Six - The Apple Don't Fall Far
Oh, of course he could blame many things. His mother was always tops on the list. Keiko, for dumping him for Hiei of all guys. For losing the latest Royal Tournament to a woman, well half of one anyhow. How humiliating! But for whatever reason struck the half-demon's fancy, the fact still remained. He had a weakness. A dangerous one.
His 'Father' Reisen had one: Women. Well, one woman, but still. So why shouldn't he have one? One that he could control, he always told himself. As with everything else the Toushin picked up, Yusuke excelled in this. He was told that it was hard for demons to get drunk. But he just had to prove them all wrong.
He learned that by mixing Human World's strongest drinks with those of Demon World's he could reach that place where nothing mattered. Where he wasn't the ruler of a bunch of same-gendered Monks. Where he wasn't alone. Where he wasn't.. Where was he again?
Suddenly, the dark bar seemed too crowded. He had to get out. So he did. Some would call it irony. Some might call it fate. But Koenma wrote it in his records as Yusuke being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He never saw the bus coming. ############## AN: Okay, only one more chapter left in this story and still no reviews. (Moves off wondering if she should continue on to the next character.)
