Scene 7
Scene 7 ------------- Hiei’s Fortress
* Everyone gathered in the livingroom of Chevaux’s suite looks up when a portal forms. Having just reached the room not long before, Habataro stands up when several growls are heard.
Habataro- Everyone stay calm.. These are Master Hiei’s friends.
* To confirm Habataro’s words Sylk and Dagon, carrying Hiei, exit first. They’re followed by Koenma, Yusuke, Kurama, and Botan.
Dagon- It’s okay, Everyone. You all know Lord Koenma.. These two are Lords Urameshi and Youko Kurama.
* Hearing these names, Loreen and Tachimaru push their young infants behind them. Yusuke and Kurama exchange glances. They stay put when the pack all finally notices Hiei and Dagon’s conditions.
Tachimaru- Master!
* Yusuke and Kurama are forgotten as the Tigress hurries forward to take Hiei from Dagon.
Dagon- He’s.. exhausted.. He kinda lost it when he heard..
Sylk- I gave him a puff of Sleeping Lily pollen to put him out before he could do something stupid.
* Lily hurries forward to check Hiei closer when Tachi sits down on the couch. The Tigress purrs and her three cubs hurry over to stay close to her.
Koenma- Where’s the baby that was lost? I’m here to fix the mix-up.. I have a staff of ogres that can be very inefficient sometimes.
* Celestia looks up at him.
Celestia- Sarista wrapped him up and placed him on the kitchen table.
Lily- She and the others are still trying to console Chevaux.. the Mare is very distraught.
* Kurama’s ears twitch as he examines the black Kitsune until Yusuke elbows him. Kurama looks away clearing his throat.
Loreen- I would say she has the right to be upset! Birthing a stillborn then having the other baby she was carrying just.. disappear.
* The Leopardess turns her gaze toward Koenma.
Koenma- I’ll.. see to the baby first.. Then I’ll explain this mess better, cause that’ll probably take a lot longer.
* Koenma motions Botan, carrying a small vase, to follow him into the kitchen. Lily and the others look toward Dagon when he finally collapses to one knee. The Kitsunes both hurry to him recognizing the problem.
Lily- Crow,..
Kurama- He refused to release your.. Master.. He’s been burned badly.
Lily- I can see that.. Do you know how to grow.. umm..?
* She blushes and looks back up at Kurama.
Lily- Well, of course you would.
Kurama- Hai. I always keep plenty of Aloe seeds on hand.
Dagon- I’ll.. be okay.
Lily- Be quiet. These wounds were made by your Alpha, Dagon. He’ll be the only one able to relieve your pain completely, but we can give you a little relief.
Dagon- Yeah.. I know.. but I wasn’t going to let him..
Kurama- Come on. I find your loyalty quite admirable, but you need to rest now.
Sylk- Go on, Bird. The little guy won’t be awake for a while.
* Several of the other females glance up at Sylk. Before they can comment they hear the baby’s cry come from the kitchen. Koenma and Botan come out. Botan coos to the tiny, squirming bundle in her arms. Sylk waits, then rolls her eyes when none of the others move. She goes over to take the baby.
Sylk- I’ll take him in and give him to Chevie.. I’ll explain to the ones in there. You guys have this room.
* Sylk moves toward the bedroom with the baby.
Yusuke- I still say I like her.
* Sylk pauses to glance a growl back at him. Kurama stands to help Dagon to his feet. Koenma gives Yusuke a knock to the back of his head.
Koenma- Be quiet so they’ll let you live long enough for me to explain, Yusuke.
Celestia- Please do.
Loreen- Weren’t you the one I tried to eat when I was pregnant?
Tachimaru- Loreen, please. If their story’s not good, then we can eat them.
* Kurama glances toward the Tigress then continues helping Lily take Dagon out of the room. Koenma removes his pacifier and clutches it in a fist as he begins the long explanation.
