Hiei's Harem - Pt. 12 - Dominating

Hello, is everyone frozen out there? I've been dodging frequent power outages here, myself. Weather has been very bad. Well, here's a couple scenes to keep you busy.

Scene 9 ----------- The Main Barrier


* When Hiei arrives the Lynx brothers are already waiting there by the boulder.


Habataro- Did everything go well this time, Master?

Hiei- Hn. Another strong, healthy son.

Kumataro- Congratulations.

Coutaro- Yeah. Now let’s go take care of these three..

Hiei- I’m the only one going out there.


* He starts to walk calmly toward the barrier.


Habataro- Umm.. No.


* Hiei freezes then half turns to look up at the taller lanky male, his temple throbbing slightly.


Hiei- Excuse me?

Habataro- I refuse to let you go out there alone.


* Hiei turns to fully face Hab and crooks a finger as if wanting to divulge a secret to him. When Habataro leans closer to listen Hiei snatches one of his ears. The Lynx yowls and collapses to one knee.


Habataro- Master, ow ow owww..!

Hiei- I want to be sure you listen to me this time.. I’m going through the barrier to meet those b------s.. alone.. You three will remain here behind it watching.

Habataro- B-but..

Hiei- I don’t want them to know what’s behind the barrier.. Do you understand?

Habataro- Yesss, s-sir.. Pleeeasse..


* Hiei grunts and releases him. The Lynx falls back on his rear and rubs his throbbing ear.


Kumataro- We’ll be watching, Master.

Coutaro- If there’s any trouble we’ll be right there.

Hiei- Do you think I’m too weak to handle those three nothings?

Habataro- Going out there alone will make you look..


* Hiei smirks. Habataro gets the message and nods.


Habataro- Right.

Hiei- The less they know about who I really am the better.. But, as Cou said, if I’m blindsided..

Habataro- We’ll be through the barrier before they know what hit them.

Hiei- Hn.. But give me two minutes before you do so.


* Hiei glances back at Habataro who is still rubbing his tufted ear.


Hiei- Be thankful I didn’t burn you, cat.


* Hab quickly nods. Hiei turns and continues through the barrier. As he approaches them the three despits scramble to their feet. As soon as he comes to a stop a couple feet away from them he watches the Bat and the Rat demons back off some.


Asmaroth- You?!

Yushigu- You’re the new..?!


* Hitaru looks at his friends puzzled. Asmaroth and Yushigu look at each other.


Yushigu- It has to be some kind of a trick!

Asmaroth- Yeah! I bet it’s Matsua using one of his illusions!

Hiei- I’ll take that as an insult.


* As soon as Hiei speaks both of them look back down at him again.


Asmaroth- You’re.. you’re Hiei! You’re Lord Mukuro’s Second!

Yushigu- What the h--- are you doing here?!

Hiei- Perhaps I grew bored of that overbearing, bionic b----.


* The Rat and Bat look at each other again.


Hitaru- You two know this shrimp of a demon?


* Hiei scowls at the Coyote who’s not much taller than him. But inwardly he smirks because he understands the demon’s lack of recognition.


Asmaroth- Mind your tongue, ‘Yote!

Yushigu- Asmaroth, this guy really is our ticket to being rid of that slob Ooshama.

Asmaroth- Hai, hai.. He could roast Ooshama on a spit!


* The Bat demon cackles excitedly.


Yushigu- Yesss! And he’d never know what hit him! This is perfect!


* Hiei crosses his arms with annoyance as he watches the two demons continue to celebrate. Hitaru just drops onto his rear and looks up at Hiei curiously.


Hitaru- You don’t seem so strong to me.

Hiei- Perhaps I should use you as a demonstration.


* The celebration stops rather abruptly.


Hiei- But luckily for you, I’m curious as to why you’re here.. And who the h--- you.. or this Ooshama are.


* Asmaroth and Yushigu quickly hit their knees then bow low before Hiei.


Asmaroth- We’re your new servants, M’Lord.. I am Asmaroth.

Yushigu- And I’m Yushigu.

Hiei- Whatever. Now why are you here bothering me?

Hitaru- We want you to kill Ooshama.


* Hiei half glances toward Hitaru. Then he turns with a grunt to go back behind the barrier.


Asmaroth- Wait, sir!

Hiei- I’m not a d--- mercenary.

Yushigu- If you desire to rule this region you’ll listen.. I mean, help us.


* Hiei stops and half glances back at them over his shoulder, keeping his back to them to prove that he feels they’re no threat to him.


Hiei- Make no mistake. I will be the ultimate Alpha of this pathetic region.


* The Bat and Rat look at each other again grinning smugly. The jaganshi strikes so quickly that it’s the last expression Hitaru sees on their faces before they disintegrate to tiny pieces. The Coyote yells, leaps to his feet, and takes off. Hiei watches him from his crouched position.


Hiei- Five, four, three, two..


* In a couple blinks Hiei intercepts Hitaru and yanks his bandana off.


Hitaru- Y-you have a..!?

Hiei- Shut up and do as I say, you flea-bitten mongrel.


* The Koorime smirks again when the Coyote easily falls under his jagan’s control, evidenced by his large eyes clouding over.


Hiei- Go back to Ooshama and tell him that I’m only a very lucky, A-Class amateur. Tell him that I killed your two friends while they were trying to pledge their loyalty to me.. Then tell him that I wasn’t fast enough to catch you. Got all that?

Hitaru- Hai.

Hiei- Great.. Then run off and kill yourself in the most painful way you can think of, mutt. Do this world a favor.


* Hiei steps back and waves a hand dismissively.


Hiei- Go now.


* Hiei blinks away and puts the ward back on. Hitaru blinks and continues dashing away. Hiei watches the dust trail a moment then goes back behind the fog barrier. The three brothers are all still slack-jawed.


Hiei- They knew too much about me.


* He pauses to look up at Kumataro.


Hiei- I apologize for not giving the Rat to you.


* Kumataro swallows to find his voice.


Kumataro- Uhh.. I-I’m not.. complaining.


* With a parting grunt Hiei continues on his way back toward his pack. The Lynx brothers watch him go a moment then Habataro watches his younger brothers look at each other again.


Coutaro- He just took out those two A-Classes quicker than they could blink.


* Kumataro looks at Habataro again.


Kumataro- You did make the right decision, bro.

Habataro- There was never any doubt about that in my mind.


* The twins watch their older brother turn to return to his hut. With matching grunts they both leap to follow.
