The Yukimura's
A whole day. It actually took a whole day to choose and arrange your courses, measure your size for a new uniform that would be arriving sometime in the next week and what really pissed you off, was that Mr. Morikuza was probably in love with you. It should never take the whole day but your new principle wanted to take his God Damned time and his excuse was because of my test results. He just wanted to get know his new intelligent-and-would-bring-honor-to-his-school student. Bullshit! The man wouldn’t stop staring at your rack and you, sadly, didn’t have much of a rack to show off.
“Wait, let me rephrase that,” you thought as a several female students walked by with much smaller breasts then yourself. “I’m considered to sadly have nothing to show off at my old home.”
“You see? It wasn’t so bad,” Akira said slinging an arm around your shoulders.
You just looked at her with a skeptical and tired look. Akira laughed nervously and removed her arm from your shoulder and looked at her watch to check the time. You were at the moment walking through the halls of the school or attempting to since school was out and all the students were eagerly trying to vacate the area to go home or somewhere other than then school itself.
“Well at least the students seem nice at this school,” she said trying to win brownie points. “Like that young boy at the office,” she said as an example.
You looked at her this time in amusement. “You mean the brunette who was undressing me with his eyes?” you asked giving her a sultry look. She chuckled nervously again and then just sighed in defeat. “Me: 2, Akira: Zip,” you thought delighted. You looked around at all the students and then the school itself. It was a really nice school you’ll give it that much, but mind you, Meiou High was very high ranking so more money was spent on it than the other schools you were sure. Lockers were clean and not half ripped off. Floors were nicely waxed and only slightly dirty from dirty shoes and there were a lot of windows so it gave it that airy and open feeling, which was a really nice change. Another bonus point was that there were a lot of really hot guys here, especially that red head over there that looked remarkably like Shuichi. “Wait what!” You did a double take but he was gone. “Must…have been my imagination,” you thought sadly.
“What was that?” Akira asked and you looked at her trying to regain your momentary outburst.
“Oh nothing,” you assured. “I just got a glimpse of the time and realized how starving I was,” you explained. Just then your stomach growled for a nice effect and you realized that you WERE actually quite hungry.
“That’s right! We haven’t eaten since this morning and it is almost dinner time. Do you think you can wait until we get home?” she asked, but all she received was a glare and crossed arms. She gave in with a sigh. “Alright then. I actually know a fabulous little restaurant not far from here that serves all kinds of dishes and takes special requests,” she said thinking to herself with a finger to her chin. “They also serve shrimp n-o-o-D-L-E-S!!”
“Then what the hell are we waiting for woman!” you shouted with excitement, pulling her while you ran for the exit that‘s in site.

“So what do you think?” she asked as you two sat in your car outside of a chain of restaurants all along the street. It was in a nice neibourhood and was really clean and kept well. The restaurant definitely had a nice homey touch and you could definitely see yourself coming here quite often. The building was a two story and looked surprising big, being that it was squished in between other buildings. Welcome to Yukimura’s Cook House it said on the sign.
“The Yukimura’s have been friends of the family for a while and I actually went to school with them,” she said with a fondness in her voice. “They’re practically family to me.”
You just smiled and got out of the car in which Akira followed close behind. Outside the car all the aromas assaulted you at once and your stomach growled in protest and excitement. You blushed in embarrassment since Akira started laughing hearing it from even the distance she was at.
“Come on, we got to put some food in you before you start eating everything in sight!” she said in mirth. Smiling you quickened your pace to stand next to her outside of the shop. “Now I have to warn you,” she cautioned halting your process to enter the restaurant. “I haven’t called them in two weeks so there’ll be a lot of hugging and scolding.” She then slid open the door and pushed you inside. “Honey’s I’m home!”
“Akira Maria Yukihana!” came a shout and a woman around her mid thirties behind the cooking counter placed her hands on her hips in a huff and had a mean scowl on her face. Gees, she was smaller than you and you still felt intimidated.
“Sorry Mom,” Akira laughed sarcastically behind you. “I was out of the country for a while,” she explained. The woman marched around the counter and right past you and in front of your biological mother.
“That is no excuse!” she scolded with her hands still on her hips. “The least you could have done is call!” You burst out laughing at the image those two created. It was exactly as if a mother was scolding her child and Akira looked exactly as if she was caught with her hand in the cookie jar. When the woman turned on you though, your laughing immediately ceased. “And pray tell who are you?” she asked with a gentle smile on her face and a motherly voice.
