Controlling the Fire

This is my first time writing a lemon (which will be in the second chapter), so please try to bear with me. ^^; I actually started writing a Karasu x Youko Kurama one, so for all of you sadists out there, feel free to check that out when I finally put it up here. ;P It'll probably be a bit more descriptive than this story, as I just quickly wrote this as the idea popped into my head. I've always enjoyed reading mind control stories, so I decided to finally write one involving one of my favorite yaoi pairings. XD If you see anything weird about the way I wrote the whole hypnosis part, then feel free to review and tell me how much it sucked. ^^; I've never actually tried it myself, so I'm basing all of it on what little knowledge I picked up from erotic stories I've read over the years.

Disclaimer: If I owned Yu Yu Hakusho, then there would be several episodes with hot yaoi action for all.

Kurama exasperatedly sighed, placing his pencil down on the wooden desk. He had been writing an essay about hypnosis for his Psychology class, but he seemed to be having trouble concentrating.

"Curse little fire demons and their distracting ways," Kurama damply thought to himself, trying to focus his mind on his last piece of homework for the night.

The research it took to write this article was intriguing. As a matter of fact, it was so intriguing that Kurama's dreams had been filled with a certain submissive demon under his control. The thought of having that mind in his own grasp positively thrilled Kurama. Of course, he would never do anything to actually hurt Hiei -- he just wanted to see if there was any chance of having a possible relationship with him. The fire demon would never admit his true feelings aloud, and Kurama didn't want to take the ultimate chance of ruining their friendship if he tried to pursue his desires.

He slowly turned back to his paper, trying to regain some control of his scattered thoughts. It was at that moment that the said demon decided to make his presence known by bringing his right foot up to rest on the cool windowsill. It was apparent he had been waiting there for a while, as he looked more comfortable than he usually did when he first arrived.

"Hiei," Kurama remarked, trying his best to sound as if he knew the youkad bed been there all along. "What brings you here?"

"Hn," Hiei nonchalantly replied, using his favorite trademark line. "I noticed you seemed to be distracted. Are those boring human subjects finally getting to you?" "No," Kurama weakly smiled, a bit excited that Hiei was actually taking an interest in what he was writing. "I just have to write an essay about hypnosis and mind control, and I haven't really been able to stay focused tonight."

"Mind control?" Hiei questioned, raising his eyebrow a bit. He didn't want to seem particularly interested in a human subject, but the fact that humans were studying this in a school seemed somehow strange.

Kurama nodded. "Yes, we're currently studying the different aspects of this in my Psychology class," he explained, trying to hold onto this rare occurrence of Hiei's curiosity for as long as he could. "It's actually been quite a fascinating section of the book."

"Hn," Hiei grunted, showing his disapproval of human intelligence. "What could ningens actually know about controlling someone?"

"Quite a bit," Kurama grinned, his usually playfulness kicking in. "Perhaps, you'd be interested in seeing if human instructions would actually work?"

"'Ch," Hiei muttered, not wanting to take part in a human activity, but feeling compelled to do so because Kurama had challenged him. "I highly doubt you could even put me into a slight slumber, let alone 'control' my mind."

"It's a deal then?" Kurama slightly stated more than asked. He knew he already had Hiei baited.

?Hn,? Hiei slightly moved his h sho showing the fox he agreed to the challenge.

?Excellent,? the kitsune almost purred, sitting up from the desk and rummaging around in his bag for the desired object. He finally pulled out a moderately sized watch. The chain and the watch were both pure gold, allowing a small light to bounce off of the item. The small numbers that told of the time were engraved into the white patch with silver that almost glowed as much as Youko Kurama's long hair.

"It's from the Makai," Kurama answered Hiei's silent question. "Why don't you have a seat over here?" He gestured towards the chair he had been trying to complete his essay in. Hiei reluctantly moved from his spot and sat down on the wooden chair.

"Now, just try to clear your mind," Kurama calmly requested, allowing his voice to carefully flow out and relax Hiei. "Just listen to my voice and keep your eyes on the watch. Don't take your eyes off of it, ok?"

"Just keep your eyes focused on the watch as it gbackback and forth," Kurama continued, seeing Hiei's small nod at his question. "Just relax and let all of your worries float away as you keep your eyes intently on the watch. Keep your eyes on it as it goes back and forth, back and forth. There's really nothing to worry about. My voice is calm, and you know I'm not going to hurt you. You can just relax. See that light bouncing off of it? Doesn't it look pretty? Allow yourself to fall further into relaxation as the light becomes brighter. Let yourself slip further into sleep as the watch moves back and forth. Just allow my voice to take over yourself. As you keep your eyes on the watch, you can slowly feel the need to think for yourself slipping. After all, I'm here. You trust me. As long as you trust me, you're perfectly fine with letting me think for you. It's so easy to let go and just keep focused on the watch moving back and forth in front of you. Just letting your mind slowly go and allowing me to think for you." Kurama almost jumped for joy as he noticed Hiei's muscles relaxing on the chair. Well, almost. He wasn't about to ruin the moment.

