Chapter 5
Doubt and Reassurance
Gomen nasai mina-san for not writing sooner. I have had problems with myd drd drive and it just does not want to work at all. Here is chapter 5 and I hope you like it.
Saphire sat in a chair by her window as she stared at the stars. The events from earlier still played in her mind. “How did he sneak up on me like that?” she wondered as she laid her head down on her arms. “Am I that weak? What do Hiei and Kurama think of me? What about the others? Does mina-san think I am weak as well? Am still qualified to be on the team or do I just need to be on my own?” With all the thoughts running through her head, Saphire began to cry.
Yusutoodtood up from the table and picked up his plate. Hiei and Kurama got up as well as he was putting the plate in the sink. “How is she?”
Kurama shook his head as he rinsed off his plate. “She hasn’t left her room since we got home today.” Placing the dish in the sink, he leaned back on the counter next to it and sighed. “Hiei and I have left her alone today, but I can’t help but wonder if that was a wise decision.”
Hiei leaned back on the counter directly across from Kurama and crossed his arms. Yusuke sat in the chair placing his arms behind his head. “Hn. I just wished that I had killed the bastard when I had the chance.”
“Yea but the jerk made Saphire fall into you and Kurama so he could escape.” Yusuke said closing his eyes. “When I followed him out of the window he entered a portal outside and went into the Maikai. I say we go and talk to Genkai and see what she says. Besides, she has been on my case for not getting you guys to bring Saphire to meet her sence we met her. I say that the old bat might know something about your mysterious lover anyway. uramurama pushed away from the counter. “Why not go tomorrow afternoon?”
Sound good to me. I need to check up on my sister anyway.” Hsaidsaid walking out of the room. “I suggest you and me go and check up on Saphire, Fox. Yusuke I seem to remember that tonight is your night to so the dishes.”
Yusuke laughed as the two youkai left the room. “Damn you Hiei. Sometimes I wish that you had a bad memory.”
Saphire got up from her seat at the window and went to her dresser. Putting on a black silk night gown that came to her mid thigh she smiled as she found peace with her self. “I haveer ber been the one to wallow in self pity anyway. I know that Kurama and Hiei love me and I know that I am not weak. Ryo just wants me to doubt myself.” She thought as she crawled into bed. I wonder if they will notice that I am wearing silk?” Lying on her stomach she turned the lights off using her telekinesis. She had just crossed her arms under the pillow when Hiei and Kurama entered the room. Crawling into bed beside her they both curled up next to her and Saphire fell into a peaceful sleep.
Gome nasai again mina-san. I know it is short but my muse is making me write another story. it is going to be in the Inuyasha section and it is a cross over with Yu Yu Hakusho. Don't worry. It is a toltally diferant character. And no she will not go after Inuyasha! Just his brother. Hahahahaha! I hope you enjoy both storys. please review. if you want to e-mail me my e-mail has changed.
