Chapter 5: Who are these people?

The gang starts heading to the front of the temple and sees Yukina stepping outside to greet them. “Well hello everyone.” Yukina smiling gently.

“YUKINA. My sweet love.” Kuwabara runs up with this joyous love look on his face. Catching up to her, he kneels down with one knee, declaring his love for her. “OH YUKINA. How your face brings warmth in my heart.” While declaring his love, a growl was coming from behind. And Kuwabara didn't noticing it.

‘Hiei calm down.’ Kurama tries to calming down his friend.

‘Hn’ You can tell that his right eye was twitching because of an annoying someone that we just all know.(******coughcoughKuwabaracough******)

“Well what brings you here at the temple at this hour.” Wonders Yukina.

“Well, we were going to ask Genkai to help us on a problem but we didn’t know that she had ………… company.” Kurama informs. He was starting to feel the aura a lot stronger now by getting closer to the temple. He didn’t know who these people were but he wasn’t going to go down without solving an interesting puzzle. Especially because of his kitsune nature. The Youko inside of him was getting very intrigued with this. He took a side ways glance at Hiei and knew that his friend was thinking the same thing.

Except if he didn’t get any answers then all hell will break loose. With the help of his trusty katana.

‘I hope Hiei doesn’t cause too much damage.' Kurama hopes.

((‘Right you are Red. You know how the fire brat is. Kill first and asks questions later. We don’t what that to happen now do we Red.)) Youko, his counterpart suggests.

‘Agreed’

“Oh….. well come inside. Genkai will be with you in a moment.” Yukina leads them in the temple. ‘I wonder why they have luggage with them. Are they suppose to stay in the temple for awhile.’ Shrugging Yukina leads the others in the main room. A little further from where Genkai is still talking to the girls. ‘I hope everything will be alright. They all look worried for some reason.’ Yukina thought for a while and ask Kuwabara. “Kazuma, is there something wrong.”

Kuwabara looks down at her. “Of course not.” Then he looks down while walking. “Just have a lot of stuff in mind that’s all.” Look down to her again and shows a small smile.

Seeing him uncomfortable, Yukina didn’t push it too further and smiles back. She will probably get the answers when Genkai comes back. They enter in main room and set the luggage down on the floor. While waiting for Genkai to arrive, they all had to relax for the time being. Yukina, accompanied with Keiko, went to the kitchen to make tea for everyone. Yusuke and Kuwabara sat on the couch while Botan and Shizuru sat in the left over chairs. Kurama and Hiei lean against the wall. All in awhile waiting for Genkai to come. However, what everyone was thinking right now is who Genkai is accompany with in the other room. Each one of them thinking their own thoughts.

‘Man, I have never felt anything like this before. Gives me the creeps.’ Kuwabara shivers at the thought.

‘Who the hell could come up with that type of power. What the fuck is going on.’ Muses Yusuke.

‘Now I know that I felt this before from somewhere. It’s at the tip of my tongue. Urgh………..Why can’t I remember.’ Botan is now frustrated.

‘Man. I must of smoked my last one. Damn.’ Shizuru mentally curses.

In the kitchen, Keiko is having a bit of a problem trying to concentrate making the tea. ‘Why can’t I get this feeling off of me. It feels some what familiar but where and when did I feel it before.’ Then it hit her. This wasn’t the first time she felt this before. She didn’t know how to describe it. At first when she felt it over not too long ago, that it felt like she was being reborn somewhat. Well, when she did feel it the first time, she almost fainted. At first it was some what painful, but then it felt like there was a surge of power going inside of her body. She also remembered that it was the time when Yusuke was killed in the car accident. The only thought that came to mind back then was that she thought that she over worked herself from school and work or from the grieving for Yusuke’s death. Boy was she wrong. Now it's come back, but not so forceful, she started to wondered what was wrong with her. What’s going on? What’s happening to me? Why is this happening? What does this mean? A lot of questions started to pop in her mind and she was not getting a answer back.

“Keiko are you alright.” Keiko blinks and turns to her side to see a worried Yukina. “Uhh…..sorry about that. Must of spaced out.” She smiles now. “Don’t worry about me Yukina. I’m alright.” Whispering the last part, Keiko goes back to mixing the tea. Yukina had a confusing face at first then shrugged and went to the task of mixing tea as well. But also keeping an eye on Keiko. Just in case. She didn’t know why, but Keiko has been very unusually quiet when she arrived at the temple with the other. At first she thought that it was the unusual energy that the others have been sensing from the girls in the other room. She knew why the girls were powerful. Not with just their energy that she sensed, but what they are as well. With that, she thought that Keiko was just worried about the uneasiness that the other were feeling. However. Keiko has been “spacing out”, as she calls it, too much and it’s not caused by the uncomfortable edginess in the air. Yukina starting to get very worried. Keiko never acted like this before. It’s almost as like what Genkai act for the past four days. She didn’t know why, but by how Keiko is acting, there didn’t look to be a reason why she was acting like this. She knew why Genkai was acting for the past four days when Ally and Dez came. But why was Keiko acting somewhat the same way. She had to make sure that she can do as much as possible to figure out what was going on.