"Yes," the fox continued, feeling more confident in his soothing voice. "Just let yourself go. Relax. It's not so bad letting me think for you. Actually, it's much better. When you let me think for you, then you don't have to feel any pain. You feel absolutely delighted when you let me think for you. The more you relax, the more you can feel yourself letting me think for you. The more the watch moves back and forth, the more you can feel yourself relaxing. You want to relax. You want to give into this. You know you do. Now, as I count back from ten, you'll feel yourself entering a relaxation state. With each number going by, you'll feel yourself relaxing more and more. When I finally reach one, you'll fall into a deep sleep where there's no troubles, no pain, nothing. You'll be completely open to letting me think for you. There will be no question in your mind as to why you're doing everything I tell or ask of you, as it'll be completely natural. Now, let's begin. Ten... Nine... Eight... Seven... Six... Five... Four... Three... Two... You're almost there, now. One."

Kurama gleefully watched as Hiei's eyes slid shut. He knew he had cheated, as the watch was actually encased with a powerful spell that allowed the one watching it to become more susceptible to suggestions. However, at the moment, Kurama could care less about that. He now had Hiei's mind under *his* control, and he was quite delighted about that fact.

"Hiei," he quietly remarked, his heart beating in anticipation. "Can you hear me?" "Yes..." Hiei sleepily murmured.

"Who thinks for you?" he asked, wanting to make sure his suggestions had worked.

"You do," the demon easily replied, feeling as though this was completely normal.

"Good," Kurama stated, making sure Hiei had no doubt in his mind that the fox was supposed to be thinking for him. "Now, tell me. How do you feel about me?" "I trust you," Hiei calmly responded, having no problem with expressing himself now. "You're my best friend, and probably the only person I can really let my guard down around, besides Yukina."

"Have you ever had any... romantic feelings about me?" the fox dared to question, his heart practically beating out of his chest.

"Romantic?" Hiei repeated aloud, as though testing the word for the first time. "I don't know. I sometimes get these weird feelings around you, but I'm not sure what they are..."

Kurama silently cursed himself for jumping into this too quickly. Of course, Hiei had never had an intimate relationship with anyone. Obviously, he wouldn't be able to tell if his feelings were anything more, and even if he did, he probably shrugged them off as a sign of weakness.

"So," Kurama decided to continue, feeling that it was now or never. "Have you ever had any sexual thoughts about me?" "No," the demon replied quite slowly. "But..." "But?" the fox quietly asked, as he felt nervous anticipation making itself present in his stomach.

"I've been having these dreams lately..." Hiei trailed off, feeling slightly embarrassed.

"Dreams?" Kurama tried to encourage him, knowing Hiei must still be having problems expressing himself. "Don't be afraid to tell me, Hiei. I'm not going to judge you. There's no need to be nervous or embarrassed. Remember, I'm thinking for you." "Well," Hiei began, feeling much more relaxed now. "You're always... naked in them. You look so gorgeous, and I can feel my own desire for you rising. You walk up to me and slowly begin to kiss me. Then, you take off all of my clothes and do these *incredible* things with your mouth. It feels like no other kind of pleasure out there. Finally, you end up taking me until I feel something being released from me and you releasing something inside of me. I always end up waking up quite startled and sweaty." Kurama merely blinked, swallowing a huge lump in his throat.

"Oh," he breathlessly replied, finally conjugating thrfecrfect plan. "Hiei, those dreams are perfectly normal. Actually, you'll find yourself feeling quite empty and lonely when you don't have them. Once I clap my hands, you're going to wake up. However, when you wake up, you're slowly going to feel your body responding the way it does in the dream, except I'll be acting as I normally do. When you look at me, you'll slowly begin to feel this heat and desire burning inside of you. You won't know what to do about it. Even when you leave my room, you'll feel it slowly rising and building inside of you, until you have no choice but to allow your own body to take control. You'll feel no problem with coming to me, and you'll feel that desire until you decide to act on it. Whenever I say 'onegai gato,' you'll return to this sleeping state. When you wake up, you won't remember any of this conversation or anything that happened during it. You'll just think you allowed yourself to be distracted for a few moments, thus not remembering me hypnotizing you. Do you understand?"

"Yes," Hiei once again drowsily replied.

Kurama ped ped his hands once, returning to the position he had originally been standing in.

"Hn," Hiei casually snorted, shaking his head a bit. "I told you it wouldn't work." "I guess not," Kurama disappointingly said, allowing a fake sigh to slip from his lips. "I'll just return to my homework, then."

Hiei quickly moved from the chair to the windowsill, resuming his silent stare at Kurama. For some reason, he was feeling this small burning inside of his body. It wasn't really annoying; it was actually quite enjoyable. It seemed so familiar, but he couldn't figure out why for the life of him. Every small movement the fox made turned the heat up higher.

Hiei's eyes remained on Kurama's hand, watching it slowly move as he wrote each character on the piece of paper. He didn't understand this! Why was this happening? He let out a slight gasp, disappearing out the window and into the night. Kurama's cheeks turned into a tiny grin as he heard Hiei leave, knowing he would soon be back.

Sorry to leave all of you on a hanger like that, but I need to go to bed! ^.^ Did you like it? Did you hate it? Do you wish I'd strangle myself with the cord connecting my keyboard to my hard drive? Feel free to tell me in a review. XD
