Hiei's Harem - Pt. 8 - Discovering

Scene 6 ---------- Meanwhile: In The Meadow


* Dagon rolls off of Yusuke to lay beside him and catch his breath. The Toushin just lays, heaving, recovering from the wild session he'd just had. Suddenly he gets a connection with someone familiar, but it's only briefly. Dagon watches Yusuke bolt upright.


Dagon- What?


* Yusuke shakes his head. The aura has disappeared.


Yusuke- Nothing.. Musta been halucinating..

Dagon- After what we just did I'm amazed that you're even conscious.


* Yusuke rolls his head to smirk at Dagon.


Yusuke- I told you.. I ain't no pansy.. But I am starting to see the advantages of these things.


* Yusuke straightens out his green loincloth. He then relaxes back onto his rear carefully and looks around.


Yusuke- So, now we just sit around and wait for this guy to show up?


* Dagon sits up beside Yusuke and nods.


Dagon- Yep. Since I know next to nothing about who the h--- I'm dealing with we play by his rules in his territory.. for now.

Yusuke- I hate waiting.


* Dagon watches Yusuke look away toward a portion of the village that only the Toushin can see clearly. The Crow decides to just study Yusuke to glean what he can from his thoughtful expression. From what Yusuke remembers of the map Murkuro had given him, this is about the area where Hiei had first disappeared. One part of Yusuke wants to ditch the demon beside him and go chase that aura he felt. But another part, causes him to look toward Dagon. He scowls when he sees that the demon Crow is watching him so closely.


Yusuke- D'ya mind?!

Dagon- So you say there's a village over there, hmm?


* Yusuke rolls his eyes, 'Why do I want to stay with this guy?'


Yusuke- Yeah.. Just a bunch of plain huts.. With a mountain behind it.


* He looks at Dagon again.


Yusuke- You don't see it at all?


* Dagon glances in the direction Yusuke was looking.


Dagon- I see the top of the mountain and a fog around it concealing where Gamock's Ravine should be.

Yusuke- It must be some kind of a barrier that low class demons can't see through, then.


* Dagon casts a scowl at Yusuke.


Dagon- Well, from what I can remember Gamock couldn't create barriers.. So the rumors must be true.

Yusuke- Who was this.. Gamock guy? Didn't that cockroach demon tell you he was killed by this new guy?

Dagon- Gamock was a very old, very ugly Hyena demon.. And Shironji is a Ninjini demon, not a cockroach.. At this point, I'm not too trusting of him. But we have no choice but to wait. If this guy killed Gamock, he's no slouch.

Yusuke- Just say the word and I could level that village, take out whoever put up that barrier, and be done with all this waiting.


* Dagon chuckles.


Dagon- D---, you are impatient.. I know you're not very familliar with this region, but you don't just ramsack a new Alpha's territory.. Until you size him up. It's not honorable.


* Yusuke shrugs and lays back again to stare up at the sky. He tries to ignore the dull pain in his rear and lower back from their recent activity.


Dagon- Besides, I've always gone with my gut feelings. My gut tells me that there's something about this guy.. Similar to the way I felt when I laid eyes on you, Pet.


* Yusuke can't help but sneer. Dagon turns to lean on an arm and looks down at Yusuke. For a couple moments he studies the large red warding mark on Yusuke's chest that keeps the Toushin's energy masked. When he starts to lay his free hand on it Yusuke stops him.


Yusuke- No.. Not yet.. As much as I hate waiting.. and agreeing with a bird.. You're right. We need to wait until we meet this guy and see what all the hoopla's about.


* Dagon withdraws his hand but continues to stare at Yusuke.


Yusuke- What? S---, don't tell me that you're ready to go again..

Dagon- No. You need to rest.. You just.. fascinate me.. Maybe I'm not too familiar with how strong you really are.. But I do know that you have enough power to dispell my ward and dispatch me.


* Yusuke just grunts and looks away again.


Dagon- So why don't you?


* For several moments Yusuke doesn't respond.


Yusuke- You own me.

Dagon- I can release you.. Would you leave then?


* Yusuke glances up at him.


Yusuke- Would you want me to?

Dagon- Honestly.. No.

Yusuke- Then why ask?

Dagon- What happened, Yu-Yu?


* Yusuke scowls but doesn't answer.


Dagon- I know what Matsua does isn't pleasant for the ones he considers 'stock'..

Yusuke- Don't ever mention that b------'s name again!

Dagon- You left somebody there..


* Yusuke closes his eyes and turns onto his side away from Dagon.


Yusuke- I'm tired. I'm going to catch a nap now.

Dagon- Was it a friend..? Or a mate?

Yusuke- Just leave me the h--- alone now, would ya?

Dagon- Yu-Yu,..

Yusuke- Snore!


* Dagon sighs, then gets an idea of what will break the Toushin's sullen mood. He reaches down and begins to lift the hem of the rear flap of Yusuke's green loincloth. The Toushin growls and half rolls to slap his hand away cursing.


Yusuke- Go away, ya d--- pervy Crow!


* Dagon chuckles then moves away to begin gathering up some kindling wood. It'll be dark soon and they'll need a fire.
