Chapter Seven

Karasu followed Hiei and Kurama into town. He made sure to keep his distance so that Hiei wouldn’t notice him, but he forgot about Kurama.
Kurama disappeared from beside Hiei and reappeared in front of Karasu. “Why have you been following us? “ Karasu stared at Kurama’s new body. “I wanted to see how you did on your first kill.” He stepped closer to Kurama and touched Kurama’s face. “And also to get my cloak back.” Kurama frowned and slowly started to unbutton the cloak, but Karasu stopped him. “No, let me.” Kurama lowered his arms to his sides while Karasu unbuttoned each button. Hiei ran to where the two were standing and grabbed Karasu’s arm. “Leave him alone Karasu.” Karasu glared at Hiei. “I shall, after I get my cloak back.” Hiei growled. “No, Kurama will return it to you after he gets some new clothes to wear.” Karasu smiled. “Hiei, Hiei. You do realize that a hybrid such as Kurama will never last, here in the vampire’s world. He wouldn’t have better luck in the fairy’s world either. You should have just killed him when you had the chance. Although, I wouldn’t mind having a hybrid as a slave.” Hiei pulled Kurama away from Karasu. “Don’t even think about it. Come on Kurama, let’s go. Karasu, you’ll get your cloak back later.” Kurama and Hiei walked away while Karasu left and went to the bar. Hiei had picked out an outfit for Kurama and let him try it on while he waited outside of the dressing room. After a few minutes, Kurama came out of the dressing room wearing a black fishnet shirt, close-fitting leather pants, black boots, and a black choker. Kurama slowly turned around in a small circle to show Hiei how the clothes fit. Hiei stood up and walked to Kurama. Kurama smiled, “So, what do you think?” “I think that we need to find a room.” Hiei ran a hand over Kurama’s hip. Kurama gently hit Hiei. “Not yet baby. First, I must feed. So, where do you usually go for food?” Hiei looked away and took a few steps back, away from Kurama. “Hiei? What’s wrong?” Kurama questioned. Hiei turned his eyes back to Kurama. “I’ll show you.” The two left the store after paying for the new clothes. They walked through the busy streets, occasionally seeing a vampiredingding on a fairy. Kurama would look the other way as he followed Hiei to a small building. Hiei turned to Kurama. “This is where I come to feed. If you can’t handle what you’re about to see, we can leave and go somewhere else.” Kurama nodded and followed Hiei into the building. As they entered, Kurama noticed that it was a bar. He saw dozens of vampires all around and several of them were feeding on fairies. He then noticed a large cage filled with frightened fairies who were huddled together, being touched and poked at by vampires outside of the cage. He followed Hiei to the bar and sat down. Hiei ordered two drinks and looked at a fidgeting Kurama. He rested a hand on Kurama’s shoulder. “You okay? If you want, we can leave.” Kurama shook his head and lowered his wings so that they weren’t taking up space around him. He was handed a glass and he held it up. “Hiei, what is this?” Hiei drank a sip from his own glass and sat it down. “Fairy blood.” Kurama sniffed the liquid before holding the glass to his lips and drinking it. He closed his eyes as the fresh warm blood slid down the back of his throat. After he drank the last drop, he placed the glass down on the bar and looked at Hiei. Hiei smiled. “Did you like it koi?” Kurama’s eyes were now blue and his fangs were now longer. “I want more.” Hiei pointed to the cage. “Take your pick. Any fairy will fulfill your thirst.” Kurama walked to the cage and stared at the fairies. He searched the cage until he saw a white haired, browned-eyed fairy in the middle of the bunch. “That one. The young, white haired boy in the middle.” Hiei stood up and opened the cage. He pulled out the young fairy and pushed him to Kurama. Kurama grabbed the boy and walked him to a room in the back. Hiei followed until they got to the room. “Would you like me to come with you?” “No thanks. I think I’ll have this one myself.” Hiei nodded. “Just stop before the last drop of blood.” Kurama gave Hiei a quick kiss before walking into the small room. Hiei turned toward the cage and pulled out his own meal.