“Well….Well….Well. What do I owe the pleasure of you kids coming to my temple today?”

Everyone in the main room turns and see Genkai in the door frame with her hands behind her back and looking at everyone in the room. But that’s not the half of it. Kuwabara looks at her and sees that Genkai has that look again. The same look that she showed for the past couple of days that he visited the temple. However, he wasn’t the only one that saw this. Yukina and Keiko came from the kitchen with trays with the tea and stop walking when they saw Genkai at the door. Yukina looks to him and knows that she’s thinking the same thing as well. He looked around the room and saw that Yusuke was starting to see it too. Kurama and Hiei too. Hell everyone was starting to notice.

“Genkai. Is there something wrong. Your acting the same way as you were a couple of days ago.” Kuwabara asks with concerned written all over his face.

The others turned to look at him with confused looks on their faces. ‘So this is how the old hags been acting for the past few days now. Kuwabara was right. I never saw that kind of look on her face before. Something must be serious if she has that kind of look.’ Yusuke ponders.

“No Kuwabara, everything is all right. All right indeed.” Genkai replays.

“Master Genkai, what do you mean by ‘all right indeed’.” Curiosity shown on the foxes face.

“You can say that all of my questions that have been in my mind for sometime have been answered.” Genkai informed them.

However, neither of them know what the hell she was talking about. All except of Yukina that is. Yukina was now glad that she knew why the old master has been acting a bit for the past few days now. ‘Genkai was probably sensing the danger that Japan is in right now. With the Hell Mouth and Vampires and all.’ Yukina smiles mentally. She just can’t wait until everyone sees that the most incredible energy that they felt……..was from two teenage girls………two teenage girls from another country too that is. She know how some of them would react. Especially the ones with demon blood in their vines.

“What The Fuck Does That Mean You Old Hag.” Yusuke was starting to get irradiated.

“Shut up dimwit.” Genkai was starting to lose her temper.

There was a long staring contest between Genkai and Yusuke and neither of them were giving up.

“So that’s the dimwit you were talking about. What a bad mouth.” Everyone turns to see two unknown girls behind Genkai. Yusuke breaks eye contact with Genkai and looks to see who the hell that was. What he didn't suspect were two teenage girls. Two very hot teenage girls. Since Yusuke broke their eye contest, Genkai turns the face the girls. “Well yes. The bad mouth you are referring to is the dimwit I was talking about.” Answering Dez’s statement.

“Well at least his not that much of a bad mouth as you are Dez.” I’m smirking and eyeing my friend while overhearing some very interesting words that she was cursing under her breathe. “I heard that.” Smirking even more. All Dez is doing is glaring at me. I just loves to tease her like that. Everyone is looking at this in amusement. Well except for short guy. We were interrupted with someone clearing their throat.

“Well anyway girls let me introduce you to them. The dimwit I talked about earlier is Yusuke Urameshi, my apprentice.” Genkai pointing to a boy about sixteen or seventeen years old with dark brown hair gel back and as tall at about 5‘9. Also that his eyes are like the same exact color as mine with the chocolate brown color. Except he doesn’t have the tint of gold that I have. Dez and I can both tell that the boys personality was like of a punk and a bad boy kind of a guy. But we could tell also that even though he might be a tough guy on the outside, inside he cares for the people that he cares about the most. Probably everyone in this room. Give or take a couple, maybe.

“The one standing on Yusuke’s left is Kazuma Kuwabara. A friend of Yusuke’s.” Pointing to the guy that was as tall as a giant. Well, in my opinion of course. He was probably the same age as Yusuke, with somewhat of a orange red color of his hair and has a wacky Elvis Presley style to it. His eyes were of a light blue color. Now his height by what Dez and I could tell was that he must be between 6’1 to 6’3 tall. To me…………..much taller then that. Also that his personally was that of loyalty. That and of true love. Right now both Dez and I can tell that he was head over heels for special girl and both of us were pretty sure who that person is.(**********coughcoughYukinacough********)

“Now the one by Kuwabara is his sister Shizuru Kuwabara.” Pointing to a woman who looked about her early twenties. She also has long brown hair that goes down to her shoulder blades and she has brown eyes. A lot lighter then Yusuke’s and mine. She stands about three inches shorter, maybe four inches shorter then her brother. She looks to be a cool and collected person. I took a tiny peek on her left and saw that she has a pack cigarettes in her pocket. ‘By the looks of it, I would say that it’s empty. I’m going to ask Dez if she could give her a couple. I think she is the type of person who needs them. And by the looks of her brother, I’m guessing that sometimes he would give her a hard time…………however more liking that she would yell the shit out of him.’ That’s when I know that she was like me, in some types of ways.

