Summary: Aara was a fox kitsune who fell in love and mated with a bat demon while keeping this from her overprotective brother. Now she's human, so is he and her brother. Will she be able to find her mate before her brother finds out about them? And what happened to their son and daughter they had as demons?So many questions.....read and you'll find the answers.

The Dream, a Promise and a Song
She was running, ahead of her were two figures, one light and one dark. They stopped and waited for her to catch up, she simply held out a jewel and they nodded as she put it back her pocket. Never uttering a word, this was the way, Youko Aara, her brother Youko Kurama and her mate, Kuronue stole. In seconds an alarm went off and spirit hunters ran towards the three powerful thieves, Kurama and Kuronue managed to dodge all of the arrows, but she couldn't dodge one and it went into her leg. She gritted her teeth in pain as she continued to run, Kuronue, seeing something was wrong, pulled her into a bush after telling Kurama to go ahead without them. Kurama took one last look before running off at full speed. Kuronue pulled the arrow from her leg as she saw a vision flash before her, knowing what it ment she looked into her mate's eyes.
"Kuronue, go"
"but Aara, you can't escape without my help"
"It was ment for this to happen, I saw it"
"I can't leave you, I won't"
"you must, I don't want you to die, I will flee to the Ningenaki and get reborn as a human"
"Aara......"
"GO, NOW!"
Nodding, Kuronue kissed her cheek quickly and left trying to ignore the pain in his heart. she stood up as the spirit hunters found her and fired their spirit bullets at her, spirit bullets were made especially to kill a kitsune.
"NO!!!!!!!!"
She sat up quickly and sighed, "Why must I be tortured by my past as a kitsune? Kuronue, I'll find a way back to you, I swear it"
Tess sighed as she stood on her balcony at the end of the day, she was busy as a human therfor hardly had any time to herself to think of her past. She has chestnut hair that rests on her shoulders while her green eyes show no emotion until she is by herself. Her demon form, Youko Aara has long dark blue hair with silver highlights along with golden eyes like her brother's. In this human body all she can do is use her swordmanship skills and power over plants, she can't summon her fire or ice powers. Sure, she can see into the future, but only when she needs to, its not something she can do when she wants to. She wished she could go back to the Makai, to be held in her mate's strong arms, he was so perfect to her, when she was with him, nothing else in the world mattered to them as long as they had each other. He has indigo eyes and long black hair that he always kept up in a high ponytail. She would be 18 tomorrow but she wasn't sure of her age as a demon because demons had such long lives, much longer than humans. She softly began to sing a song she had heard here in the Ningenaki, to let Kuronue know, she still loved him and missed him dearly, the song is called Don't Say Goodbye.

Tears falling down her cheeks, Tess turned and went back inside to go to bed, she prayed where ever Kuronue was that he knew she still loved him and was trying her hardest to get back to him.

AyumiKitsune: I hope everyone liked it, the song, Don't Say Goodbye is by Paulina Rubio, I have a few songs that I like that I have found, I might include more in this fanfiction but I don't know yet. This is my first fanfiction, so good and bad reviews will be nice, I don't really want bad reviews but we all need to know if we made a mistake or is bad at something right?
