Scene 9 -------------- A Couple Hours Later
* Hiei is still laying awake. When he hears stirring nearby he raises his head. Troiyoku is bent over his sister checking her. The Koorime quietly gets to his feet and retrieves his cloak. He then returns to hand it to the boy and watches him cover Trinka with it.
Hiei- I tried to leave her in one piece.
Troiyoku- She's resting comfortably.. I'd sense if she was in distress, Sir.
* Troi rolls to lay back down. Hiei studies him with a slight smirk.
Hiei- Did I wear you out?
Troiyoku- Are you.. kidding? (yawn) If I can endure.. your training.. that was nothing.
* Hiei sinks down to hover overtop of him.
Hiei- You tell me the truth, Troyo.. Were you seriously going to.. do that to her?
* Troiyoku glances toward Trinka then slowly shakes his head as he meets Hiei's eyes again.
Troiyoku- My sister is.. beautiful.. But she's yours.. The same as I am.. Her scent was.. intoxicating.. But my instincts wouldn't allow me to override your.. authority.. I vowed myself to you. Everything of mine is yours.. My mind, my heart, my life,.. my body..
Hiei- D---. Are you sure you're.. part fire?
* Troiyoku smirks.
Troiyoku- Do I have to.. prove it again?
* Hiei swallows. He feels himself already reacting as Troi drops his shield.
Troiyoku- You know that I can handle.. anything you can give me.
* Hiei allows his eyes to travel down the younger male's well-toning body. A testament to how much he practices what Hiei's been teaching him.
Hiei- Including being.. pregnant?
* Troiyoku starts to answer, but Hiei cuts him off.
Hiei- Cause if you're anything like the others, in a couple weeks or so.. This nice body of yours is going to look like Silis'.
* Troiyoku shrugs.
Troiyoku- This is the whole reason why I was kept here in the first place..
Hiei- But this will be your first.
Troiyoku- Hn.. Fa-.. umm.. He was waiting until I was old enough to carry.
Hiei- Are you?
Troiyoku- I.. I think so.. I'll be honored that you will give me my first.
* Hiei stares down into the boy's face a moment, then relaxes to sit down and look away thoughtfully a moment.
Hiei- I could get Minoro to cover you.. Unlike females, males only stay in until they're penetrated once.
Troiyoku- More of Mother's wisdom?
* Hiei hesitates, then shakes his head.
Hiei- No.. Personal experience.
* Troiyoku sits up and looks at Hiei.
Troiyoku- Have you ever carried?
* It is a couple moments before Hiei slowly shakes his head.
Hiei- No.. There are a lot of demons out there like Minoro.
* Troi takes a moment to digest this information. He then looks back at Hiei sadly.
Troiyoku- (Quietly) You don't.. want kids.
* Hiei looks at the boy quickly.
Hiei- It's not that.. I.. I never.. considered myself.. worthy enough to..
* Troiyoku scowls as he answers.
Troiyoku- You have a pack here now that believes you're worthy of anything you desire.. Look at how many children you have sired here already.. H---, Father couldn't even move for weeks after all their cycles were seen to.
* Hiei shrugs habitually.
Hiei- Gamock was a pathetic..
* Hiei catches himself and looks at Troiyoku.
Hiei- He was your father.
Troiyoku- Well, he was my sire.. That's really all I ever saw him as.. Did you know your Father?
* Hiei shakes his head again. The Koorime knows that the mood has been shattered and sighs as he raises a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose.
Troiyoku- Sir,..
Hiei- Shh.. You need to rest some more.. We're going to be stuck in this cave all night.. Probably half of tomorrow.
Troiyoku- I don't hold it against you.
Hiei- Sleep.
* Hiei closes his eyes and listens to Troi settle down onto his side. For the longest time he just watches his Alpha trying to understand the odd mixture of guilt and sadness Hiei's trying to bury. When he can take the conflict no longer he reaches out and pulls Hiei down beside him. The Koorime looks at him puzzled.
Troiyoku- You're going to need your rest, too.. I'll be your pillow, Master.
* Slowly Hiei relaxes and lets his head settle down onto the younger male's chest. He finally blanks his mind and concentrates on the heaving chest beneath him. It isn't long until the steady rise and fall evens to a slower pace and he knows that Troi is finally back to sleep. Hiei turns gently to face the opening of the chamber. There is still too much on his mind to allow sleep to take him just yet.
