Scene 8 ------------- The West Wall Cave
* Hiei wakes to the pleasurable sensation of having his ebony spikes stroked affectionately. When he can move he stretches languidly and rolls onto his back to look up at Minoro. He finds that he is cradled on the Hyena's lap.
Hiei- Hey.
Minoro- Did you sleep well, sir?
Hiei- Hn.. Did you?
Minoro- I dozed a bit.. here and..
* The word 'there' is yawned widely. Hiei smirks and raises up to catch Minoro with a deep kiss. He then stands and fastens his cloak shut.
Hiei- Stay here and get your rest.. I have to return to the others.
Minoro- As you wish.. Are you sure that you're.. relieved?
* Hiei nods and lays a hand on Minoro's head.
Hiei- Hn. You did very well.
* Minoro nods his appreciation at the comment.
Minoro- Anytime, M'Lord.
Hiei- Oh. Now you're eager.. Baka.
* Minoro chuckles when Hiei cuffs him gently then he watches his Alpha turn and leave. Minoro lays down to give in to his exhaustion. When Hiei steps out of the cave he becomes aware of the vague presence. He immediately opens his jagan behind the ward and locates Dagon easily. Hiei also recognizes him as he approaches the tree.
Hiei- What are you doing here? And how the h--- did you get in?
* Dagon remains on the branch, but switches back to his humanoid form. The Crow demon looks down at Hiei jovially as he relaxes back aginst the trunk, hugging one leg and kicking the other off the branch.
Dagon- Smells like I missed the party.
Hiei- You'll be missing your head if you don't answer me!
Dagon- Calm down. I come in peace, Master.
* Hiei motions to the ground.
Hiei- Then come down here and face me.
* Dagon shrugs, unfolds his wings, and coasts down to land gently on one knee in front of Hiei.
Dagon- The brothers told me that you've lifted my house arrest.
Hiei- Hn.
Dagon- Then I'm here to thank you.
Hiei- It's not required.. Now, how did you get here?
Dagon- I flew over those nasty Kitsune plants.. I must say, she seems to be quite.. powerful.. I'd love to meet..
hiei- you're starting to exceed my patience, Bird.
Dagon- I came to speak to you.. To thank you for sparing my life.
Hiei- Hn. You might come in useful someday.
* Hiei turns to leave.
Dagon- I want to repay you.
Hiei- What else would I expect?
Dagon- If you'll give me the permission I could start spreading the news about you throughout the region.
Hiei- For what purpose?
Dagon- I know how strong you are,.. Lord Hiei.
* The Koorime stops walking.
Dagon- Haven't you considered the thought of being the Ultimate Alpha?
* Hiei turns to look back at Dagon.
Dagon- In my travelling I've met nearly every pack, clan, and rogue around here.. I know many of them will fall in line when they hear of your classing.. Not to mention who you are.

* Hiei smirks when Dagon is suddenly silenced by a pair of swords crossed in front of his throat, held by Troiyoku and Gamaru. Minoro comes out of the cave to stand beside Hiei.
Hiei- You two are late.
Gamaru- We figured you could handle this weakling until we got here.
* Minoro rolls his eyes.
Minoro- I had to wake Troi up and Gam was..
Troiyoku- Ahh shut up!
Gamaru- Yeah. We're here now aren't we?!
* Hiei closes his eyes. Dagon relaxes back to sit on his rear and look around cautiously.
Dagon- Nice bunch of subs you got here.
Hiei- Stand down, all of you.
* Dagon chuckles.
Dagon- Train them yourself?
Hiei- I tried.
* Hiei glares at Troiyoku and Gamaru. They quickly move away from Dagon.
Hiei- Boys, this.. is Dagon.. He was just leaving.
* Dagon looks up at the brothers again.
Dagon- Mind if I take a.. souvenir?
Hiei- Touch any of them and I'll take your balls as souvenirs!
* Dagon stands quickly.
Dagon- I think I'll pass.. Seriously, I'm just a flirty bird. But I'm harmless.
Hiei- Hn. I'm not.. And neither are they.. My boys may be young, but I did train them myself.. Any one of them could clip your wings.
* Dagon looks back at Hiei.
Dagon- What do I have to do to prove my loyalty, Master?
Hiei- Just do what I told you. Leave.

* Troi and Gam sheath their swords and hurry away. Hiei looks up at Minoro.
Hiei- I told you to get some rest.
Minoro- I'm all over that.
* Minoro snorts toward Dagon, then heads back toward the cave. Hiei looks back up at Dagon.
Hiei- I'm going to escort you to the plant barrier to make sure you leave. Try to keep up.
* Hiei turns and takes off. Dagon lifts off and soars away after the flitting shadow.