“The bubble head over there behind Yusuke is Botan.” Pointing to a girl that seems……quite cheerful. She has long blue hair in a high pony tail and….pink eyes? ‘OOOOkay, that’s strange. Is she wearing contacts?’ She stand at about 5’7, I think, and dressed in a neat attire. I notice that she is carrying some sort of broom. Without the brushes. ‘More like a giant paddle if you ask me.’ But there was something about her that I can’t quite pin out. It’s like when you’re around her, there is this coldness in the air. Almost like death. I mentally shake it off.

“The one against the wall is Hiei. And don’t mind him. His not that type of person that talks a lot.” Genkai concludes, pointing to the one called Hiei. Now this guy is a whole new ball game. This guy is like the same height as me. And that hair. Now I want to know what his secret is for having his hair defy gravity. But what was cute was the white starburst on the front of his hair. And what is with the white bandana. I can tell that this guy is going to be a victim of Dez‘s jokes. Now there is one thing that I hate about was not just Dez’s jokes on me…….but people that are also the same height as me. Lets just say that she makes fun of everyone’s height that seems shorter then her. After all, she’s only about three, maybe four inches taller than me. And I’m barely 5 foot. But what was more intense was his eyes. Never in my life have I see that type of eye color in a person like him. It was intense ruby red eye color. ‘Damn. Now that is the type of eye color that I can just look on for days. Not to mention that his not that bad looking either. I wouldn’t mind having his hands all ove…Whoa….Whoa….Whoa…..BAD ALYSSA…….BAD ALYSSA……..stop thinking kinky thoughts……..stop thinking kinky thoughts. You have a job to do. Not go gaah gaah over a guy.’ I mentally breathe in and out. I take a side glance to my friend and I know what she is thinking with that cocky grin of hers. ‘I hope she doesn’t do something stupid about her dumb short jokes. This guy looks like he will be beyond pissed off.’ And right I was. I can tell that this guy can be violate if he wants to. Other then that, all he does is gives off is a bored face. I also notice is that he has some type of sword on the side of his waist. ‘Maybe I can spare with him. See how his good with that sword of his.’ I started smirking. Finally, I’m able to find someone who knows how to use a sword. Dez’s doesn’t know shit how to use a sword and the other girlfriends haven’t use that much practice.

“The next to Hiei in Shuichi Minamino.” Point to the most gorgeous guy I have ever seen. ‘My hormones must be acting up for some reason.’ I groan mentally. This is not my day. The guy stands about 5’11 and has fiery red hair I have ever seen. ‘Man I wonder how soft his hair feels like under my fing……….STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT.’ I mentally breathe in and out again. I have been staying with Dez for way too long. But beside his hair, his eyes are like a emerald forest green that is quite beautiful, for a guy to have them I mean. ‘Is it just me or did they just turned gold all of a sudden.’ I mentally shank my head. ‘It most be the hormones, making me see thing.’ From what I can tell by looking at the guy, he seem calm and gentle. However his figure is not that muscular but seem stronger than he looks. I’m guessing his probably the brain of the outfit. He seems to have a lot of intelligence and wisdom. Also, what I’m guessing is that his is probably the same age as me and Dez. Except Dez is a few months younger than me. ‘Is it just me, or does he smell a hint of rose. Don’t tell me his a plant lover. Man. First I had to endure Kaitlin’s talent for her plant and now him.’ I was irritated. I sighed. ‘Well, if he doesn’t use his plants as weapons on me then I’m okay with it.’ (*A/N: How she is so wrong. And also I will also explain Kaitlin later on in future chapters.*)

“And the last one that is standing beside Yukina is Keiko Yukimura, Yusuke’s fiancé.” Pointing to the last but not least member of this happy group I guess. The girl seems about the same age as Yusuke and Kuwabara. She stands at about I would say a couple of inches taller then Dez, which is about 5’4 maybe. She has the same length of hair as mine that goes down the mid-back and same color hair as Shizuru. Her eyes are also brown as well. ‘Isn’t a girl in her age a little too early to plan to get married, or is how it is in this country.’ I will never know and kind of don’t want to know. However, this girl puzzles me. She has the same types of aura as me and Dez. Along with the other girls as well. I could tell that Dez senses it too. Other then the aura, the girl seems kind hearted and has a strong spirit. The type of spirit that both Dez and I would have. She seems friendly as well, but I still would like to find out about this girl. Both of us have to.

