Jasmines, Roses, Demons Chapter 8

Flashback 200 years:

Rose looked at Jazmine and asked, “Sure this is a smart thing to do?” Jazmine looked at her and said, “Sure he’s not that strong.” Rose looked at her and said, “Fine when you get hurt don’t cry to me!” Rose and Jazmine watch as the fox demon went into the castle and waited for him to come back out. “All we have to do is wait for him to come out with the goods and then steal it from him.” Jazmine stated as they watched the front door. “No honor among thieves!” Rose stated as they watched the fox demon try to get out without getting hurt.
They follow close enough to keep him in sight but not to be noticed. As they followed him through the forest, he stopped to rest for the night and when they were sure that he was asleep they stole what he had stolen from the castle. It wasn’t much but it would be enough to get them something to eat. Rose and Jazmine weren’t the best thieves but they were strong and good enough to get what others had stolen. They were cousins both orphaned at the same time. But there was more to them than what others thought, they were born at the same time and even had twin birthmarks on their lower backs. They worked great together and even had a strong mental connection. The fox demon who found them, watched as they went through the stuff he stole and waited but they noticed him. “Come out whoever you are!” Jazmine stated and waited for the demon to show himself to them. The fox demon came out and stood there and then said, “I want my stuff back now!” as he charge at them. They started to run through the forest.
Rose yelled, “Told you shouldn’t have stolen his pants.” And Jazmine just grinned and said, “But they fit.” While tugging at the waist band. The fox demon tackled them to the ground knocking Rose out cold and Jazmine pinned under the fox demon and yelled, “What the hell do you thinking you are doing?” The fox demon looked at her and said coldly, “Getting my stuff back.” There was a sudden crack and the fox demon fell over and Jazmine looked over and saw Rose holding a big stick. Rose said, “No one fucks with you when you are holding a big ass stick.” Jazmine laughed lightly and looked at the fox demon and asked, “Can we keep him?” “He might be of some use but I’m not carrying him!” “That is fine he looks light enough.” Jazmine said as she flung him over her shoulder. They walked back to the cave they lived in with all the stuff that the fox demon had with him.

End of flashback

Couple of week before the tournament

Koenma showed up in his teen form and called everyone to the living room. When everyone was in the room and he started to talk. Koenma said, “For the tournament we need seven people for the team and I choose the seventh for you guys.” With that comment he called for the person to come in the room. Adrean went wide eyed and fainted. Karry yelled, “Adrean Rose!” Everyone watched as the person who had just walked in moved with incredible speed catching Adrean before she hit the floor. Adrean’s eyes fluttered open, “Synco” she whispered in disbelief. “Hey baby sis.” Synco said shocking everyone including Karry who slapped Adrean’s shoulder and yelled, “You have a brother?”
Koenma started to explain to everyone, “Synco as Adrean said correctly is only her half-brother on her father’s side. Couple centuries back Synco was working for us and we had to fake his death.” With that comment Adrean jumped up and walked to Koenma and slaps across the face hard and yelled, “You knew he was alive, you puff sucking ass fucker.” She added before storming to her room. Karry held her head in pain, “She is thinking so loud.” She stated as she put up a wall to protect her poor mind. Adrean came storming back in grabbing Synco dragging him to her room.
