The Time Signal...

Chapter Eight

Wild Raspberries!

Kook didn't say a word on the ride back to her house. She was content with the wind blowing through her hair and cooling her down. As they park and get out she reaches in the back seat of the jeep and pulls out her giant bag of liquor a smile perches on her lips. Cess and Jen are in Kook's kitchen getting out the blender and getting glasses ready for when they arrive with the drink mixes. Kurama and Willie sit in the living room relaxing with a joint and listening to music.

"LET THE PARTY BEGIN!" Kook shouts as she barrels through the door and flops the bag on the counter. Hiei strolls bye with his somber look and heads toward the living room to take a set in Kook's recliner.

"Bout time." Jen giggles as she pulls frozen strawberries from the freezer. "I am ready to get drunk."

"Me too." Kook spits and the other two look at each other then to Kook. "What"

"Every time you get drunk it means a long hard night for the rest of us." Cess teases.

"Well then prepare your self for a long hard night." Kook hisses as she starts the blender.

"So..." Willie tries his best to spark another conversation with the Fire Demon. "You and Kook serious or what." Hiei gives no reply just a dirty look at the medalling guy. "OK" he says as he turns his attentions to Kurama. "How about you and Cess."

"I really don't know." Kurama answers as he takes the joint from Willie "This is only are first date."

"So are you thinking there might bee?" e?" Willie asks with a smile as he hands the joint to Hiei who passes with a motion of his hand.

"Here." Kook stands over Hiei handing him a bottle of After Shocks with a shot glass draped over the top. "Bought this just for you." She smiles and turns. "I am going to change into something more comfortable. Be right back." Hiei nods a thank you only after her back is turned and downs four shots in a row.

"Easy Hiei, I am beginning to think you might have a problem." Kurama snickers as Hiei shots him a dirty look.

"Man you guy's sure your friend's." Willie moves in closer to Kurama so Hiei cannot hear. "He really doesn't seem to me... that he could keep many friends."

"Stupid." Hiei spits and downs a few more shots.

"Hey Willie nobodies waiting on you so if you want a drink you better go get it." Cess smiles as she takes a seat by Kurama on the couch and hands him a strawberry daiquiri. "This is my favorite, especially home made." She giggles as she throws her legs to daggle over on of his. Kurama smiles as he rest one hand on her flesh and takes the drink with his other.

"My Cess looking pretty cozy." Kook spits as she passes through the living room to retrieve her drink from the kitchen.

"Look what I found." Jen comes bobbing in the room with a drink in one hand and a board game in the other. "Lets play"

"Shuts and Ladders." Willie laughs as he reads the box on passing.

"No silly that is just the box it is in ..." Jen opens the box "Wee-gee board and it looks like an old one."

"Jen you are a nib shit." Kook spits as she takes a spot on the floor next to Jen and in between Hiei's legs. "It's not a wee-gee board Jen, however I will show you how to use it."

"That outfit might be more comfortable Kook but it sure is hard on the eyes." Willie teases as he watches her flop on the floor without spilling a drop. Kook gives him an evil eye and a hand gesture to shut up his laugh. Then reaching over she scoots the box closer so she can pull the wooden board from the box. Placing n thn the floor in front of her she looks over her shoulder to spot the remote, reaching up she grabs it and turns on some tunes.

"This board is a spirit summoner, it was my grandmothers, they say she was a witch." Kook looks at Cess with a smile. "Did you ever believe that?"

"Yes and still do." Cess smiles back as she gets up. "Any one need a refill." Four glasses shot her way as she gives an eye roll and sigh.

"I will help" Kurama says while standing and carefully maneuvering through the crowd on the floor.

"Thanks... and make mine a double." Kook yells after them.

"Here." Hiei hands her a full shot glass and she smiles after downing it and nodding a thank you.

"Don't worry I bought plenty." Kook giggles already feeling a little tipsy.

"OK let me try and remember this. There should be about four sticks and some colored crystals in the box also." Kook digs and giggles when she finds them. "Eureka."

"I think your already drunk Kook." Jen smiles.

"Nope, but give me time."

Cess and Kurama are in the kitchen wiping up another batch of drinks. Kurama comes up and wraps his arms around her waist. "You smell like peaches." He whispers as he lays little kisses on her neck.

"Funny because I was just thinking how you smell like raspberries." Cess turns in his arms to catch his lips with hers. Moving his hand slowly down her back, he cups one of her butt cheeks and pulls her closer to him. Remembering her task, she quickly pulls away and turns once again to the blender. "And you taste like strawberries." She giggles as she fills the glasses and heads back into the living room to the waiting alcoholics.

"Cess do you remember how to do this." Kook asks as she takes her drink.

"Not really but I will try." Cess takes a seat on the floor between Kurama's legs as she pulls the board toward her. "Where is the vile."

"Vile?"

"There was a vile that had a needle in it for a drop of blood."

"Well... now it is getting to deep for me." Willie stands and goes to sit in the chair beside Hiei.

"Whimp" Kook giggles. "Here it is." She pulls it from the box. "Whose blood you using."

