Hello all!

I have seven chapters for this story so far ^____^ I'm soooo happy. I'm going to try and make around 20 or more chapters....key word here people? Try! Hahahaha ^^;; But anyway, I hope you guys like this ^^.

A good story, though I must say that the prospect of Yusuke\Hiei, and Hiei\Yusuke make more eager then I'd be otherwise for this fic to continue.

Thank you ^^. I'm glad you think my story is good. Yeah well...Yusuke/Hiei or even Hiei/Yusuke fics are my second favs ^^. My first as most people know is Yusuke/Kuwa...I do like Kuwa/Yusuke fics but I hate how most people make Yusuke seem like a 'girl' in those fics, so I tend to go towards Yusuke/Kuwa (seme/uke) So I figured I should make my three fav pairings into one story hahaha hench this story ^^. I hope you enjoy it though! ENJOY!!

Chapter 5: Hiei Vs. Yusuke


Last Time.....


“The guy who’s gonna mangle you…for what you did to Keiko….and as for YOUR human, his name is Kuwabara and he is not yours.” Yusuke said with a serious face.

“So…you’re the sort who rises to the occasion when a friend’s in need…blasted annoying!” Hiei hissed his evil eye widening. “That’s the type of human I hate the most…!!” Hiei growled, wiping the small dribble of blood that came from the corner of his lip, with the back of his hand. “His power and ability increase to meet the situation. His attack caught me completely off guard.” Hiei mumbled to himself, causing Yusuke to look at him funny. “But you didn’t take the sword from me right then…a mistake. My guard is up, and will stay up! No way you’re getting the antidote!” Hiei said, holding the sword out. “She will be my demon slave! The girl’s third eye will open. There’s no stopping it.”

“So you say.” Yusuke said with no doubt in his voice, but determination.

This time.....


Hiei glared at Yusuke.

“So I know! You’re fast but my speed is beyond imagination!!” Hiei screamed, before rushing Yusuke and running around him, being blurs around Yusuke, only able to see Hiei once in awhile before disappearing.

“You see?!” Hiei shouted as he ran around Yusuke. “You can’t even follow my afterimage! This is how I beat my human and it will be how I will defeat you!”

Yusuke tensed up, his face twisting in anger.

Hiei grinned.

“Got him!” Hiei shouted coming at Yusuke’s side, ready to attack.

Yusuke turned and glared at Hiei before punching him in face, sending Hiei flying again.

“That’s it? You scurry around like a rat until I wallop you? I fought Kuwabara before and I really doubt he was beaten by you with this crummy technique. Can’t say I’m impressed with you or that evil eye of yours either.” Yusuke said, walking up to Hiei who was on the ground slowly standing up. “But never mind…let’s finish it!”

Hiei growled.

“Curse…it all!” Hiei said standing up, throwing off his top standing there in just his pants. “I never thought I’d have to transform to fight you…I never had to for my human even when we sparred...” Hiei said before grunting, his entire body changing before Yusuke’s eyes.

Yusuke gasped as he watched Hiei’s skin turn from the light tan color to a sickly dark green; evil eyes covering his entire body.

“Yikes!” Yusuke shouted, able to see the power of Hiei emitting off him.

Botan screamed as she felt the power of the eye fighting back against her white magic.

“Unh…the eyes’ power’s been boosted! Can’t hold it closed!!!’ Botan thought. ‘But if it opens, that’s it! Keiko’s a demon!!’ Botan thought before creating using more of her energy to keep the eye from opening.

Yusuke turned and noticed a huge white light coming from behind some creates.

“That light! What’s going on…?! Keiko! Botan!” Yusuke shouted.

“Her third eye is reacting to mine. Heh heh, the girl’s as good as demonified!” Hiei laughed. “Of course…” Hiei said, his evil eye glowing.

“Yi!!! Can’t move!” Yusuke gasped as he found his entire body was paralyzed.

“…that’s the least of your worries now!” Hiei shouted, punching Yusuke in the face.

Yusuke spit out spit as he fell backwards.

Outside the warehouse, a figure stopped.

“Incredible…a torrent of demonic power!! So this is his true form…” the person said.

Yusuke struggled in the unseen restraints, but found he was helpless.

‘Immobile…like I’ve been cocooned!’ Yusuke thought.

“Excellent! Not even you could escape a binding curse cast by all my evil eyes!” Hiei said, happy. “Now I will have satisfaction!!” Hiei shouted, going around the floating Yusuke and pounding him from every direction. “I will teach you for messing with my servant! You will not save him! He is mine and no one will take him from me!” Hiei shouted as he went around Yusuke.

