Chapter 1: This I Promise You




PROLOGUE:



Hiei and I have been married for six years now. On our forth Anniversary, Hiei went to the U.S. When he got on the plane. He ever
came back. I don't even know if he reached the U.S. I'm still waiting for him. Today will be our seventh Anniversary. Oh, how I missed you Hiei. All the times we had together. The fun we had. I'm so lonely with out you Hiei.

Kurama stared at a picture of Hiei and smiled. Tears came down his eyes. Kurama wiped his eyes. Kurama leaded agasint a big pillow and closed his eyes.


There was a knock on the door. Kurama opened the door. On the ground layed a tape. It said "To my Kurama."

"What's this?" Kurama asked as he walked back to the t.v. He popped the tape in the VCR. He sat down on the couch. Kurama started hearing a voice.

A voice he wanted to here for so all. "Happy Anniversary Babe!" Kurama looked at the t.v. to find Hiei smiling. Hiei held up a gift. "This is for you. But since you can't get it. I got something else" Hiei smiled.

Seeing Hiei smile made Kurama blushed. Kurama haven't seen Hiei for years. "Hiei!" Kurama cried. Tears ran down his face. Kurama went to the T.V. He touched it.

Kurama wanted to touch Hiei. He wanted to feel his warm skin again. Kurama wanted to kiss Hiei so badly. But no matter what Kurama wanted to do to Hiei, He could. Tears ran down his cheeks.

"Stop crying Kurama. It's our Anniversary!" Hiei smiled. "Hiei!" Kurama sobbed as he smiled. I'm gonna sing you a song. Now go sit down." Hiei smiled. Kurama sat back down on the couch. He stopped crying. He blushed and smiled.

"Are you ready?" Hiei asked as he picked up a guitar. He ran his fingers through the strings. "I'm gonna play this with the guitar k. If I miss up, well that's because I'm not every good at this. Even in years of training." Hiei smiled. "Okay..."

"When the visions around you"

"Bring tears to your eyes"

Kurama covered his mouth with his hands. Tears ran down his face. That was the song that was played at there wedding. Kurama had loved that song so much. "Kurama remember our wedding. You cried through it. That was the happiest day of my life." Hiei smiled.
"Yes....it was...." Kurama smiled back.

"And I will take you in my arms"

"And hold you right where you belong"

"I'm sorry I'll be a little late for our anniversary Kurama...You can scream and hit me when I get there..." Hiei smiled as he played the guitar. Kurama was smiling. "We're gonna get hurt Hiei...." tears came down his face.

"Will you hurt anymore"

"This is a battle we’ve won"

Kurama watched Hiei sing. Kurama had ever thought Hiei would do something like that. Kurama sat there blushing as tears rolled down his cheeks. "I know I've been gone a long time Kurama. Only if I can turn back time to fix everything...So you wouldn't have to cry like that." Hiei smirked.

"Just close your eyes each lovin’ day

"Kurama I love you more then anything in the world. I'm sorry I made you cry." Hiei smiled. "That's all right...As long as you love me Hiei." Tears dripped from Kurama's eyes. "Hieeeei!" Kurama held on to the pillow. He held it tightly.

Kurama's tears ran and ran down his face. His tears dripped on the pillow. The pillow was getting wet. It was being filled with Kurama's tears. "Hiei! ahahahhah!"

"Every word I say is true"

"This I promise you"

"Ooh, I promise you"

"I love you Kurama."

The tape freeze on Hiei's smile. "Oh Hiei!" Kurama cried. Has smiled still was on the tv. Kurama had smiled that smile so much. Kurama leaded on the pillow. He fell into a deep sleep.

There was a glow coming from Kurama's window. It shined on Kurama. The whole room glowed. Kurama felt something warm on his shoulder. "Kurama?" Kurama opened his eye's slowly. There was a hand on his shoulder. Kurama looked up. sitting next to him was Hiei. Hiei smiled. Kurama couldn't believe his eyes.

"Hiei!" Kurama went into Hiei's arms. Hiei wrapped his arms around Kurama. "I thought I could ever be held in your arms again!"
Kurama cryed. Tears rolled down his eyes. "I thought I could ever hold like this again Kurama." Hiei held Kurama tightly. Kurama's tears came down.

Hiei didn't want to let Kurama go, but he had to. "I just came to give you one more hug before I go." Hiei broke the hug and smiled.
Hiei got up and started to walk away. "No!" Kurama held Hiei's back. "I won't let you go Hiei! Once was enouch! But Not again! ahahhh!" Tears fell on the ground.

Hiei tried to walk away, But he just couldn't. "Kurama listen. I love you, but I..." "NO! I won't listen! I don't want you to go! Hiei i love you! haahhhahhh!" Kurama held on to Hiei tighter. Tears ran down Kurama's cheeks onto Hiei's shirt. Tears started to fall from Hiei's eyes. He just couldn't see his lover like this.

"Oy...I have to go Kurama." Hiei pulled away and started walking. "Hiei no! You can't leave me like this! No!" Kurama cried. Hiei turned around. Kurama was filled with tears. "I want to be together with you again Hiei....even if we die. I don't care! I just want to be with you. You lift me here alone before and let me suffer. I don't want that again. I want to suffer with you. As long as we're together." Kurama cried some more.

Hiei walked over to Kurama. "Are you sure?" Tears started rolling down from Hiei's eyes. "Yesehhhh!" Kurama sobbed. Hiei kissed Kurama.

He then held Kurama tightly. "Aishiteiru Hiei!...sniff...." Kurama sobbed as tears came down his face. "Aishiteiru Kurama" Hiei held Kurama in his arms.

Just hearing Hiei say that made him cry even more. "aahhahahhah!" Kurama cried and cried. Hiei held Kurama as the glow in the room started to vanish.

"Kurama we came to visit you!" Botan walked in the house. Yusuke and Keiko was there also. Botan looked at the tv. It was on but no picture. Botan turned it off. There was no tape either. "Weird." Botan walked over to Kurama. "Wake up Kurama" Botan touched his face. It was cold and pale. "Oh no!" Botan held Kurama's wrist.
Yusuke ran over "What!" "He's not breathing. Keiko call the ambulance!" Botan screamed. "Kurama please breathe!" Yusuke yelled."The ambulance is here!" Keiko yelled. Yusuke carryed Kurama to them.

At the hospital the doctor walked to them. Kuwabara and everyone else was there. The doctor spoke to them. "NO!" Yusuke yelled.
"He's not died!" Yusuke yelled. "We lost a friend before! Not another one! NO!...ahh!" Yusuke hit the wall and started crying. Botan cried. Shorshi heart beated fast. She then fell on the ground crying. She then pasted out. They all cried for hours.

"Well at least...Kurama will be happy with Hiei...." Tears ran down Yusuke's face.


"Aishiteiru" Kurama smiled as him and Hiei walked to the light. They held each other. They were smiling.

"I'll love you even in death Hiei....Aishiteiru forever....."
