Hiei's Harem - Pt. 4 - Recovering

Scene 7 -------------- One Week Later


* Things in the ravine have been going pretty much as routinely as possible, if you don't count the two or three minor skirmishes with some local rogues that managed to breech Lily's barrier. Hiei lands in the clearing after doing a routine patrol around the canyon. As he makes his way through his pack he notices that a couple of them are missing. He stops beside Lily and leans to nuzzle one of her foxy ears. The Kitsune's nose twitches and she smiles up at him from her vine hammock.


Lily- you know I made it big enough for two, Babe.

Hiei- Hn.. Where's Trinka and Troyo?


* Hiei watches Lily look away. The wily vixen has become very skilled at shielding her thoughts from him. After a couple moments, she shrugs.


Lily- Hmm.. I believe they both mentioned something about taking off to the West wall cave.


* Hiei tilts his head. Knowing that it's no use pressing the stubborn vixen for anything else he thinks as he moves away. He goes over to where Sarista is sitting. He knows by her manner that she is concentrating on her baby. But when he approaches she looks up at him.


Hiei- Are your daughter and son in heat?


* Sarista hesitantly answers.


Sarista- Don't you know?

Hiei- Don't play games with me, Woman.


* Sarista sighs deeply.


Sarista- Troi's been in for a couple days now.. Trinka just started feeling her heat this morning.

Hiei- Then why would they be off in the West Cave together?


* Sarista lowers her eyes.


Hiei- 'Rista,..

Sarista- Trinka told me that you plan to pawn her off to Silis.


* Hiei and Silis exchange glances. The younger male nervously lowers his eyes back to sharpening his cheap sword.


Hiei- Hn.. You also know why I made that..

Sarista- Well, she thinks it's because you don't desire her.

Hiei- That's not it at all! Can't you talk sense to any of these kids of yours?!


* Sarista raises her flaring eyes to meet Hiei's. The Koorime sidles back a couple steps. He should've known better than to anger her right now.


Sarista- I tried to explain it to her! But you should know by now how screwed up our d--- emotions are.. Especially during our cycles..


* Hiei sighs and raises a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose.


Hiei- Hn..


* He looks back at her.


Hiei- But why the h--- is she there with Troi?


* Sarista hmphs and closes her eyes again.


Sarista- You figure it out.


* Hiei glares down at her.


Hiei- You didn't stop them?! You have such a problem with me.. taking her..

Sarista- Oh you best back off on that one, Mister.. You know it's you that has the problem with that.. Wanting to pawn her off to Silis..

Hiei- And just what the h--- is wrong with him? Isn't he good enough for her?


* Hiei watches Silis stand and wander away from their clashing auras nervously.


Sarista- Silis isn't you.. Are you honestly this thick-headed?


* Hiei glares down at her a couple more moments, then he decides that he'd best go after the siblings. Besides, he really has to let Sarista calm down. When he is gone Sarista and the other females snicker. Silis peers out of the cave nervously.


Sarista- Relax, Sil.. It worked.


* When Gamaru appears at the mouth of the cave he grasps Silis' arm and takes him back inside. Sarista's mirth fades, then she sighs, and returns to her meditating.