"Yours." Cess says with a smile as she pocks Kook in the arm with the needle.

"Ouch."

"Whimp." Cess teases. "OK now who do you want to summon."

"Hell I don't know. No one I ever liked has died yet. But a lot I don't did." Kook smiles as she relaxes back against the recliner between Hiei's legs.

"Well since its Grams board why don't we try and summon her. You did like her didn't you." Cess asks as she picks up the crystals and shakes them in her hand.

"A little I guess."

"OK pick up the sticks and hold one end on the board the other in your hand when I tell you let them drop." Kook does as she is told. "OK now." Kook drops the sticks as Cess tosses the crystals. "Now as I add a drop of blood where all four sticks meet we hao cho chant... shit I can't remember the words."

"I have the chant written down right here." Kook hands her the paper. "Hell this isn't going to work we don't even know what we are doing." She giggles as she points to Hiei's shot glass for another. He quickly fills it and hands it to her.

"With all the power that I hold in my soul and in my bones." Cess drops a little blood on the board. "I call you out of your peaceful slumber" She drops another drop in the same spot. "With this blood I bind you now to the one that calls." Cess closes her eyes and raises her hands above her head. "Walk again, talk again, come forth from the icy grave come forth and let us play." Suddenly it starts pouring the rain outside and a thunderous boom shakes the house as the lights flicker on and off until they stay off.

Hiei and Kurama tense up at the sight before them the whole room is lit by the white light surrounding Cess she still sits with her eyes closed and her hands in the air. "Well?" she asks.

"Well I can't see a damn thing. Should I get candles."

"Man?" Cess drops her arms and light begins to fade. "I thought I had it right when it started to rain."

"Nope dear Sis that was just mother nature." Kook says as she searches blindly for some candles. Then as suddenly as they went out they came back on and all but Kurama and Hiei rub their eyes adjusting them to the light.

Kurama and Hiei look at each other with questioning looks. "Did you see?" Kurama asks in a low tone. Hiei nods a 'yes'. "But they did not" Hiei nods again. "I wonder." Hiei nods again for he also is wondering.

"Well you poked me for nothing then. That wasn't even fun." Kook yells from the kitchen as the blender starts up for round three. "OH SHIT!" Kook comes running in the living room. "Your Jeep Hiei, it is getting all wet."

"It will be fine." Hiei says unmoving from his spot. Kook shrugs and goes back to her duty.

"Won't your ride home be wet." Willie asks because he is a nib shit.

"Who said I was going home." Hiei answers before downing a shot. Cess giggles at his answer as she rises from the floor grabbing Kurama's glass for a refill and heads into the kitchen.

"Well now what are we going to do for entertainment." Jen sighs.

"If you're bored go home." Hiei gives an answer.

"My... My... aren't you the nice one." Jen giggles as she places a hand on his knee to help herself off the floor, bending down she whispers in his ear. "Do you want to join me in the bathroom."

Hiei smiles up at her and quickly moves his leg so she stumbles to the side. "I am fine... Thanks." Jen gives a dirty look and stumbles down the hall. "She's drunk."

"Yelp." Willie smiles. "Maybe I'll go see if she needs some help." He jumps up and rubs his hands together before taking the path Jen took.
re yre you go." Cess smiles as she takes her place beside Kurama once more daggling her legs over his. Kurama places his hand on her knee and takes his drink with a smile. Cess reaches up and pulls the lap blanket off the back of the couch to cover her lower body. "Bit chilly" she gives Kurama a sexy smirk.

"Well I guess." Kook announces as she stumbles over and falls to the ground without spilling a drop mind you, "it's movie time." She just crawls over to where the movies are giggling all the way. "You know I think I am drunk." Hiei rolls his eyes with a sigh. "I saw that short dark and gruesome." Kook laughs at her own wit.

"She didn't mean that she just thinks she's funny when she is drunk and really she is very vexing." Cess says with a smile and waves off Kook.

"She is vexing when she is sober." Hiei corrects.

"Shhh not nice to talk about the host." Kook giggles as she reaches for a movie. "Snatch" she then goes to the DVD player and pops it in. "I love this movie... any one need a refill."

"No and neither do you." Hiei stands and scoots her over to him so she sits between his legs again. "Sit still and watch the damn movie. You are irritating me." Kook gives another giggle then a relaxing sigh as she rests her head on his knee.

"I'm sorry." She says in a whisper thinking he wouldn't hear. "I'm just a little depressed right now."

"Well drinking that much won't help." Hiei spits, Kook tenses she cannot believe he heard her.

"Hey where are Jen and Willie."

"They headedthe the bathroom."

"WHAT?" Kook snaps and jumps up as if she had never been drinking. Storming off she bangs on the bathroom door. "OPEN UP!" she spits with every bang. After putting Jen to bed in the spare room and kicking Willie out to walk, home in the rain. Kook gets another drink and settles down in the chair beside Hiei to watch the movie.