“Whoa, mood swing much,” you thought in wonder. That was when Akira came to your side and wrapped her arm around your shoulder once again.
“Hoshi, this is my daughter, Rose,” she said with pride in her voice and you couldn’t help but smile sheepishly. Well that’s all it took. Hoshi dragged your mother aside and started firing questions without pause. Your mother was waving her hands trying to slow and calm her down. Your eye twitched in dumb amazement at the woman and you then felt a tug on your sleeve. You looked behind you to see a girl your age and that remarkably looked like her mother. She had long brown hair and big soft brown eyes.
“Follow me while their distracted,” she said and pulled you toward stairs across from the entrance of the restaurant. Upon reaching the top, you came to a nice small living room and the girl then jumped on the couch facing you. “Have a seat,” she said pointing to the love seat across from her. You sat down with a grateful smile and sighed in relief.
“Boys those two sure can talk a storm,” you said and the girl just chuckled in agreement.
“So…uh…are you really Aunt Akira’s daughter?” she asked hesitant, as if the subject were delicate china. Note: You shouldn’t be around fine china. EVER!!!!
“Biologically speaking,” you answered, not the least bit put off by the subject. “Short story short…” she chuckled, “…Dad and Akira were in love. They couldn’t be together. One passionate night they conceived me. Akira left. Dad married best friend. And the rest as they say is history,” you explained.
“Wow,” was the only thing she said after a short silent pause. You chuckled and nodded your head in agreement. “No offense but that’s better than some sit com on TV,” she said sheepishly. The both of you burst out laughing at that.
“My name’s Keiko,” she introduced herself.
“I’m Rose…well Roselyn but everyone just calls me Rose,” you introduced yourself also.
“Rose? As in the flower?” she asked getting up from her perch on the couch. You got up also and nodded your head. She then giggled and said more to herself then you, “He would definitely like you.”
Confused, you followed her back downstairs and it was then that you noticed that all was quiet. When you reached the last step you saw that the two mothers were quietly sipping tea at a table near by and a man you didn’t see before was behind the cooking counter making something that made your mouth water. Keiko giggled at your wistful look towards the food and dragged you where Akira and her mother were talking quietly now.
“Hey Aunt Akira,” Keiko said, greeting Akira with a hug.
“Hello honey, how’ve you been?” she asked Keiko as Keiko sat down next to her mother.
“I’ve been great actually,” she said with a smile.
“That’s good,” Akira said and sipped from her tea. Hoshi saw you just standing there and cocked her head to the side.
“Dear, you can sit down if you like. We don’t bite very hard,” she said. You just smiled in gratitude and sat down next to Akira across from Keiko. “Sorry about that dear, it’s just that the last time Akira left on weeks on end she came back with a tattoo on her bottom left cheek.”
“Hoshi!!!!” Hoshi, Keiko, and yourself broke out in laughter.
“Really?” you asked not believing it. “Of what?”
“None of your business,” Akira shouted in embarrassment and then began to gulp down her tea to hide her blooming blush. It was Keiko who placed a hand next to her mouth and whispered ‘a sun’ to you. You cracked up laughing again.
“Akira, I know some people thought the sun shone out of your ass but come on!” you continued laughing in earnest. A sharp pain came to the top of your head and you just chuckled rubbing the spot that Akira hit.
“Your meals will be ready in a few Akira,” the man at the counter announced with a smile. You got up and sat in front of the cooking counter.
“Hi, I’m Rose,” you introduced watching him finish up with your supper.
“I’m Takihara Yukimura. So your Robert’s girl huh?” he asked but already knew the answer.
“You knew my Dad?” you asked surprised. Takihara just smiled and nodded his head.
“We were in cooking class together when I lived in Canada for a few months,” he explained while pouring noodles with shrimp in a bowl. You looked at him in surprised amazement.
“Cooking class! But he’s lethal in the kitchen!” you exclaimed and in which Takihara looked at you with a deadpanned expression.
“I know. I was his partner,” you broke out laughing once again.
“Wait, let me rephrase that,” you thought as a several female students walked by with much smaller breasts then yourself. “I’m considered to sadly have nothing to show off at my old home.”