“Now everyone meet Alyssa Hyne and Dezarie Smithson.” Pointing to the girls. “These girls are from the States and came by for a visit.” Genkai informed them. You can see that all of their faces were of shock and confusion.

“Why look so shocked. Never seen any American girls before.” Dez implied.

“No it’s not that.” Kurama pauses and pondered. “We were just wondering what would two teenage American’s would want to do in temple far away from town. Clearly not touring the city of course.” Kurama calmly pointed out.

“Well,….Shuichi is it, we came to Japan to have some business here taken care of and needed to drop by at the temple to have a talk with Master Genkai. It was a matter of importance.” Ally informed.

“Hn. You know. From coming from a different country, you speak quite good for a onna.” Hiei said in a boring tone.

‘Well well well, isn’t he just a smart ass. And what the hell does ‘onna’ mean anyway.’ Aly gets irritated and quickly gets her small Japanese dictionary from jacket pocket just in case. She looks up the word thoroughly and finds it. When she read the definition of the word……she started to flare in anger. ‘WHO THE FUCK DOES HE THINK HE IS CALLING ME A WOMAN. I HAVE A FUCKING NAME. OOHHH WAIT UNTIL I GET MY HANDS ON THAT SPIKEY HAIRED BASTARD.’ Her anger is rising. ‘I GOING TO CUT OFF HIS DICK AND SHOVE IT UP HIS ASS. OR BETTER YET, CUT OFF HIS BALLS AND SHOVE THAT DOWN HIS MOTHER FUCKING THROAT AND FORCE FEED HIM UNTIL HE CHOKES TO DEATH.’ Ally's knuckles start to turn white from fisting her hand too tight. While distracted by her anger, Dez takes the dictionary from her friends hand and read the word that made Ally’s mind go in over drive. Reading the definition, she pales. She started to slowly turn her head to Alyssa and release a tiring long sigh. ‘If I know Alyssa hates being called short, it’s other than to call her other names as well. I pity that guys poor soul but she has to stop before she makes a scene with that anger of hers.’ Dez contemplates.

Placing a hand on Ally’s shoulder, Dez moves closer to whisper in her ear. “Alyssa, you have to calm down or you will make a scene. I’m not trying to be mean or anything but you have to stop or you will lose control and your powers will go hay wire.” Using her calming voice that she rarely use to ease her friend off her anger rage. Hearing her friends calming words, Alyssa takes deep breathes and regains control of her temper. However, Hiei sees this as amusement with her little anger from the back of his corner.

Although, Kurama might think it’s amusing too, he thought his friend was a little too rash and rude. ‘Hiei that was uncalled for.

‘Hn. Maybe she should get her temper in control.’ shouting a glare at the fox.

‘Still that was rude of you. Didn’t you feel the spike in her energy. I suggest that you don’t anger her for the time being.’

‘I’ll do whatever I want Fox. Don’t try to suggest anything.’

‘ Fine by me. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you.’

‘Hn. Like I would be afraid of her. Please.’

((‘I wouldn’t be surprised if she actually kicked you ass firefly.’)) Youko joined in their conversation.

Ignoring the nickname, Hiei continued. ‘Like that onna could kick my ass. I like to see her try.’ He bluntly said.

((‘I don’t know. She seems strong to hold her ground. And a feisty one too.’)) Youko implied, thinking perverted thought and mentally licking his lips.

‘Youko do you mind.’ Trying to block the images.

((‘What.’))

Hiei cutting himself off of the connection. ‘Kitsune no hentai.’ (*A/N: Which means ‘perverted fox’ as you guessed.*)

A/N: Hey you guys hows it going. I know and I'm sorry I didn't post this soon and all but I had to work a lot and I needed to setup my schedules for my classed next semester and all. I know I said this before that this chapter doesn't have that much going on, expect the part with my OC Alyssa getting really pissed off at Hiei and all. I know that I said that I would probably going to pair Kurama with OC Alyssa, but now I'm not so sure. I'm thinking of accually pairing both Kurama and Hiei with Alyssa. I'm already finished with chapter 7 now and in the middle of chapter 8 to finish. I also like to inform you guys is that I probably not going to post chapter 7 until I come back from the convention I'm going to in NJ, AnimeNext 2006, which would be after the 18th of June. The convention goes to the 16th to the 18th but I'm leaving to day before and all. So anyway, I would like the review and all to see what the pairing I should put for Alyssa OC. With Hiei and Kurama, or just Kurama. Well got to go.