Hiei jumped away, Yusuke breathing heavily and groaning from the pain he was in, his head down.

“Now you see the difference in our abilities. Still for a human, you put up a good fight! Out of respect…” Hiei said, picking up the Conjuring Blade. “I’ll finish you with one thrust!” Hiei shouted.

Yusuke’s head came up wearily.

‘No way…to stop him…’ thought Yusuke, letting out a growl.

“DIE!!!” Hiei shouted as he came forward with the blade.

Yusuke closed his eyes.

“WHAT?!” Hiei shouted, causing Yusuke to open one of his eyes, which widened.

In front of him was Kurama, who took the sword into his own gut.

“Kurama? Are you out of your mind?! You took my killing stroke!!” shouted Hiei.

Kurama reached down and took some of his blood into his hand and throwing it into Hiei’s face, splashing him in all three eyes.

“Org! Blood?!” Hiei shouted as he closed all three eyes. “AAGH!! Curse you, my eye…!!!” Hiei shouted, rubbing at his eyes.

Kurama stepped back and held on to the sword that was still in his gut, making sure it didn’t move too much.

Yusuke touched the ground and brought his hands up.

“I…can move again!!” Yusuke shouted surprised.

“Eyes all over his body amplified his power but the one on his forehead is the source of it.” Kurama said. “It’s blind now, which evens things up.” Kurama said, a dribble of blood coming from the corner of his mouth that held a smile. “Finish your business. I’ll see to the girl, and after words we will free Kuwabara-kun.” Kurama said.

Yusuke turned to Kurama surprised. “You know Kuwabara but how do… wait….you’ve got a sword in your gut!” Yusuke shouted, realizing what happened.

“I’m a demon, remember? I’ll get over it. Now go, before Hiei’s evil eye recovers!!” Kurama said.

“Unh…” Hiei said, while opening up his two eyes, though his evil eye still slightly closed. “Kurama! You traitor! You won’t get away with this!! I won’t let you get near Kuwabara! I’ll massacre you!!!” Hiei shouted.

Yusuke stood in front of Hiei, who looked a bit scared.

“Aren’t you forgetting something?” Yusuke said looking pissed.
“Unbelievable! Every time he escapes danger his spiritual strength grows! If this keeps up he’ll be a serious threat someday!” Hiei said before rushing forward. “I’ll kill you now, human!! And I’ll make sure you’re dead!!”

Hiei punched forward, but Yusuke ducked to the side. Hiei glanced to his side and dodged as Yusuke swung. Hiei ended up behind Yusuke and punched him, sending him flying however Hiei ran in front of the flying Yusuke and kicked him in the face, sending Yusuke flying back in the direction he had come from.

‘Ha! He’s still no match for me!’ Hiei thought with a grin.

Yusuke quickly got up from the ground and started to run. Hiei stopped and started to run along side of Yusuke.

“Aww…running away? Tsk!” Hiei said.

‘Almost…just a bit more…’ Yusuke thought, looking behind Hiei.

Yusuke stopped and so did Hiei, who rushed towards him.

“Ha ha ha! Now you die!!” Hiei shouted, extending his claws.

‘Bingo!’ Yusuke thought, as he pointed his finger. “Not just yet, jerk!” Yusuke shouted.

Hiei’s widened as a very powerful blast of spirit energy was fired from Yusuke’s finger, sending Yusuke backwards and into the wall behind him.

“Whu?!” Hiei shouted as he watched the blast come right at him.

Hiei barely had time to move out of the way, but was able to dodge it. Yusuke gasped, as he now sat on the floor. Hiei landed on his feet.

“The Rei gun! Hell of an ace you had up your sleeve!” Hiei said, impressed. “You’ve proven to be far more than you seem! But you’re done, I can tell!” Hiei said.

Yusuke looked behind Hiei and started to scoot over a bit, having Hiei follow in front of him.

“If you’d had time to improve, you might’ve winged me.” Hiei said.

Yusuke continued to scoot over, Hiei slowly following and tilting his head.

“Shuffle all you like, detective…there’s nowhere to go.” Hiei said.

Yusuke stopped and started to breathe hard, sitting against the wall.

“Heh…that’s better.” Hiei said, bring his clawed hand up. “You and your three friends are going to Hell…and Kuwabara will be mine until I am done with him…but I’m sending YOU first!!” Hiei shouted, bringing his clawed hand forward.

However, Hiei wasn’t able to put his attack into motion because he was hit in the back by a powerful spiritual attack, causing him to scream out in pain.

“I’m hit!!! Who…?” Hiei said as he spit out blood, Yusuke covering his eyes from the blast.