As the movie starts, Kurama's hand moves up Cess's thigh slowly rubbing it with a tender touch. Looking over he sees her eyes shut and her head relaxed enjoying his touch. Slowly he moves up rubbing over her panties and she opens her eyes to see him smiling sexy and sweet at her. His green eyes sparkling with the light from the TV. She gives off a low moan then quickly looks toward Hiei and Kook to make sure they didn't hear. However, Kurama did and that was his cue to continue. "Any one need anything." Kook asks as she looks around. Cess sits up a little more she had slid down into his touch and further on his lap then she thought.

"No I am fine thank you." Cess says tiring hard not to make it breathless sounding. Kurama just shakes his head with a smirk plastered on his lips.

"Where you going." Kurama whispers as he pulls her back down in her previous position.

"You need to stop that before..." Cess smiles and tries to back up again.

"Before this." Kurama smiles as he pulls her calf to feel his harden length in his pants.

Cess then looks at the TV. 'Shit it isn't even half over.' She racks her brain on a way to get her and Kurama out of there and down in her apartment. However all train of thought is lost when he pulls her back down and inserts his fingers into her wet passage once again, this time adding a little tickle to her clit. Kurama stops again as his ears pick up Kook's footsteps entering back into the room. After she settles down with drinks in hand, he begins his tender assault on her once more.

Kook laughs and downs her drinks as she watches the movie. Hiei sits still unmoving not a giggle will he let out. Then suddenly the lights flicker again and they go out, they all sit in the darkness none saying a word. "SHIT!" Cess says as she hurries to follow. Digging around Kurama to find her panties.

"What are you looking for." Kurama asks in a joking tone.

"You know very well what it is." Cess says semi irritated not at Kurama but her drunken sister now stumbling down the stairs. "Hurry she can't be left alone she goes crazy when she is drunk."

"Crazy how?" Kurama asks with a crnedrned tone this time.

"Just please let me go after her." Cess says with a pleading tone.

"I will follow her." Hiei states as he stands and heads out the door. "You have something to finish." He says in a jeering tone as he shuts the door behind him.

"But..." Cess starts to stir to stand in protest. "I can't just leave her alone."

"He will take care of her, you have my word on that." Kurama says calmly pulling her up onto his lap. "He may act tuff but he truly is a softy." Kurama pulls her into a soft kiss Cess throws her arms around his neck so he deepens the kiss parting his lips to let her explore his mouth and taste the strawberries she so loves.

Hiei laughs as he catches quickly up to Kook. "What?" she asks as she slows her pace a little.

"You look atrocious."

"Ahh Hiei do you flatter all the girls the way you flatter me." Kook smiles at him.

"So you can take a compliment." Hiei looks over at her; she is socked from the rain her long hair sticks to her face and her large clothing hangs clinging to her with every step. "Why are we walking in the rain."

"I like the rain it is pure and it never lies to me."

"Does it talk to you?" Hiei almost giggles at how insane she sounds.

"Only when I ask it questions. Why did you follow me."

"So your sister didn't have to chase you down in the rain. That flower might wilt out here."

"So she is a flower... and then what would you call me."

"A fresh Spring down pour."

Kook laughs as she locks her arm in his. "Well believe it or not Hiei I really like that compliment."

"Thought you might." Hiei says as he lets Kook lead them on their walk.

Cess brakes from the kiss and backs Kurama's hand out of her dress. "Lets go to my place." She stands and grabs his hand and leads him down the stairs and through the rain to her apartment. "In the rain you smell like wild raspberries" Cess compliments. After opening the door, she runs to scrap up a few candles and lights them placing them on the coffee table. Kurama stands at the door and watches her graceful flow through the apartment with his emerald eyes. Walking back over to him, she slams him up against the door and catches his strawberry flavored lips in another passionate kiss. Pinning his arms to the door at his sides. "I owe you a little tease." She whispers in his ear as she slowly kisses down his neck taking one of her hands she stato uto unbutton his shirt slowly kissing the spot of flesh that peaks out under each undone button. Kurama lets out a light moan as her hand rubs against his growing length over his pants. Finally reaching his pants, she undoes the button and pulls the zipper down slowly. Moving her kisses around or his well-toned abs. releasing her other hand she drops to her knees and pulls down his pants. Kurama relaxes more against the door as she comes back up to follow his pants with his underwear. "I smell raspberries does every inch of you smell like raspberries. I wonder if you taste as good as you smell" Cess giggles as she grabs his length in her hand kissing and licking at the end of it before taking into her mouth. "How about a shower." Cess asks after releasing his lips.

"I would love one."

"Good I'll wash your back if you wash mine." Cess smiles and heads towards the bathroom.

"Works well for both of us then." Kurama smirks as he follows her lead.

Hiei and Kook are enjoying their quit stroll in the rain, neither saying a word enjoying the spring shower as they stroll further and further from the apartment.

A flashy sports car flashes by them fast splashing them with a muddy puddle as it does so. "ASSHOLES" Kook just could not contain the yell. Suddenly the car screeches to a stop and it's reverse lights come on. "Shit!" she mutters with a giggle.

"Just couldn't keep your mouth shut could you." Hiei spits as his body tenses watching the car back up.
