Hiei's Harem: Pt. 7 - Consequences

Thanks for the reviews I've gotten so far. :o) This is one of those long scenes I got carried away with on paper, so I had to break it up. Anywho, let's go inside the hut and see what happens.

Scene 5 -------------- Inside The Hut


* When Hiei follows the Lynx inside they find three young cubs playing a game on the common area's floor.


Habataro- Go outside and play, kits.


* Hiei watches them put the game away and hurry past him, chasing each other out the door. When the rush is over Habataro chuckles.


Habataro- Forgive them, they're too young yet to understand who you are.

Hiei- Hn.. Are they your only children?


* Habataro shakes his head emphatically.


Habataro- I've had ten cubs so far.. Most are grown with their own families here in the village.. Those are my three youngest.. My Alpha Mate, Roqueyo, will be coming into her cycle again soon, but we're undecided yet whether she wants anymore.. Especially since my two younger mates are already expecting from this Spring's season.. May I get you something, Sir?

Hiei- No.. I didn't come in here to eat or pry into your personal life.


* Habataro looks at Hiei again.


Habataro- Is there something I can help you with?

Hiei- I wish to be assured that the village is in order as I asked it to be.

Habataro- I've had my clan spread the settlement out from the bank of that river over to the wall on the other side of the mouth.. The barrier stretches from wall to wall in front of the village and is working properly.


* Hiei nods. The scent of the Lynx is much more concentrated in this small hut and Hiei struggles internally to keep himself focused.


Hiei- The river is being watched.

Habataro- Hai.. A special squad has been placed near the river's edge just inside the barrier.. Two man per shift. It is watched all day and night.

Hiei- Good.. it sounds as though you know.. what you're doing.

Habataro- My clan.. was the strongest in this region.

Hiei- Was?

Habataro- Well, since you defeated me..

Hiei- I didn't defeat you, Cat, you buckled.


* Habataro nods.


Habataro- My Father didn't raise any idiots.. If I had continued on with my.. mistake.. you would have killed me. Then all of this would not be taking place.. We would not have the alliance we have formed.


* Habataro lowers his eyes from Hiei's increasingly intense gaze.


Habataro- I did what my instincts told me to do.

Hiei- do you regret..?

Habataro- No.


* Hiei blinks at the quick affirmitive answer.


Habataro- Cou has told us all that he knows about you.. You could have made all of us mindless drones.. You could have killed this whole village with just a thought.

Hiei- Hn.. Instead, I am using your village to protect my pack.


* Habataro motions Hiei toward the meager furniture in his common room.


Habataro- you own us. You may do.. anything you please.. with us.


* Hiei decides that he does need to sit down so he moves to the small couch.


Habataro- Personally, I'm more indebted to you than my brothers.

Hiei- How so?


* Hiei's hand motions for Hab to join him almost of its own accord. The Elder Lynx obeys without hesitation as he answers.


Habataro- Because of the way you marked us I'm able to keep my three mates.. Those younger cubs will grow to give me more grandbabies.


* Hiei situates himself so that he can study Habataro. When the feline meets his gaze with his soft green eyes Hiei is reminded of another that once looked at him with the same colored eyes. the Koorime marvels a moment at the stab of worry that goes through him about the Kitsune. But then Habataro speaks again regaining his full attention.


Habataro- We will protect your mates with all of our lives so that you will see many grandchildren of your own.


* Habataro twitches an ear when Hiei snorts with a bit of annoyance. The apparition decides to get that subject off of himself. He still has to deal with it himself, he doesn't need this Lynx puzzling over it, also.


Hiei- So you really care for your mates? Or are they just matings of need, as all of mine were?

Habataro- Mating of need?


* The lanky male chuckles good naturedly. He can feel Hiei's unbidden aura begin to reach out to him. It makes him a bit nervous, but he keeps it masked very well.


Habataro- I met my Alpha Mate, Roqueyo, in the spring over seventy years ago.. Of course, at the time, I guess you could say it was.. need..


* Hab smirks as he recalls the memory of his first encounter with Roqueyo.


Habataro- A h--- of a lot of need.


* Habataro clears his throat and looks back at Hiei.


Hiei- Hn.. I have become very acquainted.. with this need which you so fondly speak of.

Habataro- With an Alpha Female such as yours I don't doubt it.. How many mates do you have?

Hiei- Seven females and four males.


* Habataro cocks a bushy eyebrow.


Habataro- Ahh, so you have.. taken other males.

Hiei- Hn.. I had no choice.. They were marked by Gamock. They would have died if I didn't replace his claim.. I never professed to be a saint. Gender never much mattered to me anyway.


* Habataro nods slowly and looks away. With himself becoming so attuned to the Lynx, Hiei feels the sadness that creeps over Hab. He can't seem to stiffle the low growl that emits from him. He's really becoming annoyed with feeling all of these emotions.


Hiei- What the h--- is your problem now, Habataro?


* Hab shrugs, then sighs deeply.


