Scene 9 ----------- Dagon’s Bedroom
* The Crow looks up from the book he’s reading when the door opens. The short apparition stays there, silhouetted against the ambient daylight that floods the outer hallway. He lowers his eyes again when Hiei finally moves toward him.
Hiei- What the h---.. were you thinking, bird?!
* He stops beside the bed to glower at his subordinate, all the while his eyes studying the expanse of his exposed burnt chest and upper arms.
Hiei- I ordered you to release me..! I could have roasted you to ashes.. and been justified in doing so!
* Hiei watches Dagon begin to tremble under his rising aura.
Hiei- Answer me, d--- it!
Dagon- I-I.. knew what you.. wanted to do.. I could f-feel your.. anguish.. I had to.. s-stop you or.. or I would’ve.. lost you.
* Dagon swallows when he feels the book he’s holding begin to get extremely warm. Just before it bursts into flames Hiei sighs and relaxes his energy. The jaganshi settles down to sit on the edge of the bed beside him.
Hiei- Dagon,..
Dagon- Please forgive me, Master.. I’ll bear these scars with pride, knowing that I saved your..
Hiei- Shut up, Crow.
* The Koorime takes the book from Dagon, sets it aside on the sidestand, then moves to straddle his lap. He leans on the headboard trapping Dagon’s head between his arms. Dagon raises his face as Hiei leans even closer and allows his Alpha to capture his mouth. The Crow responds with eager submission as Hiei deepens the kiss. He settles down more comfortably in Dagon’s lap and brings his hands down to begin exploring his injured chest. The feel of Hiei’s healing energy surging through him makes Dagon moan. Hiei feels the obvious arousal his energy sparks and doesn’t resist his instincts’ urging to capitalize on it. Dagon willingly squirms down to place himself completely beneath his smaller, but more powerful Alpha. The Koorime forces himself to pull back and watch, with flaring eyes, as Dagon’s muscled chest returns to its former glory.
Hiei- Crow,..
Dagon- I’m yours, Master.
* Hiei sighs, then nods and relaxes his energy when the task is completed.
Hiei- I’ll forgive you this time.. You made the right call.
* Dagon opens his eyes to meet Hiei’s intense red gaze.
Dagon- I knew that it was just your reaction to all the stress that’s been building up since before we even got to Alaric.
Hiei- Hn.
Dagon- You internalize everything way too much, if I may say so.
* Hiei gives Dagon a mock scowl.
Hiei- Give you an inch and you take a mile every time, bird!
* Dagon chuckles and raises a hand to run it up Hiei’s thigh under his cloak, a bit disappointed to find that he’s wearing his pants beneath it.
Dagon- I’ll take.. every inch you’ll give me,.. Master.
* Hiei swallows, considers accepting the cheesy invitation, then sighs deeply.
Hiei- As much as I’d love to give you what you deserve.. Koenma has made everything right concerning the baby.. I need to go face my Mare.
* Dagon slowly nods and lets his hand fall to the bed.
Dagon- Hai. She does need you.
* Hiei closes his eyes and shifts to sit beside Dagon again.
Hiei- I.. don’t know what I’ll say to her.. I’m not really too familiar with her yet to know how she’ll react to all of this.
Dagon- Perhaps you should do as Yu-Yu suggested.
* Hiei looks back down at the Crow.
Hiei- Yu-Yu?
* Dagon shrugs.
Dagon- It’s what I..
* Hiei suddenly growls and grips Dagon’s chin firmly, silencing his subordinate.
Hiei- You belong to me! I’m not going to share you with that halfbreed!
* Dagon freezes and remains this way until the apparition realizes what’s taken place. Slowly Hiei releases Dagon, lowers his eyes, and grunts.
Hiei- Unless you want to be released..
* Dagon raises a hand to make Hiei meet his eyes.
Dagon- I told you before, I enjoyed my time with.. Lord Urameshi.. But I belong to you now.. I’ve never regretted that decision.
* Hiei examines what he feels radiating through their bond as he stares down into the Crow’s dark eyes. After several moments he lowers his mouth to kiss Dagon once more, then leaves the bed.
Hiei- Rest.. Because I’ll return later to wear your a—out, bird.
* Dagon smirks.
Dagon- I’m already looking forward to it, Master.
* Hiei glances back at Dagon, then flits away closing the bedroom door in his wake.
