Two In One
I own nothing but Harmony, Callie, Daniel, and Jeremy. And little Degol. Well, half own him. This is just the prolougue(SP?) and there will be more Warnings, Future NC, BDSM, Abuse, Yaoi, Yuri and some het. But not yet Please Read and Review. I work better if i think i am doing good.

Today was a special day for her. It was her birthday. August 6th. She had been so happy and excited. Her parents were taking her, her brother and sister, and Her sister’s best friend to swim at a local lake. Harmony Richards slept so soundly that night she didn’t notice her chihuahua Degol licking her face. “Harmony, dear. Time to get up.” Her mother said in a soft voice. Harmony rolled over and smiled at her mother.
“Okay, okay. I’m up. Just get him to stop.” Harmony’s mother patted Degol on the head and he followed her out of Harmony’s room. After they left Harmony stretched and put her slippers on. She got up and began looking for her purple hairbrush. When she found it she brushed her short black hair and tied her side-locks into braids. She reached over and turned her computer on. While waiting for it to boot up she pulled her pants on and went to the kitchen to get a bowl of Cap’n Crunch. She smiled at the background of her computer.
“Hey Har!” Her sister, Callie said running into the room and jumping on the bed. Harmony sighed at her sister.
“Must you always do that? You’re gonna break my bed. Granted it is broken all ready but you’re gonna break it more.” Her sister began to pout. “Oh don’t give me that Cal,” She said with a happy smile “Go, you got Jeremy to entertain!” Callie gave her sister a hug and left. Harmony gave a chuckle at the sound of her sister landing on Jeremy, who was sleeping on the sofa. “Baka.” She said to her self.

“That is so much fun! I love tubing!” Harmony said as she got off the tube. Her sister Callie smiled and went up to her.
“I told you that you would like it. Now move. It’s my turn.” She giggled as her sister sat on the tube and began to speed off. Every time Callie fell off, Harmony would burst out laughing with Jeremy, who was sitting next to her.
“IT’S TIME!” Their mother called very loudly so that even Daniel, Harmony’s brother, and their papa heard. They pulled Callie off the tube and rushed to the table where six presents and a birthday cake sat.
“Happy Birthday too you,
Happy Birthday too you,
Happy Birthday, Harmony,
Happy Birthday too you!” They sang loudly. Harmony laughed and blew the candles out. She opened the first of her presents. It was some more doll clothes for her toys. She hugged her parents and opened the next one. From her brother. It was a big book of every anime show ever made. She gave him a big hug and kiss and opened the next one from Jeremy. It was a new pair of boots. She gave him a big hug as well.
“Cal said you wanted some.” He said. Harmony smiled.
“Thank you.” She opened the next gift. It was a plain golden locket with a dragon carved on the front. A picture of her family on one side and the dog on the other. “Oh wow. That’s so pretty!” Thank you!” She said as she flung herself at her sister.
“Glad you like it. All though it opens too easily.” She laughed. Harmony let go of her so she could get back on the chairs.
“That’s okay. I love it.” She put it on quickly. She began to get up to go back to tubing when her papa stopped her.
“Forgot this one.” He handed her a bone with a tag on it saying ‘From: Degol’.

It was 7:00 when the party was over and they all got back into their blue mini van. Jeremy and Daniel, after much begging, got to sit in the back. Harmony decided to lay down, using her sister as a pillow. As a result of talking about the fun they had, Harmony forgot her seatbelt.
As they were coming on a green light a red and blue motorcycle came running at them from the side and slammed into their car. Harmony fell forward into the back seat foot space, as the car toppled over onto it’s front as another cmashmashed into it, trapping Harmony tightly.
“Help!” she wheezed but the van kept getting smashed by other cars and it just made it harder for her to breath. “Help!” She wheezed louder but began to have a coughing fit. The last thing she saw before she passed out was the fire close to her hair, melting her locket shut. She did not even stay conscious long enough to hear the sirens or laughter.
“Got her.”