Habataro- I figured that since you haven't.. shown any.. desire for me or my brothers that you were.. straight.

Hiei- You're straight, correct?


* The cat tilts his head thoughtfully.


Habataro- Honestly, I.. I'm just not.. sure.. But now that I belong to you..

Hiei- I told you I wasn't going to force you.. It has nothing to do with whether I.. desire you or not.


* Hab considers Hiei's words a couple moments, then looks toward him again.


Habataro- Do you?

Hiei- Do I what?

Habataro- You know.. Desire me.


* Hiei looks deep into Habataro's emerald eyes. The stir he's felt inside him since entering the hut intensifies. He becomes more aware of how familiar it feels. 'No.. More 'similar' than familiar.. This is not quite the same that I feel for the others.. This is more like.. lust..' When Hiei notices a smirk spread across Habataro's face it snaps him out of his 'distraction'.


Hiei- What?

Habataro- I don't have to have Cou's mind-reading ability to sense.. your arousal.


* Hiei considers vehemently denying his new subordinate's words. But no sooner than he decides that it's pointless his hand shoots up to entangle his fingers in Habataro's straight, silky brindled strands. He feels Habataro stiffen.


Hiei- Don't.. play with fire.. Unless you plan to get burned, Lynx.


* Hiei struggles to restrain himself as he watches Hab consider his options. When he finally focuses back on Hiei again he nods resolutely.


Habataro- I am a man of my word.. I've already vowed myself to you..

Hiei- Do you have any idea how much your first time will hurt?


* It stirs Hiei even more when the Lynx shrugs again.


Habataro- I've never feared pain.. Only death.


* Hiei chuckles thickly. He has slowly come to the conclusion that he's not going to be able to resist the inevitable.


Hiei- Oh, it will definately not kill you.

Habataro- Cou survived his first time at a much younger age.. I'm sure that I will live.


* The next thing Hiei knows he has pulled Habataro's head down closer to claim his mouth. Habataro jerks startled and Hiei pauses, his lips just barely brushing the cat's.


Hiei- If you want to.. continue.. you'll have to relax.

Habataro- S-so.. what? I kiss you th-the same as I would.. my other mates?

Hiei- Hn.


* Habataro nods as he relaxes. Then he leans to continue what Hiei started. For some reason, this doesn't sit well with the Koorime and a brief oral battle for the upper hand ensues. Their tongues battle back and forth, each surging forward in turn to pillage as much as possible before being forced to surrender briefly. When Hiei begins to understand what's going on he realizes that Habataro isn't under the same 'constraints' to be submissive as his other boys are. Once again, his instincts make their presence known by releasing a small burst of his aura. Habataro, who's more intimately familiar and agreeable with his own instincts, recognizes his superior and quickly suppresses his own habitual aggression. The victory he hands Hiei nearly drives the apparition mad. His hands frenziedly yank Habataro's tunic open then move down to begin untying the sash at his waist eagerly. The whole time Hiei's tongue delves more deeply into the Lynx's conquered moist cavern. Habataro's mind whirls as he feels himself being undressed. The roughness sends a jolt of trepidation through him. Even in his lust-driven state, the emotion makes its way through to Hiei. Slowly he regains enough control to pull away from the surrendered mouth. Habataro resists the urge to move forward and reclaim the intoxicating warmth as he watches Hiei heave, his face hidden against his furry chest. When Hiei looks back up his eyes flare as they meet the attentive green ones again.


Hiei- G-give me.. a moment.. I don't wish this to be.. out of control.


* Habataro nods.


Habataro- Hai.. It was my fault.. Forgive me, I will.. learn my place.


* Hiei replaces his face against the cat's chest. He can feel the ripple of tense muscles beneath his forehead. Not long after the desire to explore the expanse of furry flesh surges through Hiei and he obeys. He soon feels the effects that his actions are causing in the body beneath his lips. He swings a leg to take a more assertive position over the submissive male. Habataro rolls his head back and growls pleasurably when Hiei's mouth finds one of his nipples.


Habataro- Uhhh.. Oh s---, I.. I love it when.. One of my females does this..


* Hiei barely manages to curb his growl of possessiveness. He becomes increasingly aware of where his instincts are guiding him. Habataro watches him pull back to look around as if searching for something.


Habataro- What..?

Hiei- I'm.. I have to.. take you..

Habataro- Hai..


* Hiei smirks at his eagerness.


Hiei- Your.. eagerness pleases me.. But your.. inexperience stops me.. We will need lubricant.. More room..


* Habataro catches his breath.


Habataro- We draw water.. from the river. But the buckets are empty right now..

Hiei- Hn.. Let's go to the river, then.. If you're sure you want to continue..


* Hiei finds himself dumped aside as the Lynx stands quickly.


Habataro- It is an excellent day for a swim.


* Hiei sits amazed a moment as he watches Habataro head for the door holding his pants up. The Koorime then shakes his head and follows. His mind goes at a quicker pace then they are as theyt make their way toward the river.
