Scene 6 ------------------------------------------- Shishi's Hospital Room
* When Koenma and Yusuke enter they find that Hiei has rolled Shishi on his side and is using a soft brush on his mate's blue hair. Hiei glances toward them.
Hiei- It had better not be about my boys again.
Koenma- No.. I.. uh.. sent them to the library a couple hours ago..
Hiei- Well, whatever it is it can wait until I'm done taking care of him.
* Koenma starts to speak but Yusuke gets ahold of the Toddler, clamping a hand over his mouth.
Yusuke- We'll just be out in the hall.
* Hiei watches them leave.
Hiei- Hn.
* He turns back to Shishi as he wills his jagan to open some. In the hall Yusuke yells when Koenma poofs into his Teen form, landing on one of the Toushin's bare feet. Yusuke hobbles away to sit on a chair cursing.
Yusuke- D--- it! I hate it when you f---ing do that!
Koenma- Time is important.. We need to tell Hiei what has happened..
Yusuke- You're the one who's already waited this long!
* Yusuke looks up at Koenma rubbing his thumping foot.
Yusuke- But show some class now.. You can't tell him about another tragedy while he's in there handling the one he lives with every day..
* Koenma crosses his arms as he looks at Yusuke.
Koenma- You do know that he still has a jagan. Right?
* Yusuke swallows then looks at an angry Hiei when he comes out of Shishi's room.
Yusuke- I'm sorry, Hiei. King Wannabe stepped on my brain.
* Yusuke holds his foot up and wiggles his toes with a brief, nervous laugh.
Hiei- I should burn your brain.. What is going on with you two now?
* Yusuke lowers his foot and looks up at Koenma.
Yusuke- Take it, Junior.
* Koenma sighs and looks seriously at the short demon.
Koenma- Shizuru was killed by a band of rogue demons.
* Hiei looks up at the Teen blankly.
Yusuke- Shizuru.. Smoker babe.. Kuwabara's sister..
* Now Hiei remembers the name and all three of his eyes glare at Yusuke, one thankfully warded. Yusuke still raises a hand to shield his face as he looks away.
Yusuke- Don't use that on me.. I didn't send them..
Hiei- Where is Imiko?!
* Hiei turns his glare up at Koenma.
Koenma- Yukina was in the park with Shizuru at the time..
Hiei- So where is she?
Koenma- We.. don't know.
Hiei- You.. don't know?!
Yusuke- Do you know a Fire demon named Ryuji?
* Koenma watches Hiei look at Yusuke again with annoyance.
Hiei- I have a half brother by that name.. He's Father's oldest true son.. About five years younger than me.. Is that enough information for your brain?
Koenma- Would you recognize each other?
* Hiei turns the same look up at Koenma.
Hiei- You two seriously need a hobby other than annying me.. Of course I know my own brother.. Not that it's any of your business, but he works under Mukuro as well.
* Hiei watches Koenma and Yusuke exchange puzzled glances.
Hiei- What is going on? What does Ryu have to do with this?
Koenma- You need to come see the footage I have, Hiei.
* Koenma turns and starts off toward the elevator. Yusuke falls into step beside Hiei as they follow the Prince.
Yusuke- So when did you see this brother of yours last?
* Hiei thinks, ignoring Yusuke when he sniffs toward Hiei 'discreetly'.
Hiei- I believe it's been a couple weeks.. He takes short leaves to handle clan business.
Yusuke- So he knows that you're his brother?
* Hiei looks sideways up at Yusuke after they step into the elevator.
Hiei- Walking on your brain is damaging it.. Of course he knows, idiot!
* Hiei looks away as the elevator's doors close on them.
