Prologue

Deep in the heart of Makai a hanyou wearing a baboon cloak stood in the ruins of a long abandoned castle. At his feet lay the body of a wolf demon who once long ago had been an ally of Inuyasha, who was this hanyou's greatest enemy. The hanyou was Naraku, who had once been the human Onigumo. Kouga, the now fallen demon, had paid for the mistake of opposing Naraku with his life. During his last battle with Inuyasha, Naraku had learned that the half dog demon's greatest strength was also his greatest weakness. It had surprised him at first when he had realized it, for it was neither his powerful sword Tetsusaiga, nor the powerful demon blood he had inherited from his father. It was his ability to acquire equally powerful allies to help him win his battles. He had learned that in order to defeat Inuyasha he must cut him off from any ally powerful enough to help him by making sure that those possible allies were in no position to help Inuyasha.

Entering the ruins was another man. If he could be called a man that is. A man who had haunted the dreams of more people that Naraku could ever hope to. Frieza was a man who could not be trusted, but Naraku did not know this. He had no idea that he was being used…. Frieza had made sure of that. Naraku would die as soon as Frieza had what he wanted and what Frieza wanted was a certain pair of twins with dark purple hair and blue eyes and the Shikon no Tama. Then he would go back to his own dimension and kill that brat with purple hair who had almost killed him.