“Who did that?! How…?” Hiei asked weakly as his back had smoke coming off him. He turned and heard a cracking and saw the mirror. “Th-the Mirror of Darkness!” Hiei shouted as he watched the mirror crack and break, all the pieces still in the frame.

“You…anticipated I would dodge your shot…” Hiei said visualizing the plan of attack Yusuke had. “…And used the mirror to reflect it back at me!!”
Hiei had stood only a few feet from where he almost got hit by the blast Yusuke had fired. He was directly in front of the mirror at that time and Yusuke scooted over only as far as he thought the mirror would reflect the blast at, and that was who Hiei was hit by, Yusuke.

Yusuke had a cocky grin on his face, a dried line of blood from the corner of his lips, while the rest of his face looked scuffed up.

“That’s about the size of it.” Yusuke said. “My floundering lured you into the path of the ricochet.”

Hiei’s eyes began to roll back into his head as his body wobbled on his feet.

“I can’t ….believe you…” Hiei said, his skin turning back to normal as he fell forward, towards Yusuke’s foot.

Yusuke caught Hiei with his foot, completely knocking Hiei out, and stopping the demon from landing on him. Yusuke wobbled a bit as he stood and leaned a bit on the wall as he stood.

“Heh…so much for him. Hell of a fight, though…” Yusuke said steadying himself before going over to here the other three.

“Are you guys all right?!” Yusuke said, walking over, still a bit unbalanced.

“Keiko! Is she….?” Yusuke asked, looking at the still unconscious girl.

“She’s fine. The antidote’s working.” Botan said, with a smile.

“The third eye’s fading…” Yusuke said, watching the third eye on Keiko’s forehead disappear. “Whew!” Yusuke let out a breath, before turning to Kurama, who lay against the wall.

“How’re you doing Kurama…?” Yusuke asked. “I owe you, man…”

Kurama smiled at him.

“Don’t sweat it. I’ll be okay. My trial’s pending, so I’ll just stay home until then and mend.” Kurama said.

“You could’ve let me in on that little plan of yours, you rascal.” Botan said. “When did you figure out your rei gun blast could reflect off a mirror?”

“Huh?” Yusuke said, turning to Botan, before a grin crossed his face and he brought his finger to his temple. “You think I had a plan? Feh! It was a flash of insight! I just realized he was so fast that I’d never bag him with a direct shot. But what else could I do? Then I saw the Mirror of Darkness across the room, where he’d dropped it. I just took a chance the aura blast was enough like light to reflect back. Literally a hit-or-miss proposition!” Yusuke said.

“But…” Botan said. “…what were you gonna do if that didn’t work?!”

“I’d just think of something else!” Yusuke said.

Botan’s face turned into a cat face as she sighed at Yusuke’s ‘live for the moment’ philosophy.

Kurama smiled and chuckled.

“So, you didn’t have a plan after all. I think I’m starting to understand how you work…” Kurama said.

“Hold on, Kurama! What’s THAT supposed to mean?!” Yusuke asked.

“It means what it sounds like…” Kurama said with a chuckle.

Yusuke glared at Kurama for a few more seconds before he realized something.

“Wait, what about Kuwabara? Do you know where that jerk, Hiei, has him?” Yusuke asked.

Kurama frowned.

“No. Even though I was on friendly terms with Hiei, I was never close enough to him to know where he lived.” Kurama said.

“Oh…” Yusuke said “Well…how did you know he had Kuwabara?”

Kurama smiled at Yusuke.

“Well it was because of Kuwabara that I had met Hiei.” Kurama said.

“Really?” Yusuke said a bit shocked.

“How is that possible?” Botan asked, after setting Keiko in a comfortable position.

“Well it’s a long story…” Kurama started.

“We have some time, right Botan? Hiei’s gonna be out for a while.” Yusuke said with a grin, sitting down.

“And Koenma might take a while with those reinforcements I’ve called for not too long ago.” Botan added, turning an interested face towards Kurama.

Kurama sighed, knowing when he was defeated.

“Well, it seems I don’t have a choice BUT to tell you now, do I?” Kurama said.

Yes everyone, another flash back, BUT it's a cool and fun one!! Hehehehe ^^. I think you guys will like it, because it is the actual scene of how Hiei and Kurama met!! However, I altered it a lot ^^;;; but I had to for this story....had to alter a lot of the normal story line for this hahaha. So I hope you guys liked this chapter, because it's all you're going to get for a while ^_~. I have to work on a few more chapters. I only have barely two more chapters done after this one, so I will be working on this story and A Dream Come True, and other stories that are not up at this time, but will once I finish them ^^. I've learned not to rush to posting and just finish what I have BEFORE I post....^^;;; so until next time! Later!!!