Kurama sat the smaller boy down on a couch and sat down in front of him. He picked up the fairies wrist and used his nail to slit the small wrist. He heard the white haired fairy yelp and start to cry. “What is your name?” “Ryou.” The young fairy answered. Kurama held the small wrist to his mouth and licked up the blood before sucking on the wound. The taste of Ryou’s blood sent chills down Kurama’s spine. He let Ryou’s wrist down and wiped away a crystal tear that fell from the fairies brown eyes. He leaned forward and captured Ryou’s lips in a passionate kiss. Ryou was slowly laid back until Kurama was on top of him. Kurama slid his hands under Ryou’s shirt and felt the smooth skin over Ryou’s chest. When they parted, Kurama moved Ryou’s bangs off of his face. He stared into the soft brown eyes until Ryou broke the silence. “Aren’t you going to kill me?” Kurama raised an eyebrow and ran his sharp fingernail down the side of Ryou’s neck. “Is that what you want?” Ryou nodded. “Why would such a young fairy want to end his life?” Kurama asked curiously. Ryou could feel Kurama moving his hand down his body. “Both of my parents were killed by vampires when I was a baby. The vampires spared my life, but kept me here in this bar, torturing me and bleeding me. I knew that it was only time before I was killed, so I don’t care anymore.” Kurama sighed and stood up. Ryou sat up and watched Kurama walk to the wall. “What’s wrong?” Kurama let out his black sparkled wings. “I was once a fairy before I was turned. All of my family had been killed by vampires, and they forced me to watch and choose how they would die. It scared me so bad that I lost all of my fear of vampires. Sounds crazy, but now that I’m a…hybrid, I’ll have to get used to killing my own kind. When you told me that you didn’t care about your life, it reminded me of how I felt when I was still a fairy.” Kurama sat down beside Ryou and lifted Ryou’s chin. “Your life is too precious to just end. You must go back to the fairy’s world and stay there.” “But I have no where to go.” Kurama smiled. “You can have my old fairy hut. I won’t be needing it anymore.” It was Ryou’s turn to smile. “Thank you.” Kurama kissed Ryou again before getting up and walking to the door. He turned back and winked at Ryou. “See ya around cutie.” Ryou sat on the couch confused about what just happened. “Did he just help me?” Ryou didn’t think twice about it as he got up and left the bar through a back door.
Kurama walked out of the room and back into the bar. His eyes had returned back to their green color. He walked to the bar, sat down and ordered another drink. A hand ran over his back, through his hair. Kurama narrowed his eyes as Karasu sat beside him. “What do you want Karasu?” “You.” Karasu answered immediately. Kurama pushed Karasu’s hand off of his back. “I am not for the taking anymore. I am Hiei’s mate.” Karasu let out a small laugh. “Hiei’s mate? You don’t deserve to be with such a low, unworthy vampire who betrays his won kind and creates a hybrid, which is forbidden in both worlds.” “Don’t talk about Hiei like that.” “Okay, I won’t.” Karasu place his hand on Kurama’s crotch, feeling the bulge within the close-fitting pants. “Let’s talk about us.” Kurama stood up and walked away from Karasu and found Hiei sitting on a couch, feeding on a fairy. He stood around a corner and watched as Hiei held both of the fairy’s wrists in a tight hold at the side of the fairy. The fairy soon became weak and Hiei let it drop to the floor. Kurama gasped and walked to Hiei. He sat down and kissed Hiei, slowly licking the blood off of Hiei’s lips. Hiei wrapped his arms around Kurama’s waist and deepened the kiss. He pushed Kurama to lay back so that he could lie on top of Kurama. His hand cupped Kurama’s crotch and rubbed it up and down, hearing a soft moan that escaped Kurama’s lips.
Karasu watched the two on the couch, his vampire ears could picking up ever one of Kurama’s moans. Kurama’s moans were driving Karasu crazy. He wanted to hear Kurama moan his name while he made hot, passionate sex to him. He longed for that fairies touch and the taste of his blood. “I’ve got to find a way to make Kurama mine. But how?” He could see Hiei turn Kurama over onto his hands and knees and run a hand down Kurama’s tight pants. Hiei rammed his hips against Kurama’s behind and slapped his ass. Karasu pushed the vampires out of the way so that he could watch Hiei and Kurama in the back. Karasu noticed that Hie was slowly humping Kurama while holding onto his hips. Karasu couldn’t stand it anymore, he left the bar and walked along a long abandoned road, to an old building which, held the oldest vampire alive. He went inside the old building and through the long hallways to the back room. He entered the room and took a seat in a chair next to a large desk. The chair behind the desk was facing the other way, but slowly turned toward Karasu. “What brings you here, Karasu?” Karasu smiled and leaned forward on the desk. “I want the ability to shape shift.” Bakura leaned back in his chair. “Why?” The older vampire questioned. Karasu grinned. “There is someone that I want, but can’t have because he has been claimed by a higher vampire.” “I see. In order to learn this ability, you will have to stay in this old building for two months.” “Two months? Easy enough, especially with the reward for all of the training.” Bakura smiled. “Alright then, let’s get started.” Bakura led Karasu to the back of the house to begin his two months of training.
