?!?” he heard a smooth voice from below him ask.
I have no luck! Yoko thought dejectedly.
Why were the gods so cruel to him today?
Under him stood a slightly confused looking apparition named Hiei who was trying his hardest not to laugh at the comical show his companion had been putting on for the past ten minutes

At the Ukimura* residence

As Keiko left the bathroom, she sneezed suddenly.
Thinking she might be getting a cold she turned to her room.
She was greeted with the long stemmed red roses she had gotten from Kurama just two days before. When she looked at them she thought about the red haired fox spirit and his full-blood Kitsune counterpart again
“Sometimes I wish Yoko-san would be as polite as Kurama-san and equally nice and caring!
Dear lord, he would be more gorgeous then as he is now!
And that Hiei-san would be a little nicer! Then everybody would not be so cruel to him.
I really wish that Yusuke could not lie for one day! He lied to me today again! I really can’t stand this much longer! Why can’t he be as polite as Kurama-san?
…….!
I’ve been thinking about Kurama-san too much lately!”
With that the brunette got herself something to wear.
“Genkai was so beautiful when she was young. She hasn’t been feeling too good these past days, and her health is getting worse! I really wish sometimes she would be young again! Then she would not have these problems with her health.”
Suddenly Yukinas sad face from this afternoon came to her mind;
“Oh I would do anything to bring her, her twin brother so she could be happy again! I wish it would go `Puff` and she would stand beside him and would know that he is her brother! Then Yukina would never have to cry about him again!”


At Yoko’s position

Hiei suddenly stopped his laughing.
He suddenly felt that he…wasn’t being very nice to do so?!
‘What is happening here?’ the jaganshi thought, slightly confused. Suddenly he got the strong urge to help the now nearly hysterical looking Kitsune back to the earth.
‘Strange,’ Hiei thought.

Yoko, on the other hand, was feeling rather funny now.
He was definitely not in his best mood.
Nope, this was definitely not his day!
When Hiei suddenly tried to help him to get his feet back to the floor they both ended up into a very…. compromising position in mid air!
For one moment they both were very quiet, but then both of them surprised the other with an apology, only to quiet down again.
“Something here isn’t right;” Yoko began their awkward conversation after the two minutes of embarrassing silence that followed the outcome of Hiei´s first try to help.
“Yes! Do you have any idea what’s going on here?!” Hiei looked ready to kill something or someone.
“No, I really have not the slightest idea Hiei-san, but I assure you I will find out who has done this!”
(Why am I being this polite all out of sudden, he idly asked himself? San??)
“Do you have a clue how we get you back to earth?” Hiei´s face had a reddish taint from their awkward position when he asked Yoko this. Not to mention his confused look at the way Yoko addressed him!
“No, but I am sure … oh no! This really is not happening to me!!”
Yukina chose that moment to appear out of nothing with a loud… `Puff`!
“Hiei-san? Yoko!!”

Kuwabara residence

Shizuru silently took in the fact that every woman on the street suddenly seemed to want to kiss her baby brother! She really had no clue what was going on here, but hell, she would rather die than stop this show!!

At Genkai’s *

The old soul had felt ill the entire day.
Her mood worse than any ever before!
Suddenly the old lady felt a tingling sensation in her body, but before she could ask the ice maiden beside her what was happening to her, Yukina disappeared right before her eyes with a loud… Puff!
`Strange`; The old woman thought after blinking her eyes two times, then she lifted her right hand to her face to take the pink coloured lock out of her eyes.
`Wait a minute…..!`
`Pink?! `

At Yoko’s

Both demons turned their heads to the owner of the voice at the same time.
Yoko was frantically searching for a good apology whilst quietly cursing every god who dared to listen, and Hiei felt pure horror rising inside him at the look on Yukina’s face!
He knew from that look that she somehow knew that he was her brother!
`Where did she learn this? Who told her anyway?!`
And from the rest of her expression he could clearly read that she was about to ask what the hell they both where doing there in the air in the position they where in.
Hiei suddenly got the strong feeling this was not his day!
“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you that I can explain this, would you Yukina-chan?”
Yoko’s sudden question helped him escape the wrath of his sister.

At the Ukimura° residence

Keiko thought a while about what the Kitsune would do if he could really fly.
“No, if he could fly, he would only make more trouble than he has before! I think I wish that he had never learned it!”
She made her bed and crawled into the covers, after thinking awhile about the fact that she had not gotten a single good night’s sleep for three days because someone was always interrupting her rest lately!
“I wish I could sleep one night without interruptions,” she said with a yawn, “and that no one could enter my room for one night. And everyone who tried it would be send straight into the nearest pool of mud! And that Shizuru and her brother could get some rest without any ghosts tonight! They had had too much of that lately.”
With that she laid her head onto her pillow and drifted into sleep.
Not aware of the constant faint glows from her ring with every wish she made!

Kuwabara residence

Suddenly the kissing stopped.
Kazuma was certain that he had never been happier then he was now!!
Shizuru stood behind him in their entry, and shook her head in a disbelieving manner.
“This is the definitely craziest evening ever!!” She told her little brother after she found her voice again, and then both siblings entered their home to get some rest.

At Yoko’s place, half an hour and many explanations later,

After Yoko told Yukina what had happened to him and Hiei, he suddenly felt a strong pull downwards;
`Oh Noo! The gods are cruel!!’ was all he could think before three things happened at once:
First, Yukina leaped into Hiei´s arms with a loud, “Brother!” on her lips;
Next, Hiei caught her in his arms with a blank look on his face,
And last but not least, they all fell down on the floor with a loud thump!
But most important to the poor Kitsune was the fact that they landed right on his stomach!!
After Yoko got his senses back he vowed silently to himself that he’d never again wish that he could fly!

At Genkai’s *

Only one word could be heard loudly ringing through the still and peaceful night at the temple,
“KOENMAAA!?!”

At Keiko’s

Outside the Ukimura * residence, was a completely unaware Yusuke trying to enter Keiko’s window.
He had felt the strong urge to buy her some jewelry late in the evening, and was now on his way to give her it.
It was late and he had wanted to surprise her with the present so he decided to enter through her window.
Suddenly an unknown force took the surprised Hanyou by his collar and drew him first into the air and then dropped his target right into the next pool of mud.
