Chapter 7: The Truth Is Out
Keiko’s funeral came and went, Botan delivered her soul safely. Yukina stayed away from Koenma, she knew it was him but thought she couldn’t do anything. Hiei grumbled about what he was going to do if he finds out who is killing everyone. Kurama sighed. “We need to find out! Come on we need to go back through each death and examine every detail.” Hiei nodded. “Right behind you.” They ran off.
Yukina was with Kuwabara in the grassy area and they were talking. “Hey Yukina are you and Koenma fighting?” She looked away with her tears was softly thudding on the grass. “What’s wrong?” He made her face him. “I-I hate him! He hurt me!” Kuwabara shot up. “Hurt you? When!? How!? Yukina what did he do!?” She looked to the side and sighed. “He forced himself on me. I told Keiko and see what happened!”
Kuwabara felt his world shatter around him. “I’m going to kill that bastard!” He went running and Yukina chased. “No! He’ll just hurt you too!” Kuwabara didn’t listen all he cared about was to avenge his beloved Yukina. In the castle Botan flew out of the way as an enraged Kuwabara flew by and a sobbing Yukina behind him.
“What in the world?’ She chased after both of them, being nosey. ‘Must be fighting.’ They plowed through the ogres and burst into Koenma’s office. Botan shut the door against the prying eyes. Koenma stood up. “What’s going on here?” Kuwabara grabbed him by the front of his shirt and shook him. “You son of a bitch! How dare you do that to Yukina!” Botan was confused. “What? What did he do?”
Kuwabara punched him hard and the God hit the floor. “He…he raped Yukina Botan!” Botan’s eyes went wide in shock. “No. He would never do a thing like that!” Koenma pulled himself up and dusted his cloths off. *What are we going to do now? What now?* Koenma smiled at them with a tilt of his head. “Nemuru!” All three went unconscious as the sleep spell was called out. He stuck his head out. “George.” George came in and stopped short. “Help me put these three in the dungeon.” He gulped. “But Sir…” A slap quieted him down.
“George, we take the secret way!” He pushed a panel, which opened a hidden door. When they went through and started down the door closed. They finally made it to the dungeon. Koenma chained them up on the wall and hummed. Koenma then gagged them and went skipping back to the office while George followed him. Koenma took out a sword. *Time to fire some employees.* When George ran, many others followed.
Not all got away, Koenma swung one way decapitating two, swung the other and cut three more in half. By the time he was done 10 of the 50 ogres were lying in pieces on the floor. “My nice floor, you guys better clean this pig sty up!” With that he went to the dungeon through the hidden door.
Yusuke walked down the hall, when Hiei and Kurama greeted him. “Hey, what’s up?” Hiei grabbed him. “We found some clues. Come on we’ll explain.” Hiei pulled him along. “First where was Yama, Koenma’s father. Second and third are friends. They all know one person.” Yusuke shook his head. Hiei grimaced. “Koenma. He was supposed to meet his father, supposedly. He was gone and then Shizuke was killed. Now Keiko we don’t know why.”
Yusuke didn’t want to bel any any of it. “You’re lying. It’s not true!” Kurama grabbed his arm, making him stop. “You know he can get violent. I’ve seen you with a split lip and don’t say otherwise.” Yusuke didn’t say anything. Hiei looked at them. “Come on.” They headed to the office and when they entered they stopped quickly. “Holy shit!” Hiei growled. “See!” Yusuke swallowed. “This can’t be.” They stepped over the pieces of the former employees. They stopped when they heard footsteps; George gingerly stepped in and sighed. “I thought I heard someone talking.”
Hiei grabbed him. “What the hell happened!?” George had tears welling up in his eyes. “Koenma he took Botan, Kuwabara and Yukina to the dungeon. Then I-I don’t know he just came after all the workers. The last 40 and me escaped. Koenma’s crazy, he’s always been off, but lately it’s gotten worst.” Hiei shook his head. “Yukina!? What, why did he take them? He didn’t hurt her or the others did he?’ George pulled away.
“As far as I know he didn’t hurt Kuwabara or Botan. As for Yukina well…a few weeks ago Koenma did something horrible.” Yusuke head tears streaming down his face. “What did he do?” George looked away. “He wasn’t in the right state of mind.” Yusuke got in his face. “Goddamit just say! What the fuck did he do?!”
George closed his eyes. “He raped her.” Hiei’s skin turned red with anger and his veins popped out. “Take us!” George nodded. “We’ll have to take the long way. Koenma locked the hidden door.” They ran and followed George to the door, a large iron one. “This is the one. Come on.” They ran down the hall and seen the cells. It was chilly and they heard rattling. They ranthe the cells and seen their friends shackled up and gagged. “Kuwabara! Yukina! Botan!” They rushed to the cage and entered.
When they were fully in the door slammed and locked shut. “Well. Well look what I caught.” They turned around and grabbed the bars. Koenma walked out still caked with blood and gore, his eyes large. “You son of a bitch!” Hiei growled. *Uh oh looks like the little bitch found out.* Koenma smiled. “George, I should have known. You always were a bitch.” Koenma looked at Yusuke. “It’s okay. Hope you all sleep well.” Gas started to flood in and he put a mask on. They coughed and tried to get out. They finally collapsed and Koenma opened the door. He carried Yusuke out, laid him on the ground then chained the others up. He gagged them, then left locking the door and taking Yusuke with him.