“Is she in a coma?” The doctor asked. The nurse nodded and looked at the boy in the bed next to hers.
“He is too. They were both brought in at the same time. Both in a coma. And both in a car accident.” The doctor rubbed his chin and shook his head.
“Strange. They even look alike. Short black hair. Same age, height, and weight.” The doctor sighed.
“Doctor, his mother is here.” The nurse said and they both left the room.
Harmony was the first to wake up. “What happened? Where am I?” She got up and began to look around. She looked at the boy lying on the bed next to her then into a mirror. “Who is that?” She asked to no one. He began to stir. Their eyes met.
“Who are you?” He asked.
“I don’t know. You?” She asked sitting at the foot of his bed.
“My name is Yusuke. Urameshi Yusuke. . . Well if I was an American it would be pronounced Yusuke Urameshi.”
“You talk funny. Are you Japanese?” He nodded. “I think I like Japanese. But I don’t know.”
“You don’t know your name?” She shook her head. He notices the dragon on her locket. “How about Ryu? It means Dragon.” Ryu Smiled.
“Okay.” They both gave a small laugh as the Doctor walked in.
“Well! You’re both up!” He sat on the bed as well and looked first to Yusuke. “Now, do you know who you are?”
“Hai. Yusuke Urameshi.” The doctor nodded.
“And you?” Ryu shook her head.
“No, but he named me Ryu.” The doctor looked at her papers.
“Well, Ryu, we tried to find your file but apparently you have none. It is as though you were never born. The only thing linking you to your past, is that locket.” He said pointing to her neck. “And it has been fused shut.” When he stopped talking, a brunette woman burst in and gave Yusuke a big hug.
“Oh Yusuke! I thought you were a goner!” She cried. Yusuke patted her back.
“Daijoubu. Okasan, this is Ryu. That isn’t really her name but since she can’t remember it, I named her.” She older woman looked at Ryu and gave her a hug.
“Ohayou, Ryu-chan!” Ryu gave a nervous smile.
“Konnichiwa Urameshi-san. Hajime mashite.” She stopped. “When did I learn Japanese?” She shrugged. “Oh well. Nice to meet you.”
“Mrs. Urameshi, can I talk to you?” The Doctor asked and pulled her off to the side. Yusuke looked at Ryu.
“I am going to die. I know.” He said looking indifferent about it.
“How do you know?” She asked with a mixed look of confusion and worry. He smiled.
“I heard the doctor say I was bleeding internally and it was so small he couldn’t sew it up but the blood keeps flowing. That is what this tube is for.” He said holding up a tube with red liquid coming out of it.
“Ryu, promise me something.”
“Anything.”
“When, and if I die, take care of my mother and my half sister.”
“Who is your half sister?” Ryu asked cocking her head to the side.
“Keiko Yukimura. You see, my father slept with her mother after he found out my mother was pregnant with me. He said he got bored with her. Right now she is living with her mother and stepfather in their ramen shop. Okasan and I visit her very often.” Yusuke said smiling. Ryu smiled too.
“She sound really nice.” She said picking at the bed spread. Yusuke nodded when he suddenly gasped in pain. He fell onto his back and began gasp for air. The doctor heard the noise and turned in time to see Yusuke fall. The doctor rushed over and began to check him. He called in the nurse and they set him on the bed to head to operation, when Yusuke said, “Promise me!”
Ryu sat on her knees “I promise!” she said as he was rolled down the hall. Mrs. Urameshi looked at Ryu with tears in her eyes.
“What did you promise?” She asked sniffling.
“To take care of you and his half sister should he die. Even if you don’t want me to.” Mrs. Urameshi smiled through tears, at Ryu and hugged her.
“Even if he lives you’re gonna come with me. I’ll t yot you.” Ryu pulled away and smiled at Mrs. Urameshi. She caught a glimpse of a blue-haired girl wearing pink walking into the room before she, too, fell on the bed, and gasped for air before settling down, in a deep sleep. Mrs. Urameshi sat next to her as the doctor came in.
“Mrs. Urameshi, your son is dead. The blood got into his s. As. As he died, his corpse turned a shade of purple before he became a rigid as stone. What happened?”
“I don’t know. I was jtelltelling her she could come home with me and she passed out.” She said before falling to her knees and sobbing.

“You will take care of her, right, Mrs. Urameshi?” The lady asked as she signed Ryu’s adopt papers.
“Hai.”
“Um… I don’t want to be Ryu. I want to be Yusuke.” The lady looked at the paper and changed the name.
“Very well, Yusuke Urameshi.” She smiled and followed Atsuko out.
They soon headed for the airport and left for Japan.

Atsuko opened the bag of new clothing she bought for school and blinked at her uniform. It was a boy’s uniform. And it was green. “Yusuke! I think you got the wrong outfit!”
“Why can’t I wear this?” She asked while brushing her teeth.
“It’s a boy’s outfit!” Yusuke just gave her a pleading look. “Fine. When you go to school, make sure to tell Keiko about Yu-kun.” She said slightly frowning.
“I will, Ats.” Yusuke smiled and went to change. Atsuko chuckled at the new nickname. ‘It will just take a while. She did lose all her family.’
“I’m going now. Bye, Ats.” Yusuke went out the door, whistling, and holding her bag over her shoulder. She was only half way there when four guys walked over to her.
“Oi, Urameshi! Hold still! I’m gonna even the score!” Said the ugly orange haired one.
“But Kuwabara, that would take a while.” Said one of his friends. The one called Kuwabara grabbed Yusuke by the front of her uniform. He was about to punch her when she ducked and tripped him. After he fell she sat on him.
“I don’t know who you are, but if I see you again, kisama, I will hurt you.” He gasped.
“You’re a girl! I can’t fight girls.” He said trying to get away.
“Sissy!” She said walking away. Kuwabara grabbed her again. And started yelling.
“I am not a sissy! I just don’t hit girls.”
“Then you’re a damned fool!” she said punching him in the cheek and walked off while he yelled.

“Hi. I’m Urameshi Yusuke. I’m looking for Yukimura Keiko.” Yusuke said to the lady at the front desk.
“Class room seven. Currently at lunch.” Yusuke nodded and walked off. When she reached the door she knocked.
“What?” Asked the teacher.
“Gotta talk to Keiko.” She said. He scowled.
“Go away!
“It’s important!”
“Get!”
“Her brother is dead!” He scowled at Yusuke.
“Yukimura!”
“Yes, Mr. Iwamoto?” Yusuke entered the room and everybody stared at her. She walked to Keiko’s desk.
“Gomen nasai. Yusuke is dead.” She stared at her.
“Iya… he can’t be.” She whispered. Yusuke patted her shoulder and walked out.

Yusuke had stayed a few months and beat Kuwabara many times. They soon became enemies. Keiko soon managed to be happy Yusuke is in a better place. Yusuke and Keiko became as close as real sisters. However the ters ers didn’t like her much because of her disregard for rules. So she skipped school very often.
