Kurama, of course had eventually had to go to school, being the student that you had learned he was, his sudden leave didn’t surprise you.

A couple hours later, you were still sitting in the kitchen, however now you were reading a book. Hiei had stopped in once to get some water and neither of you had spoken to each other. Now, as you finished your book, you regretted having not asked him about when he planned on telling Koenma who you really were. As if on cue, Hiei walked into the room, sweating and obviously exhausted from the few hours of training he had done while you read.

“Hey Hiei?” you questioned him as he once again got a glass of water before sitting in his window seat,

“Hn,” You paused before going on, “Remember when you said you would think about telling Koenma who I was?” you asked. Simply by the tone of voice you were using, Hiei could tell where you were going with this, and decided to save you the breath. “I said I would think about your offer,” He corrected you. You looked confused.

“What offer?” He sighed, “You said you would ‘do anything if I told Koenma’” he said, and you realized he 3as right, “…and?” you asked, “And, I intend to hold you to that if you ever want me to tell the toddler anything.”

You thought about it for a minute, and decided that Hiei couldn’t really do anything, so you agreed….Stupid Stupid Stupid!

It had been two days since Hiei had told Koenma who you really were, and of course, Koenma was furious that he hadn’t said anything sooner. You however, were very grateful for Koenma’s long lecture he was giving Hiei, simply because it gave you a chance to get some sleep.

You were falling asleep with your face on the window in the window seat when Hiei walked in, and you stayed that way for a few minutes until your brain seemed to realize that the distant yelling had ceased, and that Hiei was smirking at you from three feet away.

“Tired?” he asked, and you failed miserably in glaring sleepily at him with half of a blush on your face. He smirked, and walked away to get something to eat out of the refrigerator. You yawned and let your face rest against the window again, sighing and waiting for Hiei to leave. It only took him a few more seconds before he left. You fell asleep again.

An hour or so later, you woke up for a third time that morning. This time however, you didn’t go back to sleep. You yawned once, and stood up, walking out the door. You wandered around the hallways for a while, until you found what you were looking for. A door. You sighed and walked in quietly, knowing that it wouldn’t help your presence go unnoticed by Hiei. Of course he knew you were there the second you walked in, and you were pinned to the wall with cold steel. You winced, and he smirked much to your disgust before he let you go.

Looking around the road, you saw that the walls were lined with mats that weren’t at all as forgiving as they appeared, weights were in a corner of the large room, and on another wall you noticed a door that said ‘storage’.

You sighed and looked back at Hiei who was smirking evilly, “How long did it take you to find your way here?” he asked you in a way that made you wonder if he was being sarcastic or cold, but you didn’t really care, ignoring the question all together.

Stepping around him, you stifled a yawn with your hand, and turned to look back at Hiei, “Can we just get this over with?” you asked with a sigh. His face had returned to it’s normal serious state, and he ‘Hn’ed before walking to the storage closet, where you decided to follow him.

It had been about an hour you guessed, as you panted on the floor, glancing at the clock. You tried to scramble to your feet, but cold steel was pressed firmly against your neck. You rested your fingers on the blade gently, so as not to cut yourself. Hiei glared at you and you almost winced under his gaze, but you didn’t. You waited for him to remove the blade, but he didn’t this time. You gave him a weird look, but he continued to glare, pressing more firmly down on your neck with the katana blade.

“Hiei?” you managed to whisper through your shock. He never ceased his glare, but stood up, and sheathed his katana. You sat up against the wall, massaging your neck with your hands. You never looked away from Hiei however, as he turned and walked towards the storage room. You stood up and sighed, waiting for him to come back. Instead he told you to leave before he even opened the storage room’s door.

It was about 9 o’clock at night, and you were sitting in the kitchen, playing cards with Yusuke.

“Gin!” he yelled triumphantly. You scoffed and stood up, after being beat five times in cards, you weren’t very encouraged to try again. Sighing, you leaned on the counter, stealing a piece of chicken from whatever Kurama was cooking. Your hand was slapped away, and you glared playfully at him, before sitting down across from Yusuke again.

About an hour and a half later, and you were laying on the floor in the bedroom, thinking about anything and everything that has been happening to you lately. Your mind wandered for hours, and you eventually found yourself in a comfortable position on the floor, and you fell asleep.
